Lol yeah exactly
One additional tip for painting, if you right click (or press left trigger on console) with the paint gun out you can switch to “secondary color” mode. This allows you to have different color combinations on your mech (like white with red accents, etc.).

do the “resources” that are restored count as like trees and rocks or like collectables?

how does one get the multitool mech arms?
Unsure but I'd say its probably from the merchant after a while. The merchant sells better items as time goes by with your progress
This game reminds me of Suits on love death robot, it just needs the wild aliens attack cattle that ya need to defend.. all it needs is a little action like that and it’s a perfect match

Hands down my favorite episode was suits, and if I could have a farm sim game with that type of protect your farm defense style, man Oh man. Just take my money now lol
Feed the animals the will dig through the day and dig up random items if you feed the nest they won't dig but you'll get the resources to respawn filling extra nodes

This game and terra tech worlds for the most part just plops you in the game. I like that. I did not know about the fodder for resources

Yes in the build mode there's an dissemble option
If you use the help me I'm stuck option in the menu it'll respawn you and change the weather!

Why are the oil presses not under a shed?

Built out for emphasis but yeah could have been smarter about the setup
so i need copper to unlock the upgrade to remove the weeds. but the area that has the copper has the weeds so nothing spawns lol!
Edge cliff? i was able to revive it without needing upgrades

i was looking forward to this game, but it was pretty disappointing overall.

@@ConCon I'm coming from astroneer, grounded, and No man's sky. Light-year frontier is a super simplistic game. I was expecting a bigger world, possibly traveling to other planets, some light combat, some kind of threat of harm, but sadly that's not the case. The story is bland, I wanted more than just vacuuming things and washing away slime to restore areas. I expected the mech to be a cool tool with unique abilities, but it turns out it's nothing more than a vacuum, a hose, and saw. Honestly the mech was hugely disappointing. It didn't bring anything new or do anything better than previous games I've played .
The most annoying thing about the game is that you cannot save at anytime, you lose your current days progress. I was far away from base when I wanted to save and quit, but because of that I ran all the way back to my base to go to sleep and save to not lose my progress.
Lastly in the vault there are mechanics that you don't use in the game until this point, and it doesn't give you any clue how to use it.
I wanted an auto watering system even if you can't get it until late in the game, but I didn't see one.
I probably had unrealistic expectations, but still disappointed.
