Its amazing watching all these older Brazilian teacjers still teaching by saying "then you do this, then this, then that, then this. Ok, now you do it".
Not saying you're wrong. Sure there are more effective ways to convey techniques, then again, how many champions have you produced vs Andre? I'm still more inclined to follow his teachings than some internet critic who hasn't accomplished half of what that man has in this sport.
Lieras, Dom, Barbosa, Ruotolo's, Duarte. Where is all the Atos talent nowadays? Rolando, Jonatas, and Murasaki are the only ones holding that gym up lol.
Im a wrestler and i don’t really get it, why is he “teaching a move” just before a major competition 🤔 we don’t do it in Wrestling, we work on our skills way before, to prepare a big competition we stop “ studying” and we “practice”, i don’t get the point with his methodology, they won’t do a move they “learned” just before a comp why this waste of time? 🤔 The second instructor methode makes way more sense to me…
It's not apples to oranges. This class isn't exclusively for the competitors; it is open to anyone to participate. The style of classes you refer to is limited to active competitors only, and generally follow what you outlined. Good observation though.
@@JLJE54 True, but it's open to the public, not the one limited to their in-house World's competitors only. I wouldn't think they'd be allowed to film that anyways.
the vibes were immaculate. atos hq seems like an absolute joy
best episode so far, a little lightheartedness goes a long way
“We’re in beautiful, sunny San Diego!”

Oh sure, americans are all enlightned beings immune to conventional teaching methodologies.
