BMW E21 320i Dry Ice Cleaning & Detailing

- Few things scream "sports car" like a classic red BMW coupe. We had this e21 320i in the shop for a deep dry ice blasting, wash, and paint correction. We dry ice cleaned the underbody, the wheel wells, engine bay, and trim, deeply washed the wheels, paint corrected the red paint that needed some LOVE back to a fantastic shine, and even replaced the old worn BMW logos.
The white-ish color you see around 0:50 is the original body color of the car (20years ago the car was repainted, removing 40 years of dirt!) This is the second owner and it was his first car… he owned it for last 29 years!

California cars have a wonderful state of preservation, if you approach any E21 from underneath where I live first bring a good TIG welder.
US bumpers on this car are truely hideous! Hope the owner will do a euro convertion on this sweet ride

Yes of course. If this BMW ran in Europe, such a cleaning would be a real shot in the knee.
What you’re seeing is correct. Our dry ice is removing the undercoating, along with some paint on the parts that were poorly repainted underneath the car when they changed the body color.
Just like magic except more expensive.

Is it legal to install euro bumpers on these?
Shouldn't be a problem. Just sourcing them in good condition and will probably be quite pricey
Why didn't you clean/polish the chrome front bumper ?
That was something that was left off our list for this one. Each thing adds time and materials, so we focused on the stuff we were asked to focus on :)
It's anodized aluminum. They won't look like chrome and if they're pitted and scratched they'd need a specialist to de-anodize them.

Looks nice, but I'm surprised that someone would invest that amount of money into a car that is obviously not the original color
Trust me I asked the owner few times if he is sure he want to do that, because the price for our services can go over the price of the car and still can’t guarantee how it will look like on the end. But this client really love his first car that he ever own and he want to make it best as possible. So we did our best and on the end everybody are happy and the car actually looks much better than I expected.
