This LURE caught more than just Sac-a-lait (Crappie) | Multi-Species Day

Bobby Garland baby shad lures are really effective on this day catching over 5 different species including Sac-a-lait (crappie), Catfish, Bream and more. I had a lot of action between 8-11 am but bites died down around lunch time.

I have never Yak fished. That Yak seems to be very stable. Nice lil mess for the grease.

Yea i was worried about the weather messing it up .the water was not muddy at all. Used black and chart tube jig qnd crickets

Love when they all want the same thing, I was waiting for the choupique and garfish. Coulda been a Cajun slam. Not the smartest idea to have my eyes off the boiling pot, well glad it wasn’t boiling yet. Thanks for watching and look forward to more!

Went yesterday afternoon and got skunked but it was still a nice day to be on the water. Tried Five Point, Bayou Loin and North Bigeaux but didn't give the bridge a try.

Looks like a channel cat to me. Blues have more rays on their anal fin.
Either way, great eating size! Looks like a perfect day fishing.
