- In this video I go over the process of installing g3a add-ins on CASIO fx-CG50 graphing calculators. This type of program is used for the majority of games and also a number of other useful tools.
CORRECTION: since uploading this, I have found a functional version of Doom for this calculator. Find out more here: • Doom on the CASIO fx-C...
Default add-ins: education.casi...
Cemetech: www.cemetech.net/
CASIO Prism add-ins: www.cemetech.n...
Popular and useful add-ins:

Prizoop (Gameboy Colour emulator): www.cemetech.n...

Important note: this video does not cover the installation of g3p programs. While the process is similar, these files must go in @MainMem/PROGRAM. They can then be accessed via the “Program” mode on the main menu. These types of programs are generally more functional, offering useful shortcuts for performing common calculations.
Thanks alot.
You're welcome! I'm glad you find it useful.
good vid
Hello sir I followed the steps and got the photos onto my calculator but when I converted them from png to jpeg the photos are so zoomed in on my calc how do I do it so that they aren’t zoomed in and normal to view?
Good vid btw!
Use an online tool like imageresizer.com/ to make the images smaller before adding them to the calculator.
Thank you sir I’m on image re sizer what width and height should I select on the calc so that I can view it the best?
I'm not sure which values will work best - you may need to test multiple sizes. I've also realised that you should be able to zoom in and out of pictures using the + and - keys. That might be easier than this method.
In the Fx-Cg50, it is possible to change from color to black and white??
I don't think so. Sorry
in my fx cg50, in memory manager F3 is missing (import/export) how can i install F3 again ?
What about when the cable is plugged in? What happens then?
how about CAS?
(that the most expensive Texas-Instruments & HP Calculators have got)
Which is:
The school-serious & important "high-end feature", to solve equations! ...
Is there an app/program for this?
Yes there is. It's called KhiCAS. www.cemetech.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14888&start=0
can you show how to add khicas?
You can download the g3a file from here: www-fourier.ujf-grenoble.fr/~parisse/casio/khicasen.g3a
You can then install it as shown in the video.
@@bongo50_thanks!
When I plug it in it doesn’t load up on my pc
@@usmaniftkhar3561 what shows up on your calculator screen when you plug it in? What type of computer (Windows/Mac/Linux) do you have?
@@bongo50_ Nevermind was a faulty wire and what is a root folder I heard u mention it in another video. Cos whenever u download doom it doesn’t pop up on my calculator
My screen turned completely white, did i do smthng wrong?
At what point in the process did it turn white? Is it still white? If so, use a pencil to press the reset button on the back of the calculator and see if that helps
@@bongo50_ when i opened the game i downloaded on my calculator
Where to find cable
It should have been included in your calculator's box
How can you add images onto the calc for example pmt notes etc?
You can use the image viewer add-in. You can download this from cemetech.net/downloads/files/1153/x1153 and then install it using the process described in this video. Then, take your images and place them in the root folder of your calculator. You should then be able to view them with this add-in. Let me know if you need any more help.
Oh thank you once i download the image download on the calc how do i get it so that its on my calc and how do i add images like onto which folder etc?
To get the images on your calculator, plug the calculator into a computer and copy the images into the calculator’s root folder (e.g. directly into the calculator and not inside any subfolders) in exactly the same way you would install a .g3a add-in file as I show in this video.
@@bongo50_ yo bro do you have Instagram because every time I try do it I face something different
Is there anywhere that i can find the oregon trail game for this model of calculator?
I don't think so. I've found one for the TI-84 Plus CE but that's a completely different make and model of calculator.
is khicas essential for a level? or will the default calculator work fine
Absolutely not. In fact, you can't use Khicas in A level exams as it has features that are explicitly banned. It can be useful for checking in homeworks, particularly in further maths, as long as you put your calculator in exam mode for exams, but you don't need it at all. The default calculator is completely fine.
bro where i can find the disequation addin of casio cg50 , the official ?
Sorry, I've never heard of this add-in
@@bongo50_ ok thanks , good video
Hi how do i get the images add in(
Do you mean an image viewer add-in? You can download it from cemetech.net/downloads/files/1153/x1153 and then install it using the process described in this video.
Is that The images add in on the main menu next to Physium?
Yes, if I remember correctly, it is.
@@bongo50_ thanks you 🙏
@jxedn You're welcome. I'm always happy to help.
is it possible to add images to your calculator? and if so where could i learn on how to upload images to mu casio cg50 from my computer
Yes it is. May I ask for a few more details of your specific use case? What do you want to use the images for? Your answer will affect the exact method.
Can I do integrals with this?
By default, it can evaluate definite integrals for curves given explicitly as y=.... You can also find approximate integrals and areas for most things that you can graph. It is possible to install an add-in that lets you find indefinite integrals but this would not be available in exam mode.
The add ins dont show up
Did you definitely put the files into the calculator? Have you disconnected the cable properly?
@@bongo50_ nvm its all in
Yo bro do you have insta by any chance because I keep trying to install the add one but something else comes up
I do but it's a private account for friends only. If you have Discord, I'm happy to use that, or otherwise email works.
