    • @DJGodaryD86
      @DJGodaryD86 4 года назад +13

      @@exalmer14 Might be a thing today but at the start Han had the most experience the technology and the juiceflow to make things actually work. Mike learned a lot along the way throughout the years of their carreer from individuals and their producers but overall it was mostly a group effort. Mike picked up well enough knowledge to make his own things for sure but isn't anything we already didn't hear. I personally am self thought and like to experiment with tech also had similar individuals working with me who had zero knowledge, knew few chords on a instrument and that is it, then when they saw things that I did they simply repicated it and later when those folks gained success they didn't even bothered to leave a special thanks or a simple thanks to me who actually made them possible in the first place. Or call me up and say hey lets do something together and share the made money, since they know the majority would go to me since they are cluieless, so nope not a word about it, but they did wanted to leech more off of me and many others they could. I could easily even sue these when they used things that sound like my compositions but then again they went off the radar so it's a waste of time and effort to do so. Some did pay their respect and I still to this day stayed in contact but there were hackjobs who didn't and learned to ignore them also learned very early on not to work with anyone who is like that and ditch them entierly at the very start. Mike seems like a nice guy and even he said it's a group effort but still reminds me enough of the mentioned.

    Remember when people called him a sellout for not sticking with this sound after Meteora, now we realize they just weren’t even on his level musically to understand that the reason Mike wanted to change was because this style of music was way too easy & no challenge! So he decided to go against what everyone wanted to challenge himself to sound different from anything else you heard at the time. That’s innovation right there.

    I both love and hate the fact that people only start to realise what Linkin Park truly was only after we’ve lost Chester. Why couldn’t everyone have understood this before? Maybe something would have been different. But we can’t change what happened, so I’m kind of glad people are changing their minds now at the very least. I’ve always and will always be a huge fan of LP. I grew up with them and they will always be what made me love music.

    For the longest time I was in the "Give me another Meteora/Hybrid Theory camp. I thought Minutes to Midnight, Thousand Suns, Living Things, Hunting Party were all disappointing. But then I realized I was disappointed because I expected to get what I thought Linkin Park was. But got something completely different. And as I return to those albums, I realize how amazing the music is, how brilliant the production is. Yes it's different.
    But look at Breaking Benjamin...
    People change as artists. Tastes change. Influences change. Why would anyone want to write the same shit everytime. Linkin Park got it done the first time then moved on to the next thing. Respect.

    • @MareQueen
      @MareQueen 4 года назад +6

      well true but i dont like mainstream or pop, normal rock anymore, music makes difference its not lyrics only, actually LP got me into metal because thats the type of music i liked most and made me feel songs lyrics even more and i always look for special songs and best i dont follow certain bands, LP was the only band i always listen to their new songs without hesitating or picking.
      up to Hunting Party was fine for me i never had issue, i know they wanted to completely change in one more light and try different things and follow new generation but im not into that type of music, i liked lyrics but the music wasnt working for me to feel them, its taste and the way we feel song so i cant force myself to like it.
      i was hoping they would do another version or demo for old fans who love metal and alternative even for fun no need for big clean record but sadly we lost Chester :(
