What a weird video LOL. 13 minutes of my life I'll never get back. I'm not sure how you can have a "downfall" of a game that is only 9 months old. Comparing that to Minecraft, that's been out for 15 years, is just silly. Based on your math, there's been a grand total of 4 updates (which is a lot in 9 months) , but that is somehow enough to judge all future updates? There's nothing to do...except buld...in a Lego game...🤔 Saying that you can only stick to specific builds only points out your lack of creativity, and a basic search, which would show you tons of creative things people have made. And lastly, I've purchased 2 of the sets and plan to purchase more, plus purchased them for my 17 yo daughter. Tons of people have, which, again, a basic video search would have shown.
So chapter 5 was a introduction to a new way to play what if chapter 6's introduction is making the game better like fixing the locker, adding og fortnite as a mode, making a story mode for quests, fixing item shops, and bugs

I played Lego Fortnite (after not playing it since it first came out) during the starwars event to get the free Lego kits (I did not get the premium pass). I enjoyed having an actual objective the Starwars caves were fun and challenging. I got satisfaction from upgrading my base and unlocking free Lego Kits. But after I completed the pass and did all the challenges I stopped playing. It’s good for easy XP though.

Lego has at least 20k consistent player’s rocket racing has only 6k. lego and stw are pretty similar in player count rocket and festival fell off way harder

So there is a point 👉 But regardless of that, as long as epic wants to push rocket racing over lego there's gonna be issues. Rocket racing had like 8k players at max an thays during peak times. Lego has way more than that, like 8 to 10 times more than that on average. An yet epic loves to push rocket racing for somw unknown godly reason. Like seriously the majority of every day the highest player count I see us 5k in rocket racing. Lego, has anywhere from 25k to 45k on average an usually around 50 to 60k at night 🌙. But here's epic: let's give rocket racing not 1 not 2 but 3 3 different sets of event rewards all going on at the same time. . . For players to earn. Like why?? They have speed run event that's going on with some rewards. They have champions road tie in event going on for cosmetic rewards And they have a season event called inferno Island for some cosmetic rewards. And they have some beware promotion for a new free car decal if you download rocket league swipe going on. Not to mention if you buy the crew pass you get rocket league pass for free. But you gotta download an play a completely different game just to get the goods on that. Like seriously?? Why not give us festival pass instead with crew, or lego pass with crew?? A pass that's in game, something players can enjoy in game. Imo how epics doing things currently is really messed up. An you don't even wanna know about how Epic basically killed its rocket league community just to bring rocket racing to fortnite In the first place. That's a ugly story 😕. 5:00 Minecraft development being used as a comparison to Lego Fortnite is weird, it took YEARS for the ender dragon to launch, also minecraft had a long beta test duration which makes sense for it to look like a full game during its launch Lego Fortnite is rushed compared to minecraft, one year to a game which is just one segment from fortnite is such a short time to be a game that you will be playing for 600 hours and still find something to do. Also, even without the same amount of updates then BR, it still have more updates over time then minecraft, nowadays minecraft take a year to add a bee... I prefer lego Fortnite for now

You have to remember that minecraft started exactly how Lego Fortnite has, with basic stuff to do, the updates for minecraft were far between and there were no actual goals at the beginning apart from upgrading armour, mining and building.

Huge Double Standard in this. Minecraft took years and several largescale updates before they added any proper Endgame like the EnderDragon. Lego Fortnite has not even been out for a full year yet. Game Development doesn’t happen overnight. Although Epic Games hasn’t given it the love I would have wanted them to give it, they’ve done pretty good so far despite the circumstances.
Then again, Minecraft was being shipped as a beta back then and had the ender dragon by its actual full release. This is being shipped as the full game.
People wouldn't have these problems if it was a beta, but this isn't a beta, so it should be compared to minecraft on its full release, which had more than lego fortnite does.
Lego Fortnite likely started development mid 2022 if talks about a multiverse started then since Donald Mustard left because of that stuff. Which means Lego might've had 18 months of development time to Minecrafts 27 months, while Minecraft might've taken longer, it also had around maybe a dozen people when Indie games we're barely taking off. Lego, too Minecraft Beta 1.0 is a bit worse because the Nether was added a month or 2 before Beta. But 10 months later, a month after minecrafts full release time window, and it has little to show for it, because the Lego devs are likely stretch to making lego sets, additions that ultimately recycle the gameplay loop Lego currently has, and restrictions to make Lego run on all platforms(which while yes Bedrock is this, Minecraft back then didn't need to worry as much because they didn't need to focus on parity for Pocket and Xbox360/PS3). Lego Fortnite just sucks, because even Beta 1.0 of Minecraft does better because its building system, artstyle, and gameplay loop are just barely better.

The funny thing is, LEGO Fortnite was the reason why I fully dove into Fortnite. I played the mode for a good couple months until it fell off for me and then transitioned into only playing Zero Build and Festival now
yeah but its not easy to. I did find it somewhat fun but in some cases due to the grid not being large enough it was much harder to place things in a way that looks good.
I’m hopeful for this game, if they continue with updates and maybe add an end goal (like defeating the ender dragon) even if the updates after the storm wild enemies one are lackluster, I am eagerly waiting for the Halloween update after Fortnite RUclipsrs glaze klombo and milk every atom of it’s return in the klombo update
I disagree, you can build anything, the system that organises the brick you use is dumb, I see fences in the wall section, same with gates (refer to the free wastelander blueprint), I feel we are missing a ton of builder bricks, and that limits what you build. The kits needed a skin per kit, yes it's a skin that lures you in to buy it then you will find how neat it is to build with these new bricks. I just wanted to be a wizard building a wizard tower but I don't have a wizard skin and the kit didn't include one... so very disappointment. Also an Lego Dreamz crossover would be sick.
About the new Dimension you're wanting, months ago there were leaks of Rift-based weapons and titanium tools and those came from a new dimension seen in the Roadmap of Fortnite Updates as the Dark Forest. Some speculate there would be some sort of goal in that dimension update as it is during the time of Fortnightmares (October) And while it was super obvious that a Marvel LEGO Story for LEGO Fortnite would have been expected with BR getting a Marvel season, no idea why they didn't even considered adding Marvel stuff. I still really have hope for this game because despite all the hate for it, the reason people say it sucks is because the game is still on it's beginning days. Think of how Minecraft used to have 2 blocks and all you have to do is run around and place and destroy blocks, until the Nether was added in 2010 and End in 2011 when it finally had a goal, 2 years after Minecraft was made. Minecraft didn't start with a mini boss or a big end goal. I'm hoping LEGO Fortnite just follow the same path like Minecraft did, with the after-mentioned Dark Forest being it's own spin of the Nether will be positive sign that it is following the path that Minecraft did.

I think there is much more potential for Lego Fortnite. You want to compare it to Minecraft... Minecraft has been around 15 years... Lego Fortnite has only been around 9 months. Look back at Minecraft in 2009... It was very very basic. Ender Dragon came out years later. Give it time. Lego Fortnite will get bigger.
Full Release Minecraft is the better comparision, because its possible Lego started mid chapter 3(27 months ago), and yeah, Minecraft is alot better here. But if you wanna say this game started development with Chapter 4? Even Beta 1.0 is better(Beta 1.0 started 18 months after Minecraft was created), core gameplay is solid with blocks being both the world and building material makes building much easier, and if you want to get into complex mechanics after aquiring the best tools? fiddle around with the side projects like Redstone, Nether travel, and Minecarts.
Unfortunate that you compared to Minecraft for progress, as someone who played since beta, at the same time after release, they did not have anything that you listed. The furthest you could accomplish is diamond and maybe a mega base. That said every other point feels kinda solid I’d just like to only counter your context for updates being small but frequent fells like a tad extreme as Minecraft has advantages that Lego can’t. Mainly they always have to drip feed as it needs to have something to get you back as Minecraft had a similar problem in beta, though they do need to have occasional impactful drops like how it was during beta Minecraft as the new monsters and biomes. So they have to start going this direction eventually.
Personally I love the game. Its a lot of fun running around and exploring. Yeah, it can be a bit samey at times but the updates when they happen bring fun stuff. Its fun if you make it fun. Like others have said, you can build anything, you just have t practice and practice. Same as in BR or Minecraft itself. If you did some looking around theres a bunch of people making wicked buildings and vehicles. Rome wasnt built in a day as they say

this mode is still at the beginning w less than 1 years of life, not every epic dev is working on lego they need to put more stuff to make more interessing to play in a long term minecraft is easier to code than fortnite lego, everyone can literally make a mod in under an hour
People were calling this mode the "Minecraft killer" with a straight face? Even if this mode was god tier it never would have killed Minecraft. It plays closer to Valheim than it does Minecraft, which isn't a bad thing of course, but Minecraft has so much that this mode could just never have had.

I lost my entire world to a bug in the game that epic knows about, and even though I have bought all the Lego kits, they still ignored me threatened me with terms of services and did nothing to help. There is no support on this game.

Minecraft mods are completely free. Unless you mean the minecraft shop which isnt even for the main version of minecraft. Also its not made by the actual company. It is slightly unfair to be SO critical towards this game for reasons. It's free, it's part of a bigger game and it's live service so the time argument is kind of bad. I feel like they need to quit that feature where you can’t enter another biome unless you have a certain potion. Ex Snowy biome with a winter potion & desert with a heat potion. It blocks you from exploring the world. Isn’t that the main point of the game? Exploring and surviving. But overall I think it’s a fun mode

To me the game mode needs to add some more special pizzazz, 1. given how building is just simple in the game mode I feel like it needs to have in single snot bricks added in to make builds less reliant on glitches for pieces to connect each other at different angles. 2. Add in a different enemy faction to roam to the world since the game actually has the Empire, Ruffians, and skeletons roaming about they could just add in the last reality related enemies in there(husks, mist monsters, Cube Legion monsters(Fiends and their variants, Brutes and their variants, and the caretakers) the cube monsters( Cube Fiends and their variants and Cube Brutes and their variants), the kymeras, the ZyrZxx Destructo-droids and trespassers( and their Elite counterpart).
The live event in the star wars collab was neat. It reminded of the very first live event in br, when the sky craked an in came the explorer. Only it was the Star Wars ships fighting and crashing. Very cool to have been a part pf both first live events in both modes. Hoping theres more like that in the future

1.Lost isles just came out and 2. THIS is NOT a terraria like. Thats likensaying minecraft should be like terraria it doesn’t work. Amd honestly this is better then minecraft AND the game is more geared towards children to begin with. Expert mode is hard enough(this is not a game i want elden ring or even terraria level difficulty ty very much) The game has enough content to keep me going till the next update
I think these are some of the problems, rn the way you progress way too fast to the diffrent biomes, in minecraft there is so much to do in the overworld and you CAN go to the nether in 10 - 20 minutes BUT you wont experience everything in the overworld. in lego every starter biome recourse you need is wood and stone wich is everywere. after you are done with that you need to go to the cave and get Cavewood and Cavestone. you may need to kill some mosters and then you are in the diffrent biome. (the combat also feels bad in my opinion) the dessert biome is also the same thing, get dessertWood and DessertCaveStone and kill some enemies, but the dessert does do a better job at giving more things you need to progress further like Obsidian, ruby and the other ores. after you get to the Ice biome there will be no reason to progress because there is nothing left to do. some players like myself (I did recently quit lego) prepair for the next update but the problem with that is this: you know the next update will basicly be nothing so you dont have motivation, if you DO have motivation you try and make a cool farming vehicle or something to travel around your world, so: you have created a good way to farm loot in the ice biome using the new Vehicles, you post it on youtube/reddit to show other people, epic sees you not using your tools to farm so they make it so it doesnt work anymore. and building a monorail or a cool car is not needed because of the fast travel update. in minecraft you build farms for the blocks/items you want/need to build with. in lego you need to mine it with a stupidly slow choppig/mining/atacking animation and because of that getting the recourses for building is way to annoying so you are better off quitting or playing sandbox mode. If you see any spelling mistakes please dont blame me, blame it on the dutch goverment. can i maybe get a pin i spend 30 minutes writing this down🥺
Lego Fortnite is the best mode for me, i dont like battle royale, so having a sandbox survive lego game is great, and i even get a lot of xp for playing, its just good

I don’t think you played the Lego Star Wars update that much because it had a lot of things in the update. I got back in the Lego Fortnite for a while when that update came out, and I think the live event was really sick too and had the new caves with the storm troopers in them or you could get light sabers, which were really fun to use especially in PVP and they give you quest which were pretty easy and you could get free buildings and other cosmetics.

Calling most of there updates impactful like calling having dinner is a miracle like please take a year like don't starve or minecraft 2 years like stardew valley 3 years like terraria but make it actually impactful and unique.
@@essambigshotdice8924 All of these are not very usable to players who don’t know much about the game. No casual player is going to go into PvP or build gigantic farms. They will explore, take the loot, and probably never touch a trial chamber again.
@ChonkyToad how said anything about mega farms? The crafter can be used in any type of farm small or big and you can use the mace on a normal play through. Also what if he want to get all the loot from the trial chamber he will beat it again and again to get the mace and the enchantments the trims the music discs or even breeze rod for wind charges and slime balls for redstone and you can get full Dimond blocks from pots and vaults and Tridents and rare enchantments books and enable hardmode with ominous potions for replay. I don't know anyone how beat it twice any never touch it again casual or not. I'm pretty sure these things are a bit more impactful and fun and creative then features that should have been in a survival game at lunch

As I see it, Lego Fortnite was doomed to fall very quickly. I couldn't get into it easily, aside from the haha aspect of it. Heck, Lego kind of screwed over the greater game, especially the item shops if certain things have anything to say. Emotes and skins often felt restricted to the Lego Curse, if the item in question did not have a lego variation of it, do not see the chances of any return into the item shop until it was fixed, which caused so much frustration during Season 1 in this chapter, where item shops felt way too samy all the time, with no included bundle for items that are usually offered in bundles.
Lego Fortnite is the best way to get xp take it from me I almost have ema frosts edit style unlocked any of you have her edit style unlocked without buying any levels oh by the way I didn’t buy the 1st 25 levels version of the battlepass

I played Lego Fortnite (after not playing it since it first came out) during the starwars event to get the free Lego kits (I did not get the premium pass).
I enjoyed having an actual objective the Starwars caves were fun and challenging.
I got satisfaction from upgrading my base and unlocking free Lego Kits.
But after I completed the pass and did all the challenges I stopped playing.
It’s good for easy XP though.

Minecraft took years and several largescale updates before they added any proper Endgame like the EnderDragon. Lego Fortnite has not even been out for a full year yet. Game Development doesn’t happen overnight. Although Epic Games hasn’t given it the love I would have wanted them to give it, they’ve done pretty good so far despite the circumstances.
Then again, Minecraft was being shipped as a beta back then and had the ender dragon by its actual full release. This is being shipped as the full game.
People wouldn't have these problems if it was a beta, but this isn't a beta, so it should be compared to minecraft on its full release, which had more than lego fortnite does.
Lego Fortnite likely started development mid 2022 if talks about a multiverse started then since Donald Mustard left because of that stuff. Which means Lego might've had 18 months of development time to Minecrafts 27 months, while Minecraft might've taken longer, it also had around maybe a dozen people when Indie games we're barely taking off.
Lego, too Minecraft Beta 1.0 is a bit worse because the Nether was added a month or 2 before Beta. But 10 months later, a month after minecrafts full release time window, and it has little to show for it, because the Lego devs are likely stretch to making lego sets, additions that ultimately recycle the gameplay loop Lego currently has, and restrictions to make Lego run on all platforms(which while yes Bedrock is this, Minecraft back then didn't need to worry as much because they didn't need to focus on parity for Pocket and Xbox360/PS3).
Lego Fortnite just sucks, because even Beta 1.0 of Minecraft does better because its building system, artstyle, and gameplay loop are just barely better.

I disagree, you can build anything, the system that organises the brick you use is dumb, I see fences in the wall section, same with gates (refer to the free wastelander blueprint), I feel we are missing a ton of builder bricks, and that limits what you build. The kits needed a skin per kit, yes it's a skin that lures you in to buy it then you will find how neat it is to build with these new bricks. I just wanted to be a wizard building a wizard tower but I don't have a wizard skin and the kit didn't include one... so very disappointment. Also an Lego Dreamz crossover would be sick.

About the new Dimension you're wanting, months ago there were leaks of Rift-based weapons and titanium tools and those came from a new dimension seen in the Roadmap of Fortnite Updates as the Dark Forest. Some speculate there would be some sort of goal in that dimension update as it is during the time of Fortnightmares (October)
And while it was super obvious that a Marvel LEGO Story for LEGO Fortnite would have been expected with BR getting a Marvel season, no idea why they didn't even considered adding Marvel stuff.
I still really have hope for this game because despite all the hate for it, the reason people say it sucks is because the game is still on it's beginning days. Think of how Minecraft used to have 2 blocks and all you have to do is run around and place and destroy blocks, until the Nether was added in 2010 and End in 2011 when it finally had a goal, 2 years after Minecraft was made. Minecraft didn't start with a mini boss or a big end goal. I'm hoping LEGO Fortnite just follow the same path like Minecraft did, with the after-mentioned Dark Forest being it's own spin of the Nether will be positive sign that it is following the path that Minecraft did.
In the end the main goal in minecraft is also building the nether and end are just side quests

I think there is much more potential for Lego Fortnite. You want to compare it to Minecraft... Minecraft has been around 15 years... Lego Fortnite has only been around 9 months. Look back at Minecraft in 2009... It was very very basic. Ender Dragon came out years later. Give it time. Lego Fortnite will get bigger.
Full Release Minecraft is the better comparision, because its possible Lego started mid chapter 3(27 months ago), and yeah, Minecraft is alot better here. But if you wanna say this game started development with Chapter 4? Even Beta 1.0 is better(Beta 1.0 started 18 months after Minecraft was created), core gameplay is solid with blocks being both the world and building material makes building much easier, and if you want to get into complex mechanics after aquiring the best tools? fiddle around with the side projects like Redstone, Nether travel, and Minecarts.
They need to make the village level max from 10 to 50 and like have 30 villagers in your village max and then world max villagers to like 150

Unfortunate that you compared to Minecraft for progress, as someone who played since beta, at the same time after release, they did not have anything that you listed. The furthest you could accomplish is diamond and maybe a mega base.
That said every other point feels kinda solid I’d just like to only counter your context for updates being small but frequent fells like a tad extreme as Minecraft has advantages that Lego can’t. Mainly they always have to drip feed as it needs to have something to get you back as Minecraft had a similar problem in beta, though they do need to have occasional impactful drops like how it was during beta Minecraft as the new monsters and biomes. So they have to start going this direction eventually.

1. Minecraft considers bedrock as their main game. It's sad but true.

I feel like they need to quit that feature where you can’t enter another biome unless you have a certain potion. Ex Snowy biome with a winter potion & desert with a heat potion. To me the game mode needs to add some more special pizzazz, 1. given how building is just simple in the game mode I feel like it needs to have in single snot bricks added in to make builds less reliant on glitches for pieces to connect each other at different angles.
2. Add in a different enemy faction to roam to the world since the game actually has the Empire, Ruffians, and skeletons roaming about they could just add in the last reality related enemies in there(husks, mist monsters, Cube Legion monsters(Fiends and their variants, Brutes and their variants, and the caretakers) the cube monsters( Cube Fiends and their variants and Cube Brutes and their variants), the kymeras, the ZyrZxx Destructo-droids and trespassers( and their Elite counterpart).
The live event in the star wars collab was neat.
It reminded of the very first live event in br, when the sky craked an in came the explorer.
Only it was the Star Wars ships fighting and crashing.
Very cool to have been a part pf both first live events in both modes.

1.Lost isles just came out and 2. THIS is NOT a terraria like. Thats likensaying minecraft should be like terraria it doesn’t work. @@Hatspop exactly ! A lot goes into survival games and a lot of those games don’t become jam packed with stuff to do till some time goes by !
I think these are some of the problems, rn the way you progress way too fast to the diffrent biomes, in minecraft there is so much to do in the overworld and you CAN go to the nether in 10 - 20 minutes BUT you wont experience everything in the overworld.
in lego every starter biome recourse you need is wood and stone wich is everywere. after you are done with that you need to go to the cave and get Cavewood and Cavestone. you may need to kill some mosters and then you are in the diffrent biome. (the combat also feels bad in my opinion)
the dessert biome is also the same thing, get dessertWood and DessertCaveStone and kill some enemies, but the dessert does do a better job at giving more things you need to progress further like Obsidian, ruby and the other ores. after you get to the Ice biome there will be no reason to progress because there is nothing left to do.
some players like myself (I did recently quit lego) prepair for the next update but the problem with that is this: you know the next update will basicly be nothing so you dont have motivation, if you DO have motivation you try and make a cool farming vehicle or something to travel around your world, so: you have created a good way to farm loot in the ice biome using the new Vehicles,
you post it on youtube/reddit to show other people,
epic sees you not using your tools to farm so they make it so it doesnt work anymore. and building a monorail or a cool car is not needed because of the fast travel update.
in minecraft you build farms for the blocks/items you want/need to build with. in lego you need to mine it with a stupidly slow choppig/mining/atacking animation and because of that getting the recourses for building is way to annoying so you are better off quitting or playing sandbox mode.

Lego Fortnite is the best mode for me, i dont like battle royale, so having a sandbox survive lego game is great, and i even get a lot of xp for playing, its just good

I played Lego Fortnite for like 8h once and then never touched it again and that was when it came out.
I don’t think you played the Lego Star Wars update that much because it had a lot of things in the update. I got back in the Lego Fortnite for a while when that update came out, and I think the live event was really sick too and had the new caves with the storm troopers in them or you could get light sabers, which were really fun to use especially in PVP and they give you quest which were pretty easy and you could get free buildings and other cosmetics.
The only redeeming factor of LEGO Fortnite is the fact that you can make your own custom vehicles that’s basically it

I don't think basic feature every month is big but ok (like I'm pretty sure 1.21 has more features than all lego fortnite updates combined)

Like 1.21 changed every farm in the game using the crafter the pvp and parkour using the mace and it's enchantments the vaults changed the Map making and the commands changed and improved modding and much much more things like blocks items qol bug fixes like these are impactful I'm yet to see a lego fortnite update that actually add tings to the game bearly any new enchantments (essences)or monsters or any thing even when they added hardcore....it's just copies of the same enemies and boss like cmon.
Calling most of there updates impactful like calling having dinner is a miracle like please take a year like don't starve or minecraft 2 years like stardew valley 3 years like terraria but make it actually impactful and unique.
@@essambigshotdice8924 All of these are not very usable to players who don’t know much about the game. No casual player is going to go into PvP or build gigantic farms. They will explore, take the loot, and probably never touch a trial chamber again.
@ChonkyToad how said anything about mega farms? The crafter can be used in any type of farm small or big and you can use the mace on a normal play through. Also what if he want to get all the loot from the trial chamber he will beat it again and again to get the mace and the enchantments the trims the music discs or even breeze rod for wind charges and slime balls for redstone and you can get full Dimond blocks from pots and vaults and Tridents and rare enchantments books and enable hardmode with ominous potions for replay. I don't know anyone how beat it twice any never touch it again casual or not.
I'm pretty sure these things are a bit more impactful and fun and creative then features that should have been in a survival game at lunch

As I see it, Lego Fortnite was doomed to fall very quickly. I couldn't get into it easily, aside from the haha aspect of it.
Heck, Lego kind of screwed over the greater game, especially the item shops if certain things have anything to say. Emotes and skins often felt restricted to the Lego Curse, if the item in question did not have a lego variation of it, do not see the chances of any return into the item shop until it was fixed, which caused so much frustration during Season 1 in this chapter, where item shops felt way too samy all the time, with no included bundle for items that are usually offered in bundles.
Lego Fortnite is a joke. Epic does not provide any support whatsoever. They will just ignore you and take your money.

You have to remember that Minecraft didn’t have everything that we love at the beginning, this is why Lego fortnite doesn’t have an endgame yet.
