Tom recovered a year later, moved to see his longtime friend Nova & not long afterwards fell in love with Nova, who Tom loved from the 1st day he met Nova years earlier, just as Nova had loved Tom from the 1st day she met Tom years earlier here in Canada. Tom also fell in love with America. Tom blew up in 2018 with "Dear Rappers" Tom fought, scratched & clawed his way to become successful with Nova's help of course. Already waiting for your next reaction, which should be on Helluvit. This song won't make you cry, but you will enjoy the lyrics. Beats awesome, and Nova's artistic input is good.
I can see you are wrapping your head around what it is like to understand Tom's music. The thing is he did probably cry at least once while making this song. But it is due to the fact that he lived this song and so it pours out of him so genuinely. That is what makes you actually feel the songs he does. I can respect the decision to take the Tom rabbit hole in steps. Tom is a bit much so take your time and enjoy the trip. Trust me you will be thankful you went the whole way. This is one of my favorite songs of his. I'm not a big fan of the last one rappers, but this one is just so good. When he's just full out truthful and straightforward, his songs are great.
