Great video, thanks for uploading, question if I add a 3rd NIC and put a wireless router there can I use this linux box as a gateway and it will use LACP?
Hello, at 1:12 you paste code with defined eth0 and eth1, but bond-mode is set to 4. As I know, 4 means that you are trying to bond 4 NIC's, but you defined only two.
false, There are many types of network bonding and number 4 is just a type: mode=0 (balance-rr) mode=1 (active-backup) mode=2 (balance-xor) mode=3 (broadcast) mode=4 (802.3ad) mode=5 (balance-tlb) mode=6 (balance-alb) read more under the "mode" in the bonding driver options here >> www.kernel.org/doc/Documentation/networking/bonding.txt
