1/4" TRS to BNC patch cable is the best way, you can find one on eBay. What you want to do is get the signal coming out of the keyboard into a channel on the scope. The signal is on the "tip" conductor coming out of the headphone jack, and that is the interesting voltage you are trying to probe. In this crude example I just used a cable with BNC connector at one end, and loose wire on the other alligator clipped to a cord coming out of the headphone jack. Here is a link the the cable that would make a better probe connection between keyboard and oscilloscope www.ebay.com/itm/1pcs-2M-6FT-BNC-Male-to-1-4-6-35mm-TS-Mono-Male-Plug-Audio-Adapter-Cable-Black/253168710489?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649
Just got one myself. “Thinking about just keeping just for fun.” Ditto.
Figure out how to link the 'scope's output to a couple of big screen TVs and you could have an interesting light & sound show...
where are the leads of the scope attached to? RCA outs?
i had TRS to BNC cable, audio out of synth into one of the OSC channel BNC jack
come on dude..... how did you connect it!?
see reply i made to @Duck below
@@ke0kie my bad, thanks :)
@@jonasvm ruclips.net/video/7EK52CMk6l4/видео.html I have a super straight forward video on how to connect them too, if you need :)
You can literally use anything man. Alligator clips. Paperclip. Anything conductive
@@erinschloeffel thanks!!
can i do the same with small pocket size cheap digital oscilloscopes that i saw online ?
Yeah, of course, if the sample rate is high enough, else the waveform will look ugly
@@arbiter1er what is the best sample rate?
Can you make a guide how to connect everything & make it work? Can't find a tutorial for it :/

I too am interested in his! Could you Please show us your connections?
I am considering a Hantek version.
What cords do I need to make this work with my synth?
