I love Ran man. He's the reason I didn't stop supporting the Titans... What they're doing for and with this team right now is absolutely amazing
Reason I didn’t stop supporting the Titans is because Nashville is my home but Ran is cool.
Are you being serious hes trash
Exactly!!⚔️💙
More of this please 👏 👏 👏
You Sir 🫵🏻 are a real fan ❤
Almost every draft analysis has Sweat as a C+ for 2nd round. His conditioning was terrible, loves to party, his effort is minmal, doesn't love football, never plays 3 snaps in a row, & dont forget the dwi a few weeks ago. 2 total sacks his entire college career. One of his coaches said he constantly makes childish mistakes but doesnt have the majority to change. Just bc you are cooking doesn't mean the food is good. Facts
Ran is a real one. I imagine the conversations he had with Sweat and his family was blunt ASF! Not many people can walk into a family's house and do that.
Fills a huge need. OL and DL is where it all starts. Great pick
Great question at 9:57
And visiting the family with tough talks prior to drafting is helpful to know.
We can all agree they needed line help on both sides
Huge pick up!!
2 starters with 2 picks. Keep cooking!
I love it that they have trusted their own process of making choices, decisions and picks and are standing on them.
Them doing that builds my trust in them and their choices.
I would have traded back or picked up Kool Aid. But this pick is a shot in the dark. I hope this dude turns out to be an Albert Haynesworth for us.
I like the pick, I just hope we do address WR Brenden Rice or Tez Walker has to be a MUST HAVE tomorrow
Why not Troy Franklin?
@@sarkastic1824 I actually like Franklin, he’s just very small & frail, not a route runner, & not a YAC guy
A lot of holes to fill on the roster, they’re really thin on the D line so it makes sense. Filling needs instead of taking best available, but with that many needs you kinda have to. The drop off on the d line after Tart left last year was noticeable so I get putting priority on the position.
Room for growth.
Foundation, foundation, foundation 💪
I’m excited with what we’re doing.
My Gm and my coach great bully pick Titanup
I trust this vet on T'Vondre over Locked on Titans tears
Tyler Rowland is a certified clown. Dude just spews hot takes.
lol Tyler sad as hell 😂
@@Rrgblitz403 so true he’s got a hard job tho. Gotta keep people intrigued 330+ days a year 🤷🏽♂️
Dude is from Ohio,,he would be better suited as a pe teacher ,, locked on is NOT the greatest Titans coverage 😂😂
Im gonna miss the King
I am nervous and disappointed in this draft. Moving forward with faith in the new GM, Coach, and an owner’s new direction. Also a new conditioning staff and mentality BUT time will tell. A defense and offense in the bottom half will be the jury in this one.
I want a wide receiver
Looks tense! Ran, you being too personal!
I’m nervous…
I understand why you're nervous but you have to give them credit they tried now the players have to play they this is one off season the titans actually spent money and tried they needed line help yall
lol I feel you, but we’re in a rebuild so with not much expectation, it’s a win win. I think we did far better than I expected with the offseason and draft.
@@carlatkins83 I’m nervous because we did awesome in FA. But cutting checks seems like the easy part. Drafting is where the great GMs separate themselves. We apparently turned down 8 or 9 offers. IF Sweat works, I do love the pick.
@@carlatkins83 but you’re right. Overall our roster turnover has been amazing.
Well so far Ran has drafted a project and a 2 down DT lmao
🫵you don’t know ball
@@KennConley it's called facts and I know ball lmao
well we will see after this season but we past up some really good OT first round and second round DT
He was just sad he got caught. Fat, lazy and immature at 38 is quite the reach. That is almost a first round pick, there were so many better players on the board. As a fan, I hope he becomes a good player, but unlike him, the chances are slim.
Over drafted by 70 picks, bad character, 5 year senior with no impressive career stats, out of shape, party guy, and DUI 3 weeks ago. Tell us how impressed we should be.
No way you said bad character in sodom and America
Negative Nancy
@@enlightensean1598 it’s amazing that a society like this can even be tempted to virtue signal anyone it’s just incredible
Bro you regurgitating what you heard from Locked on Titans.
You know he won the Outland Award for the nations best interior lineman but he isn’t impressive ?
Creo que están haciendo las cosas muy mal tal parece que quieren hundir a los titanes rancarto y callahan estás haciendo todo mal
It’s boring, but you can’t go wrong trying to sure up both lines. Will it work, only time will tell, but I can’t fault what they’re trying to do
Yes we need help at D Line but we could have traded back and got a 3rd round pick and still took him
this pick is shot in the dark man
DUI 3 weeks ago. Seems like a very questionable pick. Hope I'm wrong
Sounds like you’re not a sinner . I’d love to meet you .
@ joelm4849: You're wrong. This is business. It is not corporately responsible to hire someone who (by his own admission) decides to risk the lives of others by getting behind the wheel after 3 tequila shots. Trying to cover for this fool by suggesting "we all sin" is a form of enablement.
@@ruhooah we live in a society where I hear people saying the lords name in vein every other word almost . We have the lowest levels of morality behind a mao zhedong nazi germany type society and people are massively heathens that not to mention drink like fishes . And you’re really gonna come on here and blast a college kid for drinking and get behind the wheel when I guarantee you’ve done way worse things and continue to only difference is you didn’t get caught by the police state. 💀💀💀💀
@@ruhooah amazing that this society can even begin to start virtue signaling morality is at a 1,000 year low WOW
@@ruhooah guess RUclips didn’t like what I had to say about American society anyway no one has any room to talk today
Why not take him in the 5th round?
He wasn't making it out of thr 2nd round, that's why
Because there was about to be a run on DT just like WR
Because there was 9 DT taken on day 2. Because the Bengals and Jaguars were looking to get him. Also, he was the second highest graded player that played all 3 downs (that had a one of the highest pressure rate as a DT).
@@Tony_Wes He didn't play 3 downs - stop - he played less than 35 snaps a game in his 5th year...
@@sgrunig90 if you listen to him and his coach you'll hear them say that he did play all 3 downs. They didn't take him out every 3rd down (like Derrick Henry). Did he play majority of the snaps? No but he still played some 1st, 2nd and 3rd downs.
He played 503 snaps last year and 309 of them were on passing downs. That tells me that they didn't just put him in to stop the run. His First rounder Texas teammate Byron Murphy played 438 snaps (and weighing 60lbs less) and 273 being on pass spend. That means Sweat played more snaps smart guy.
Callahan doesn't look happy
Hes running the offense, how’s he suppose to react? Go look at our depth chart as far as DT and you’ll know we needed this before a WR
Looks like a guy that hasn’t slept in a few days 😂
He literally said this was a decision they both agreed with. They both literally flew to meet Sweat at his momma house, stop trying to start $hit
@@seanmayhugh1674 facts lol he getting used to the Head Coach position tired as hell 😂
I don't know if it's just fatigue but, he dropped a comment yesterday after being asked which position Latham will play that was a bit off-putting, he seemed irritated
Dudes record in 5 yrs of college ball he hasn't done enough for 2nd rd sorry bad pick
Just meh.. cant get excited about a pick like this.. yeh he’s produced in run stopping but not much sacks and he’s underwhelming to me on highlights etc.. it would be like being hyped to get teair tart… I’m not hyped D+ grade for me. Also at that size I doubt he is an everydown player.
And who are you ? 😂😂😂
Your wrong🤣😂
Did you watch Locked on Titans?
We could have traded back and picked up a 3rd round pick and still get got this guy IMO
He had 31 pressures as a DT last year. If you watch his film ( not highlights) you'll see that he threw lineman around like trash and pressured the QB.
Amazing that Sodom and America is questioning a football players character
This duo is lost 😂😂
Bad draft pick
Why didn’t you make the pick then, GM?
False great pick we know u dint know football Titanup
A horrible pick that makes no sense from a business or risk management standpoint. How is it corporately responsible to hire a man who recently risked the lives of innocent people by deciding (by his own admission) to drive after 2-3 tequila shots? What does his personal judgment suggest about his reliability to the organization?
He's 21 years old shut the fuck up
If you watch the video, u would understand that they met with him and his family and did a deep investigation into him as a person
@@tristanmaxwell8403 They sure did. If you check other (more objective sources) regarding the investigation, you will learn about a disturbing lifestyle pattern that put him on the pathway to that DUI. This is a business decision. Investors, team underwriters, and bankers don't give a tinker's darn about familial character references. This is the real world where personnel integrity is part of the business plan. Mama and auntie saying that you are a nice young man don't cut the turkey for people running a $4.5 billion corporation.
Classic morality police, is your family perfect and never made a mistake like this? If not then shattap
@@StephMcGrady-ig7ws Calm down son. I know this is difficult for you to understand, but this is an intellectual business argument based on the real world. Who said anything about morals or perfection? The Titans are a $4.5 billion dollar company. There are over 12,000 applicants for this position from the college ranks. The issue is sustaining a business model based on investment reliability from a personnel standpoint. Try making your emotional argument to a board of financiers, advertisers, bankers, and investors. Being defensive and mad don't cut the turkey. If this young man is on the street in two years with his silver bling teeth and drinking problem, the Titans will have to absorb the financial impact of hiring someone to take his place.
