    Im glad women are catching up. I've been off the dating apps for more than 10 years. I been knew it was some bs, its boring and the men were the worst. I met my love at work and aside from liking him, i knew he had a clearance and a background check to be there. Half the battle was done lol

    • @mariedelaurentiis
      @mariedelaurentiis 17 дней назад +6

      @jessitabonita lol it can work. Truly half the battle is trying to vet these men to make sure they're not insane and I already know these apps don't run any background checks to ensure the safety of the women that use them.
      Where I work, you have to undergo a full background investigation to be employed there. I do encourage women, if they can, to investigate these men.
      I don't encourage all women to date men they work with because people can still be immature as we know lol but it can work out and you'd feel better about it not being someone super random who was convicted of crimes or something crazy.

    Never used bumble or any other sleezy dating apps, however, I am confused.
    If bumble was supposed to be this "woman empowerment" thing where women get to "make the first move", now all of a sudden they're "burdened" by that? What exactly was the point of making an app that women were going to feel "burdened" by/with?
    Secondly, how the hell is celibacy, abstinence/virginity, asexual, etc. - a "punishment" to men? I saw a video of some dude parked in his car saying celibacy was a "punishment to men!" So...if men don't want women with a "high body count", when they themselves have high body counts:
    1. wouldn't f***in' a woman CONTRIBUTE to her body count? 🤔
    2. wouldn't being a virgin/celibate = no/low body count? 🤔 Thus, also equalling women "keeping their legs shut"? 🤔
    3. when women and girls keep their legs shut, why exactly are they mad? 🤔
    Lastly, why does being "sex positive" have to equal talking about sex and announcing sexual things you like, to people who didn't consent to that? Its almost similar like a guy sending a "D" picture without permission!

    • @laurennelson3918

    • @silversilk8438
      @silversilk8438 17 дней назад +4

      Merissa, such good points! One, two, three strikes and their whole worldview just crumbled.
      I think the reason is: Different guys say different things, hence society’s contradictory messages. Also, for those guys who want open legs, I think it’s
      1. Influenced by porn, where they choose what they want based on their own lusts, and the woman can’t say no.
      2. Entitlement. These below bare-minimal effort men feel entitled to the best while putting in the least. It’s a mindset of selfishness…
      3. Being flat out unworthy and knowing it. And that’s why I’m not on the market for selfish men, and am very much celibate. The right guys will be okay with that. The wrong guys know they don’t deserve that and while they may be looking to “conquer” I will probe their shallowness and reject them. The only guys I’ll look at are the ones committed to cherishing their woman and being responsible for their own actions. Bur of course, even with that, being wary of lovebombing.

      I'm asexual and a virgin, and I plan to remain a virgin until I pass on from this world, not only because I have no interest in having se,x but because I see that it's not worth it. What men think about that is worth less than what I flush down the toilet every day because at least that served a purpose at some point. They hate us whether we give or don't.

    • @redleeks6253
      @redleeks6253 7 дней назад

      I explain: Men want some women to be promiscuous to make them easier to f*ck them and release their balls BUT them don't want the women they desire as having a big body count.
      Men see women as objects so lets use the cars example. A man who just needs a low cost or free ride from point A to point B won't mind pay for a uber who has taken thousands of passangers, he doesn't even mind if its a good new car or not, he just wants to pay (little) fot that specific ride that he needs to satisfy his ponctual need of going from point A to point B.
      Now, men who want to buy a car, want an expensive car, a car with status and a car with 0 miles, brand new. Ofc not them all can afford it, and some might buy a bugatti in 2nd or 3rd hand (others dont have to know) and if they cant buy a porsche or Bugatti they might still bebok with an average car with 0 miles. And ofc the guys who cant afford uber or expensive cars will ride a 3rd hand old fiat punto and not treat it very well, just while it's serving him the man will keep it (placeholder women).
      Hope my explanation was helpful. Always remember that men don't see women as humans like them but objects to serve them, like cars, and not all cars are the same even if they all do the same function.

While here I am, having been in multiple months to years long relationships, where I've been celibate & they... find a way (rt or left hand) or do without. Good guys with some self-discipline don't need sex for intimacy, but most of the dusties have ONLY that on their mind bc their life is the opposite of rich or emotionally mature.

Good guys are out here and I don’t think a lot of them are on dating apps or social media in general. Bad men are simply the loudest but i have bodily autonomy. I can choose to only give myself to a man deserving and that’s what i’m going to do. Self control is attractive.

      @NovaPrincess 17 дней назад

      What's scary about this ad is that it implies any and every woman on the app is- or should be- open to sex which is insane, especially given that this trash app is publicly traded. It's prostitution, and women have to pay in time and sometimes hyper-inflated membership for the 'experience' of allowing males access unpaid!! They are selling gamified access to women's bodies. Their goal is to shame women who aren't giving bodily access whether they're on the app or not, too. It's horrifying. Moreover, it does subtily target the youth who haven't lived long enough to truly understand the benefits of celibacy in a world intent on stealing women's bodily autonomy. The ad is pressuring women who remain on the app; it's the ol' 'grape' culture pressure of 'Well why are you on the app if you're not willing to have ... with strange males? Why did she wear those clothes? Why did she go to his house? Why did she leave the house? Why wasn't her door locked?' For any woman celibate, they're saying you're a fool for trying to be, that includes teens mind you. Sick, sick ad! It's pure propaganda.
