Synopsis:
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, gives an electrifying performance as Samar Anand, a hard working young immigrant in the city of London, where he glimpses upon the love of his life, a gorgeous angelic looking girl, (Katrina Kaif). They meet and their bond blossoms into love with time spent together. Samar however meets with a serious accident, and Meera vows to God she will leave Samar forever if He allowed him to live again, their love affair ends as quickly as it began.
Samar angered with God and fueled with his love for Meera, declares War against Him. Samar Anand vows to walk into the jaws of death everyday as a challenge to God to keep him alive. He becomes Major Samar Anand in the Indian Army, a bomb disposal chief, defusing bombs without ever wearing a bomb suit. The last film of legendary Yash Chopra. The era of true romance and love died after him and this film. Although this isn't his best work but still a good ending for his career.
I was 12 back then... used to listen challa, jiya re, heer and other songs from this film on 9xm. This was released on deewali. Truly last year of my life as child. ❤

I don't get it. Why so many dislikes? The movies was the bomb diggity to me. Watched it twice. On another post when SRK was in a recent interview I was shocked to see how many people no longer want to see romantic movies at all...is that a state of the world and not just India? This is not a sappy love story but one with real issue and hurts and pains. Resolve and learning from mistakes...that is real love. Sad to me people do not want to see real angst. I like action, superheroes and things blowing up too but a good romance story never hurt. Excellent movie.

Irrespective of what others think and say, I can say proudly that the movie was really good. I would love watching it again and again. Just picture perfect performances by SRK, katrina and anushka and good direction by yash ji well complemented by the background score by R Rehman...Overall a true classic love story to be enjoyed and cherished JAB TAK HAI JAAN!!!

I remember how much of an impression this trailer made on. A fan of SRK ever since I could fully pronounce his name, I was beyond excited for this movie after seeing the trailer. It's Ok not classy like his movies Veer Zaara, DTPH etc. Story was a bit annoying and the should have choosen someone better for the role of Meera.

The movie is also released in Canada. I went to watch it today with my friends &it's really good. One of the best bollywood movie. All the songs r rocking & especially the dance of katrina & SRK is amazing!!!!! Great movie :)

i've just finished watching JTHJ and i'm really moved by the intensity of love that the movie brings .it's diffirents from other yash movies and that's what makes it beautiful .there are a lot of scenes that overwhelmed me or made me cry .it's a passionate love story that warmed my heart aand i have to admit that shahrukh made it soulful.the only negative point : it's a bit long .
