All the dislikes... you can bet they've never been out doors in their lives and probably think rabbits are born from Easter eggs. Love the sound of the beagles... "doing what they were created to do". Some of these beagles live like really good race horses, very well cared for. And in ARHA events, the rabbits are unharmed,.. though a bit exercised for that day. My daddy had a beautiful beagle named Queeny. She loved to hunt and all the neighborhood men wanted her pups. She would always do exactly as she was told, and always left when told. My daddy fed us with those beagles, there were eleven of us. She lived to hunt.
It's OK that not everybody likes them. Always going to have people with different opinions and I respect that. These dogs are treated like part of our family. The rabbit dictates how the run goes. If he does not want to play then he just runs to the hole. We do have a hunting season but kill very few rabbits. For us it's about the dogs running the rabbit. Yes they are track dogs. They are supposed to bark when they smell track. The dog with the better nose will be able to smell the rabbit when others can't If they are not on the line where the rabbit went they should not be barking.

I’m actually a lot more OK with this than I am with fox hunting. They are chasing a natural quarry which if caught will not be wasted. I’ve never been comfortable with the idea of training canines to hunt each other, or the methods used to condition hounds in that direction. It just seems a perversion of nature. I’ve followed a beagle pack in Yorkshire and love watching these little fellows at work, which is far more visible to followers than with fox hunting; their noses are phenomenal. It’s quite amusing when they reach an obstacle that’s too high and the followers pitch in to help lift them over it! Fox hunting is an equestrian thrill but beagling is for true hunting enthusiasts who like to see hounds work. And get a good days exercise in the process!
I will say this for the 1000th time, don't chase or try to cut off the rabbit dummies, don't walk thru the woods just stand still on the track and spread out. Rabbits have great ears and will range out on you if the see movement or hear talking. Find the track and stay quiet and the dogs will run them back to you. The old guys knows what the hell they're doing that is why he gets the rabbits
Thanks for watching. I hope you will subscribe and hit the bell for notifications. Will be In Nantucket and Cape May next week for some actual rabbit hunting.
Need some other breeds in the mix. Use hounds to find the initial sent and other dogs go for the kill. All the howling is blowing their cover and they move too slow

It’s quite amusing when they reach an obstacle that’s too high and the followers pitch in to help lift them over it! Fox hunting is an equestrian thrill but beagling is for true hunting enthusiasts who like to see hounds work. And get a good days exercise in the process!

the tails :D happy dogs
They love what they do.
So they never found the rabbit huh ??
They never lost him. The dogs ran him for hours and the shooters missed him several times. The dogs did their part.
You have for sale pupies love beagles
Marco Garcia sorry no pups for sale.

Thanks for watching... ruclips.net/user/mcardery2k
They are such a quiet bunch.
Awesome Sound!!
We love it.
Good video. Those dogs know their job. :-)
They get tons of running with me retired.
They love their work.
That's great advice if you are wanting to be all about killing rabbits. You probably don't get it but a lot of us are all about the dogs.
Love the “chop” and “bawl”
Thanks for watching. I hope you will subscribe and hit the bell for notifications. Will be In Nantucket and Cape May next week for some actual rabbit hunting.
The Beagles.
Music to my ears
Thanks
Need some other breeds in the mix. Use hounds to find the initial sent and other dogs go for the kill. All the howling is blowing their cover and they move too slow
Sorry you did not enjoy it.
@@mcardery2k no I did! Sorry if my comment sounded negative
Thanks
Nice race

Wish I knew what the secret to the popularity of this video.
was this just a pleasure run?
I think it was hunting season but we did not take guns that day.
+Mark Carder You ever look at your RUclips analytics on this? I bet it ranks really well on RUclips or even Google for a popular hunting phrase. The thumbnail looks good and it's pretty engaging. I think this URL will work for you, but I can't see anything because it's your account. I just took one of my videos and replaced my video id with yours: ruclips.net/user/analytics?o=U#dt=nt,fe=16820,fr=lw-001,fs=16793;fcr=0,fi=v-v0a6jM7PALg,r=trafficsources
Yes I do and thanks for the reply. I keep track of all my stuff. The money
used to be pretty good on RUclips until the made me sign the last contract.

I was really glad to see the video of the drone but jealous at the same
time. I was hoping my wife could get back to work soon. I have been reading
about them for a long time now. I was hoping to have one and have some
experience with it by trial season but it was not meant to be. It made for
a entertaining video. As for this video I have so many more videos that
are way more entertaining. There has to be something that causes them to
get views I am missing.
