@@PonsorProductionsabout to pull the trigger on the mod hood. where did u mount the gps puck. Doesn't look like there's a dedicated spot for it? Could it possibly be mounted in that little triangle shaped spot right in front of the storage bag? Thanks in advance
@@PonsorProductions r u talked about the v2v antenna? The gps puck is stuck to the underside of the stock hood storage compartment. With the storage location on the cariboux hood i just can't see it being in the same location anymore. Thanks
Love it!
That hood with no vents or lights is 🔥, way better
@@michaeldelesky it does look pretty sweet!
sad that nobody makes lightweight hoods for the g5 doo, i know theres that carbon one but 1800 is too much.
@dillonprissel69 Yeah true!
How does the storage compare to the stock hood. Its around 5 liters but not sure how big the stock one is. Thanks
@adams5xr847 It seems to be around the same amount of storage. This hood might actually have a bit more

@@adams5xr847 there is a designated spot on the left side of the hood where you can drill a hole and stick it through

@adams5xr847 yeah that's for the antenna, for the GPS puck, I mounted it on the backside of the 7s mounting plate included with the hood
👍
Well that’s not much 3 lbs lighter
@@moon_the_only_moon That's quite a bit for a snowmobile! Some guys spend tons of money on titanium bolts to shave off ounces. Haha
