I was on the road in Iceland for two weeks in October 2018. It was a fantastic time. I can recommend Iceland to every Landscape Photographer. Special thanks to my mother Elisabeth, who was on the way with me.

Cameras: Sony A7RIII, A7SII and Mavic 2 Pro (4K Footage has been upscaled to 8K)
Lenses: Sony Zeiss 16-35mm f4, Laowa 15mm f2
Motion-Control: Rhino Motion Slider
It is important to know is that 4K monitors also benefit from the fantastic sharpness of 8K Video. When you watch 8K video on a 4K monitor, the full 4K sharpness potential is used!
That's why it makes sense to produce 8K videos even today.

To see the film in 8K: The 8K resolution must be selected in the cogwheel itself. The cogwheel can be found at the bottom right of the video window.
1. click on the gear, 2. click on quality, 3. choose the desired resolution
The Chrome Browser is best optimized for 8K RUclips video playback. The Safari browser on the Mac does not support 4K and 8K resolutions. A smartphone usually only supports FullHD.

I have never been in Iceland yet, but it's very high on our bucketlist... Hopefully, if the situation will allow, we'd like to make a trip there this summer...

your videos are the most clear 8k i have seen on youtube. using a UP3218K monitor can truely tell how good your video is. looks like time lapse 8k is better than 8k video cameras in my opinion. looking forward to see more 8k from you.

Thank you for your comment. RUclips supports 8K but not all browsers support the VP9 codec. Only with VP9 is 4K and 8K available. And yes, you need a fast internet connection for 8K...
