Be Important that this concept video is just fictional. This is NOT an actual/real OS or software so there is no ISO or Installation files for this OS.

one could make this out of Linux with something like Hyprland and a custom launch bar, menu, and some reskinned applications for the environment, like settings and the file browser.
@@supercellex4D with hyprland? sure as hell is possible but it’s not just any user can do that, nautilus doesn’t get close to the file manager, what else could someone do? make their own file manager?

unfortunately the real thing will not look like that. what you're seeing here is a 3D rendering. microsoft did the same thing with windows 11. when the actual OS launched, it looked just like a flat win10, despite them showing those smooth glass-like renderings looking like 60fps in demo previews.

this looks amazing, are you considering doing linux mockups based on existing desktop environments or even a new one, or if u have the capability to do, why not make a desktop environment with the help of other developers to make one

Very nice. It'd be cool if Windows had launchers like Android does. I used to skin the hell out of XP and 7 but didn't bother from 8.1 onwards. This would be a nice Linux distro too.

@@alexkhangbg The fact that Abdi does these in PowerPoint is WHY it's impressive! It looks closer to something that's actually in production. The fact that he can create something so realistic using a basic computer program accessible to just about anyone in the world demonstrates just how well he's mastered every aspect of it.
If all of your concepts would be real operating systems, id use them instead of windows 11. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!
KDE on Linux can be customised a bit like this but it does take a lot of patience to get the right look

This is a masterpiece. A design worth every penny. I'd put my money on this, it brings the feeling of Mac, Linus and Windows in one package.
If only this OS would come to life, the world would be a better place. I hope some company/communities would take up this concept and breath some life into it 😮😮

Only a company with billions of dollars in reserve can pull it off. It's not only the UI that has to be made but the kernel, applications, their own store, pulling companies for their applications support. It would take at least 20 years to polish it and create this. Not easy by any chance

@@nikhilchouhan1802such kernel already exists called seL4 which is like playdo, you can knit it into anything you want. Even NT, XNU and Linux.

I feel like I will add some pandas references into it, too. or favorite stuff from those who are enthusiastic about it or just give me new ideas.

you mean a desktop environment, the distro doesn't really affect looks at all. And yes, you can get stuff like that relatively easily

As much as I love all the Linux builds . We really need to get some working drivers for older machines say power pc
I can only add to the superlatives; what a beautiful way to interact with a computer. I can't ever see Microsoft doing this, but maybe create it in Linux. I would never go back to Windows if this existed.
it wouldn't be too hard to have something pretty similar within linux, idk about widgets but icon themes, fancy taskbars, and file managers all already exist. Something like gnome or deepin would probably have most, if not all of the things you want more or less out of the box
My knowledge of Linux is kind of shallow. I've messed around with different versions of the OS and even did some command line stuff that actually worked, but that's about it. Something that would resemble this person's work out of the box with minimal tweaking and full functionality with Steam would have me install it and give it a serious try. What version do you recommend?
@@jimflood1590 It is the desktop environment that changes how it looks, the distro has little to do with it. Out of the box, pantheon is probably the most similar, with a design inspired by both MacOS and Windows, but if you're willing to put in more effort for a better experience, KDE Plasma is more configurable and you would be able to get closer to what you want. As for the distro, anything like Debian or Arch or something lets you choose, but they may be a little difficult. Pantheon comes preinstalled as the only option on ElementaryOS, and distros like Fedora and Ubuntu have options for KDE. (KDE spin, Kubuntu). I don't recommend ubuntu, for a few reasons, so depending on how confident you are choose Debian with KDE, Fedora KDE spin, or ElementaryOS. Keep in mind I have not tried many distros or desktop environments, so take this with a grain of salt

It really is beyond me that, with all the money and designers and developers that world-controlling computer software companies have (ms & apl mainly), they just give us the same recycled garbage over and over. Why can't we have futuristic, useful, aesthetic interfaces like this? And why do they have to make it so damn hard to skin and customise our operating systems?
Keep up the good work! May it be seen by some folk in charge of designing windows and mac and inspire them to make something actually nice.

actually microsoft and apple have little power compared to linux. 98% of the worlds servers run linux as well as all android phones :3
Switch to Linux and you can easiliy get User Interfaces like in this Video. Plus you can customize absolutely everything

Man nice concept. It's remind me a bit with FydeOS but looks more powerful and rich feature.
The idea of the start menu being a sort of "central hub" is great, they sort of succeeded with the windows 10 start menu, but it was too watered down.

If you ever get it to be 100% compatable with Windows software, then you'll have a winner right there. Windows has the biggest market share of any OS on the planet and to not offer 100% compatability with it would be a shame, because this concept looks really nice and efficient.

Kudos for such a wonderful video. The thing is, there are already operating systems in the world that with a little bit of customization, looks ways more beautiful than this. You know what they say: "Microsoft will give you windows but Linux will give you whole house". With linux OS only your imagination is your limit when it come to beauty. My KDE Neon looks somewhat similar with its glassy blur windows to everything in between.
