While Tierney is here and we have injuries at left back he should be playing end of, my main criticism of Mikel is he continues to play players out of their positions. You see the drop of in the team whenever players are moved around, play the players in their correct position if us fans can see that surely someone as intelligent as Mikel should see it too but it continues to happen time after time.
Mikel has let the perfect become the enemy if the good. Tierney is a good option at LB, Kwior is a good option, Zinchenko, Tavares... All with their deficiencies, but all very good. But Mikel would rather sign another LB in Calafiori. And on and on we go.
Keep up the fine work Charles! Fine margins have absolutely not gone our way this season. That is an absolute fact! Arteta is stubborn and makes mistakes of course, but he is also without question one of the brightest managers in the game (despite his relative youth and inexperience) and surely knows magnitudes more about the side and the game than any casual fine ever could. For all those fans seriously questioning Arteta, you might want to keep in mind, this. There's barely a club in the world that wouldn't jump at the chance to hire him the moment he is out the door. That ought to tell you something!
I am surprised why Arteta is not considering the Tierney for LB. I agree with you 💯 and feel that MA is costing us by being stubborn. If the Arsenal players are played in their positions we are untouchable. Its as simple as Raya/Neto, Timber/White, Saliba/White/Timber/Heaven, Gabriel/Kiwior, Calafiori/Zin/MLS/TK3, TP5/J20, Rice/Merino, MO/Nwanieri, Saka/Sterling, Martinelli/Trossard, Kai/Jesus. The last time Gabriel Martinelli had his best season was when Keiran Tierney was their on the left with him. I'm not sure if that combo seems to help Martinelli? Did anyone else check/remember how they paired together?
I'm with you 100% about playing Tierny. To be honest I am kinda growing tired of Arteta's stubbornness and ultra risk-averse approach. Sometimes, you just gotta take a chance to find answers to different problems. The team loses its fluidity with Patry at RB and Timber at LB.
@@franco3134 You think they don't try to replicate real game intensity in training matches & exercises? Then you don't have a clue I'm afraid, sorry. Players get injured during training just as much as they do in games too.
10:01 I think you're doing a great job with your daily videos, thank you, Charles. One thing though: you're once in a while saying, after an analysis of Mikel's decisions, that who are you to tell Mikel what to do....why? Mikel is making obvious mistakes, is too stubborn for his own good, and it is reflected in our results and shortcomings as a squad that is performing below its capabilities. For Mikel to go from a good manager to a great manager he better grows out of this stubborness and starts making decisions that actually work and begins thinking on his feet during a game. He would better start listening to someone like you or some of the fanbase. After playing Xhaka for how many games at left back, just because it somewhat worked the first time, we thought that he has realized something, after it becoming more than obvious that it never worked beyond the first game, and we all thought that he wouldn't repeat that blatant mistake, but it's continuing, eg Havertz, Partey, Timber etc out of position, not once trying Nwanieri as a starter when Martin was injured etc. There are enough people that have a good understanding of football to give their input in suggesting better ways and measures on how to set up or what to improve tactically. The only justification to not question Mikel would be wins....
Charles love your programme, very balanced views of which I agree with most. Been trying to get to grips with why I have felt really flat since the Fulham match, yes we haven't had the rub of the green, yes my heart sinks every time Gabriel J walks on the pitch, yes we need reinforcement in areas and can't always depend on set pieces...and so on and so forth...but it's more than that. I was at the heartbreaking UCL final in 2006, a tournament ,we have never won (UCL), nor have we won the PL in the last 20 years, yet Man City, Chelsea, Man U and Liverpool have all won both, some multiple times since 2006. I don't really know how we were not ready to take advantage of Man City's slump this season (I believe Liverpool will slip at some stage). I am forever a gooner, but I am a bit disillusioned. Since Henry, we have never truly had a goal machine of a striker. Some amazing players of course, but never that 1 striker that everybody envies.. The previously 4 mentioned FC's have and it made all the difference. Think Rooney, Ronaldo, Drogba, Salah, Suarez, Aguero, Tevez, Haaland to name a few... Van Persie could have been that for us, in years gone by, but just too many injuries. I really hope we attract that really special striker, one day soon!
If Liverpool slips, i can bet it with you that arsenal will slip more. City can't be totally rule out of the title race so soon. They are wounded lion. Chelsea is a serious title contender, a fact people especially arsenal fans with some exaggerated hope often disregard. Arsenal won't still win the EPL this season to be candid. It's good you raise your hope but be also prepared for any disappointment that may come when arsenal comes with their usual bottling job. I rest my case.
@@adelusimayowa3011 Liverpool slipped and Arsenal slipped with them as you predicted. Out and out striker needed to win big trophies, no chance without one.
@@Cifarelll My boss. You could feel what I meant when i posted my comment. Many fans won't accept that this current arsenal team is far from winning the much coveted EPL, and that us aside the various tactical blinders often used by the coach. Once again, i rest my case.
I feel like your Tierney shout is just searching for an answer to the defense issue rather than actually thinking he’s good enough to fill in. If the goal is to get Timber at RB you could move Rice to CB, then Kiwior at LB. Allows you to play Partey/Merino/Giorgino in midfield and keep the full backs in their more “natural” positions. Feels less disruptive than bringing Tierney in after such a long hiatus, unfortunately I think his ship has sailed. #LoveTheShow
Hi Charles, Alex Scott interviewed Thierry Henry on the BBC. He spoke a lot about that football arrogance, knowing that he was the best. I am starting to see that in Saka game this season, which is different to last year. Henry also talked about how the Invincibles team knew when they had gotten to an opponent in the tunnel. I think that is something this team needs to develop in order to go up a level. Winning something would help that.
Agree about the Tierney situation. Also, playing and showcasing his talents might help with loan/sale. Surely between M.L.S and Tierney we could have got 90 mins of football. I Think this is Artettas blind spot, his reluctance to play good players unless they are considered 100% in his range.
Hi Charles, I agree that we could do with some more firepower up top to match the resources of a club like Liverpool in that department, but what I feel we're lacking the most is creativity, as demonstrated by Odegaard's recent absence - when we're without him or he's not on song, we just don't have enough backup, only the youngster Nwaneri, whereas if you look at City, they didn't miss De Bruyne because they have so many other players who can do a job in that creative role. I think all three of those areas (wing, striker, number 10) need to be addressed over the next couple of transfer windows, which is why I love the idea of versatile players like Kudus or Eze as backup options for Odegaard who could also offer more rest for Saka or Martinelli without our level dropping significantly. Would love to hear your thoughts on that?
Absolutely not a fucking chance. We all loved it when we were thinking Ashworth was taking Southgate to Manchester United. If he comes to Arsenal, the scenes should be worse than the super league protests.
On not signing a big name striker. Look at what Man City have done without one. And look at what they've done this year with Haaland. I love our team chemistry, the team play, interchange, fluidity, and we scored plenty of goals last year. Sure, I'd like a productive striker, but the tricky part is not upsetting the team, not being too dependent on one man. If you're going to live or die by one thing, I'd rather have a balanced, fluid team than one man who may be up or down or injured, or a crap personality. I still cringe thinking about Ozil and Obamayang and even Van Persie at the end.
Charles, with so many possible injuries in the back line how do you think Mikel would set up if the worst scenario(meaning Timber and Partey also misses the Monaco game) happens? On LB we could start Lewis-Skelly but there are really no possible candidates for the RB position if the worst scenario happens. We have to use youth players by then which means possibly Josh Nichols starting at RB but i hardly see that happening.
If this David Coote didn't appear to this day, we would've still had these ridiculous decisions against us trust that. I said this the other day WE need LEVEL UPs on the LW ST & Comp 4 Saka, a comp for Odegaard, decent GK I think DEF were ok but unlucky this season and I think we can start really moving into winning titles but until then we aren't doing anything, except wasting time, hopefully a cup this season.
Hi Charles. I'm sending this comment after open training has been filmed. Assuming all the absences from training don't recover for tomorrow, we absolutely need to play Kieran Tierney. Raya Nichols Saliba Kiwior Tierney Ødegaard Rice Merino Saka Havertz Martinelli
Tierney is a fantastic player and when fit proved it. How people forget how good he is is a prime example of "Oh Arteta the genius". It is beyond idiocy that you would put your best midfielder Partey at fb throw Timer over etc etc when you have a player of Tierney's obvious quality available - this how much Arteta's ego and narcissm goes. To the grave he's gonna try and prove his theories work nomatter what it costs us. Compounding that he keeps doing it every time and it costs us perpetually. The work of a football cretin "Who am I to argue with Mikel Arteta ? - he knows an awful lot more...." Does he? You're one of these people who think football management is rocket science. It's not. I'd argue you and I know a lot more about the management of people than Mikel Arteta does. I'd say if YOU, Charles Watts, were the manager in the last two years we'd have won two titles by now ( the same for me and many others ) Arteta is a nonsense .....and you know it
Question - Tierney is coming from a bad injury and didn't kick the ball for ages. Why start him against Adama Traoré? Maybe Arteta intended to give him minutes if we were comfortably leading with a good margin.
Correct observation, Tieney has been out injured for quite sometime & I hope that's why Mikel couldn't play him especially given he was going to be against non other than Adama the Rhino.
Word is that Ashworth was involved in the buying of Tonali, who it later appeared that Tonali had a 10 month betting ban which kicked in 6 weeks after the beginning of last season.
Hi Charles, Just to let you know. Most likely! If Arsenal wins at Monaco by 2 goals, they will go 2nd place (1 goal = 3rd) in the champions league table going into the final 2 games, it would be a great place to see. It's that tight, where a draw or loss would mean possibly moving out of the top 8, and then it being out of their hands, even if they win both games. COYG
Perhaps fantasy football is to blame, but the reaction of some "fans" is ridiculous. Wanting a player or certain type of player is different from getting a player signed. You just have to look at Chelsea and Man Utd to see that buying lots of expensive players is not the answer.
Charles - i just saw a big list of players not in first team training today. Addtions include timber, partey, and zinchenko, adding to gabby and calli. What the hell is happening to our defensive players and injuries!
Hey Charles, you're no apologist, you are a balanced realist, dont entertain this. We had plenty of firepower over the years that was deem edsurplus by Mikel (for good reason) but that was never replaced. We had two decent aging strikers in Auba and Laca, we had width in Pepe, we had backups come through in ESR, Balogun and Eddie that we sold/terminated (you can include Reiss in that list). This rebuild is a pyramid and we are still not even half way. At the base is defence. That's the solid Basque/Catalan/Scottish foundation that Mikel will always build any squad around. If he goes to Barcelona tomorrow, he'll focus on defence first. And he has been vindicated, somewhat. All the teams that struggle in the PL struggle defensively not offensively. Having said that it has been criminal how we've been so heavily reliant on our star boy and a Real Madrid previous loanee turned perm to carry this squad to success. It's a bit like investing in a restaurant, paying money to make it look good, be functional, good customer service, everything, but the head chefs are missing and the backup chefs are in their 20s. We really ought to be making bigger statements and I think we need someone to carry this project forward eventually. We may be soon reaching the end of the Arteta project but not the end of the Arsenal rebuild.
We need an attacker in January. Our attack in open play is costing us and we cant keep relying on set pieces . Even against Utd we didn't create alot of clear cut chances from open play and the same happened over the weekend
Hi Charles, do you think maybe the reason we keep Tierney on our team sheet is for the home grown quota? Because we got rid of ESR I'm assuming it was calculated because we had Ethan Nwaneri coming through, otherwise we may have kept ESR. Reiss is also only on loan at Fulham so I'm not too sure what the rules on the home grown quota is.
Tierney or Rice would have worked better at left back. I know Rice hasn’t played there but he stated off as a CB and he has a good enough engine to get up and down the pitch on an overlap. Moreno would have also enjoyed the minutes while Partey can play in his best position.
Great stuff Charles. Bit concerned with the Dan Ashworth links. Is he not the one at United that wanted Southgate?! One quick way to drain the Emirates would be let Safegate through the door!! #COYG 👀🤦🏼♂️🥱
Sadly, strikers don't really exist anymore. I'm old enough to remember every major club in Europe having at least three, often four, excellent strikers at once. In the 90s Isak, Haaland and Watkins would be in the same squad. Now? The only strikers really worth purchasing in the league.
@Nostradanus86 Seriously? We're talking strikers now, not forwards. Wright, Bergkamp, Henry, Anelka, Kanu, Wiltord and Suker all overlapped and/or played with each other. We literally had four at once! Man Utd, Newcastle, Liverpool all had similar stories. Not winning? Throw on another goalscorer. Real strikers. Name four strikers, all of comparable quality in a single league. I'll refresh my coffee while I wait.
Why did we finish the Fulham game with a back 4 Sterling should have been on and played a back 3 Arteta needs to gamble more these draws are killing us
Arteta needs to make some tough decisions if Arsenal is to reach the next level. Players like Gabriel Jesus, Zinchenko, and Raheem Sterling are not contributing significantly to the team and have become more of a financial burden than an asset. It’s time for Arteta to part ways with them. Furthermore, Arteta must take a stronger stance with Kai Havertz. Havertz needs to step up and become a more active and effective goal scorer, rather than going down easily for minor touches on the field. Currently, he appears passive, waiting for opportunities instead of creating and capitalizing on them, unlike other top strikers in the EPL. Arteta should not only push him harder but also bring in a top-tier striker to challenge him and drive better performances. There’s a reason Chelsea let him go he has consistently underperformed compared to expectations. A major squad overhaul is essential this summer. Arsenal needs to invest in quality players who can truly make a difference on the pitch. Without this, the team risks slipping not only to second-best but potentially falling to third in the EPL standings, missing out on another title. Coaches like Arne Slot at Liverpool and Enzo Maresca at Chelsea have adopted no-nonsense policies: perform or leave. Their approach is yielding results. If Liverpool clinches the EPL title this season, as it seems likely, Arteta should take serious note and evaluate what he’s doing wrong. It’s time for a strategic reset to bring Arsenal back to the top where they belong.
When rumours are more about who the technical director is going to be than actual signings when we’re only 3 weeks away from the start of the window, you know the games gone haha
It’ll show a real lack of ambition if we go for Ashworth, we’ve been very well run over the last 4/5 years but I really feel the last 18 months feels like we’ve been run really poorly regarding transfers and losing edu etc
This Ashworth possibility doesn't float my boat too much. Just listened to a bit of an ESPN video (some of the young guys who I think are pretty good, not the older chuckleheads). Amongst the points they brought up where his questionable effectiveness at MU and letting Viktor Gyökeres go from Brighton. Just feels like "not a step forward" for us. I feel like there is some bad karma building up on us lately and I don't think he would help that. Strictly an opinion.
I done a job for tierneys mums friend in wishaw before bolton in the cup and they told me he was going in the summer untill he got injured so i would imagine hes going out on loan again in january and the club are protecting him till then
Tierney needs to stay fit so he can be sold and free up his wages to support bringing in options at the sharp end of the pitch. MLS should be getting LB minutes imo
Here is another opinion on why Mikel isn’t playing Kieran… He has spent fortunes on trying to replace him and not one of those players has really worked. Kieran is still the best left back at the club. If Mikel plays him and he balls out, it will show the board and the fans what a big mistake he has made in trying to replace him.
Unfortunately, KT being on the bench is probably nothing more than an attempt to increase his visibility for a sale. Not sure why Mikel has lost faith in him. Beyond injuries, but he seems to keep faith with a number of regularly injured players outside KT.
Charles what are your thoughts on Calafiori, his injury record must be a massive concern! Along with Tommy is it time to bite the bullet and move all of our injury prone left backs on?
Jesus has fallen from grace. To have arrived and brought us so much excitement and becoming a liability of late is mind boggling. Such a curious case to me, cant remember the last arsenal player to do that
Hi Charles, Think it was really apparent that playing a right footed LB, LCM & LW in the same side hurt the lefthand side. Although the LHS has been an issue since Xhaka left, I think there are a couple of slight tweaks that would help. LW - We are going to have a right footed player regardless, but if Timber is playing at LB... I think Martinelli is better at staying wide than Trossard. LCM - Really want to see Merino get a good run-out during the rest of December. LB - Think Arteta has Liverpool scars on combining MLS and Kiwior. For MLS, I think we would need Rice at 6 and possibly big Gabi back. If we can half sort out the lefthand side, Timber moves back to the right and that makes us soooo much more dangerous. Partey has been one of our x3 best midfielders this year... but I am not sure that the Partey/Rice/Ødegaard midfield is better balanced than Rice/Merino/Ødegaard, especially given the constraints around our fullbacks.

Tierney could get injured in training just as much as he could do in a game. We pay him massive wages, let's use him!
the intensity of a game is not the same as training. don’t be daft
@@franco3134You expressed more confusion through this statement than the original comment 😂 you responded to.
But can you elaborate a bit ?
@@Cifarelll
My boss.
Hi Charles,
Alex Scott interviewed Thierry Henry on the BBC. He spoke a lot about that football arrogance,
knowing that he was the best. I am starting to see that in Saka game this season, which is different to last year. Henry also talked about how the Invincibles team knew when they had gotten to an opponent in the tunnel. I think that is something this team needs to develop in order to go up a level. Winning something would help that.
Charles, on the Tierney topic / question- why don’t you ask Arteta at the press conference ?
He wouldn’t answer besides Charles not permitted to ask tough questions.
Agree about the Tierney situation. Also, playing and showcasing his talents might help with loan/sale. Surely between M.L.S and Tierney we could have got 90 mins of football. I Think this is Artettas blind spot, his reluctance to play good players unless they are considered 100% in his range.
Hard agree. Self destructive imo. Too stubborn/scared to play the fringe/young player
KT...absolute class!
Is it just me, or does anyone else not want Ashworth because he looks a bit like Teddy Sheringham?
Hi Charles. I'm sending this comment after open training has been filmed. Assuming all the absences from training don't recover for tomorrow, we absolutely need to play Kieran Tierney.
Raya
Nichols Saliba Kiwior Tierney
Ødegaard Rice Merino
Saka Havertz Martinelli
Tierney is a fantastic player and when fit proved it. How people forget how good he is is a prime example of "Oh Arteta the genius". It is beyond idiocy that you would put your best midfielder Partey at fb throw Timer over etc etc when you have a player of Tierney's obvious quality available - this how much Arteta's ego and narcissm goes. To the grave he's gonna try and prove his theories work nomatter what it costs us. Compounding that he keeps doing it every time and it costs us perpetually. The work of a football cretin
"Who am I to argue with Mikel Arteta ? - he knows an awful lot more...." Does he? You're one of these people who think football management is rocket science. It's not. I'd argue you and I know a lot more about the management of people than Mikel Arteta does. I'd say if YOU, Charles Watts, were the manager in the last two years we'd have won two titles by now ( the same for me and many others )
Arteta is a nonsense .....and you know it
Bryan Mbeumo is a must addition to our team. Need that predominantly left footed player who can do what Mbeumo does.
I do not trust Arteta anymore, unless he brings a major trophy this season, he should be on his way out
Word is that Ashworth was involved in the buying of Tonali, who it later appeared that Tonali had a 10 month betting ban which kicked in 6 weeks after the beginning of last season.
Who cares I don't want him at Arsenal cuz he got tonali
😂😂😂
Hi Charles,
Just to let you know.
COYG
I would love to see tierney and martinelli together down that left hand side. They would complement each other
Perhaps fantasy football is to blame, but the reaction of some "fans" is ridiculous.
Kieran...Tierney..... PLEAAASSEEEE
Great analogy mate 😊
A happy Chewsday to you too Charles!
Timber can invert from the right and Tierney can play the traditional LB role
We need an attacker in January. Our attack in open play is costing us and we cant keep relying on set pieces . Even against Utd we didn't create alot of clear cut chances from open play and the same happened over the weekend
Hi Charles, do you think maybe the reason we keep Tierney on our team sheet is for the home grown quota? Because we got rid of ESR I'm assuming it was calculated because we had Ethan Nwaneri coming through, otherwise we may have kept ESR. Reiss is also only on loan at Fulham so I'm not too sure what the rules on the home grown quota is.
Fullbacks can support but underlapping, they don't have to overlap, Zinchenko would rarely do this
Jesus and 30 million for Isak would be good business
Highway robbery is more like it.
Tierney or Rice would have worked better at left back. I know Rice hasn’t played there but he stated off as a CB and he has a good enough engine to get up and down the pitch on an overlap. Moreno would have also enjoyed the minutes while Partey can play in his best position.
I agree ,we will never win if we don’t take risks
Great stuff Charles. Bit concerned with the Dan Ashworth links. Is he not the one at United that wanted Southgate?! One quick way to drain the Emirates would be let Safegate through the door!! #COYG 👀🤦🏼♂️🥱
Charles what about Semenyo from Bournemouth
Excellent player
@ can replace martinelli
@seunfayokun4680 Trossard will not be here in 2026...
KT is on the market, that’s why.
Are there any sports journalists in the UK? Maybe one of them could ask Arteta why he isn't playing certain players, imagine that!
It is unbelievable that Arteta is treating KT like a development player when we are desperate for a leftback
Sadly, strikers don't really exist anymore.
I'm old enough to remember every major club in Europe having at least three, often four, excellent strikers at once.
In the 90s Isak, Haaland and Watkins would be in the same squad. Now? The only strikers really worth purchasing in the league.
You need more than coffee.... perhaps you should watch European football on a regular basis.
@bucklberryreturns you ask for 4 strikers in an Arsenal team since this list of strikers ?
@@bucklberryreturns I think the emphasis though over the seasons is a game winning player from midfield wether its a CAM or wide forward.
@@Nostradanus86 No, I ask for you to name as many quality strikers in an entire current division, comparable to those Arsenal had alone in the past.
Why did we finish the Fulham game with a back 4
Sterling should have been on and played a back 3
Arteta needs to gamble more these draws are killing us
Arteta needs to make some tough decisions if Arsenal is to reach the next level.
It’s time for a strategic reset to bring Arsenal back to the top where they belong.
what's the FPL link?
I done a job for tierneys mums friend in wishaw before bolton in the cup and they told me he was going in the summer untill he got injured so i would imagine hes going out on loan again in january and the club are protecting him till then
If Gabriel and calafiori can make it, I would leave them out for the weekend
Tierney needs to stay fit so he can be sold and free up his wages to support bringing in options at the sharp end of the pitch. MLS should be getting LB minutes imo
Here is another opinion on why Mikel isn’t playing Kieran…
He has spent fortunes on trying to replace him and not one of those players has really worked.
Lewis Skelly at left back. Why not?
Done it before
Charles what are your thoughts on Calafiori, his injury record must be a massive concern! Along with Tommy is it time to bite the bullet and move all of our injury prone left backs on?
You’re not moving on a left back you just bought for 40m 3 months later lol
Lmao we just bought him mate *head scratches*
People talk up the Liverpool attack, but Salah has half their goals, jota is good but injury prone, Diaz is inconsistent and the rest a meh tbh
Arteta doesn't believe in him. End of.
Charles. Arteta is not God! Your points on Tierney and overlapping is valid. Arteta and his use of personal is a head scratcher for me.
I think Arteta need to learn to pivot.. Play Tierney and play a style to suit him.. Tierney is the best left back Arsenal have hands down..
Tierney has never played with kiwior. Throwing them together for a PL match would be suicide.
Our defense was good enough. Imagine if Patey played in his position Fulham would have never touched the ball
Let’s go!
Speculating about the likes of Ashworth is daft. How can any of us possibly know how effective or not they are?
stop questioning the managers every decision, lets just support
You’re on your own with your cool aid
About Tierney, this was why we finished 8th twice in a row because of trust issues. He needs to have more faith in the players.
Jesus has fallen from grace. To have arrived and brought us so much excitement and becoming a liability of late is mind boggling. Such a curious case to me, cant remember the last arsenal player to do that
Hi Charles,
Think it was really apparent that playing a right footed LB, LCM & LW in the same side hurt the lefthand side.
The reason a lot of people like this channel is because of the non ranting & false outrage displayed on other channels & the fact these other channels participate in clickbait opinions! They are all experts on coaching from there basements ! Please don't change the output!!
Come on, man. The man who advocated for Southgate to take over at United is not the man we need leading Arsenal. Surely?
Charles, you don't need to explain about the apologist comment, personally I prefer your more balanced and rational views than the all out rants other channels have. I've stopped watching them as it drives me mad. Keep up the good work!!
Why wont any journalists just ask why Tierney is not playing, if he will never play for arsenal again?
Who is Balogan? 😂

Morning Charles and everyone.. completely agree on Tierney.. is he a terrible player all of a sudden? For heavens sake use him and leave Timber at RB…. Baffling

Arteta is the only person in the world that can't see we a real #9 and it's going to cost him his job.
Is Ashworth not a bit of a job hopper?
Not really man united was a big job then they get rid of him because to many big wigs not really his fault
@ was he not at Newcastle before that and Brighton before that? We would be the fourth league job in as many years. Unless I am mistaken.
I think KT will be sold in January so he's not going to play until he's sold.
Thank you Charles. Brilliant and incisive information as always. Dont think Ashworth would be a good fit for Arsenal. Seems to move around a lot. I would love to ask Mr. Star Man Saka if he thought that Ivan Toney would fit into our squad. It appeared he wanted to wear an Arsenal shirt. I know, "kick about with the boys" etc. May not be happy abroad and knows the Prem very well. I know dont all scream at once.
Playing Partey at Right back hurts the Team more than having Zinchenko or Tierney on the Left and Timber in his natural Position, Arteta is costing himself everything, I may not be a manager but whatever crap he is trying to do is making the Team worse, no way Partey can run around at Rightback and no way Timber can play his best Football on the Left, it's all in Arteta, we have seen managers trusting Young Players, get Josh Nichols in the Team, a natural right back, you don't always have to spend Millions, we lost Ruell Walters just coz Arteta isn't a good Talent Spotter
In Arsene we trust . Can we say the same about ARTETA after 4 years ?
Absolutely. 100%.
Couldn’t trust Arsene in the latter years before he got the boot 🤷🏽♂️
Get zinchenko, Jesus and Tierney out of the door in January and bring in a quality striker, a top winger as well as a good young lb . Havertz can deputise in the attacking midfield role and be a back up striker .
Tierney needs to play it might well help out martinelli or trossard and also give the opposition both sides will give the opponents somethink to think about
