Good review. I appreciated how cabin staff made a bow after the safety demo. It's around 30 years since I last flew with Eva Air (when it first came to the UK) but cabin staff did likewise ... and they had been trained by ANA.
Enjoyed your flight video and also enjoyed your trip to the mall. That is a really nice place to spend some hours, just cruising around it, so many food and shop venues to choose from.
I don’t know how I missed this video but I’m sure glad I found it. I love the livery of Vietnam Airlines, there’s really nothing like it. Another great vlog Jayden.❤️👍✈️
Hi Jayden. I’ve loved watching this, as I am a European living in Hanoi for the last 4 yrs. I travelled out of T2 last week and it was so sad to see the place so quiet. In Pre-Covid, the airport was always bustling. No one I know has ever had a passport control officer ask for money. You must have a generous face. 🤣🤣 Stay safe
Very nice flight and vlog as always, Jayden! I was surprised to see Banh Mi without fresh coriander, they usually are made with it...but lucky you. Hehehehe. It looks like Vietnam Airlines is a good one to fly, and not too expensive one-way to Bangkok. How many times have you been to Thailand? It's a dream destination for me now. Any recommendations? Why the sad face over your chai latte at the end, btw? Thanks again for your great work and being fun to watch!
HAHAHA no wonder I liked this banh mi😂😂😂 I’ve been to Bangkok countless of time! maybe 15 times?! I mainly go to Bangkok only so can’t recommend anything but Bangkoo🤣, but also been to Hua Hin and Pattaya. Phuket is my go-to list! Chai latte was expensive and not good, as is the case in most cafes outside of Australia 😵🫠 thanks Britt!
Very lovely flight review and vlog oh I so miss eating banh mi specially the pork belly once, love your videos as always best regards from the Philippines 🤗😊
Great vlog Jayden. You are so funny with your little quips. T2 at Noi Bai is a far cry from the old 'red' terminal I used (suspect was same architect as Jose Marti Intl, Havana). VN looks a solid service now, so would happily fly them these days.
Nice video man.one of my dreams is to fly in one of this 787 from Vietnam airways.soon I Will be there to enjoy this beautiful country of Vietnam.👍👍💯💯🥳🥳🌄
I liked the way how the cabin crews bowed in the safety briefing. :) 20:49 baggage trolleys are socially distanced 😇 23:11 The view somehow reminds me of Tsuen Wan

You're so funny! I cant believe there was no toilet paper. I haven't back to Hanoi since 2016. Had a great time with my best friends there. We took SQ on some. promo and didn't mind the layover since the food is Changi is always good.
Nice Video! I’m conflicted to say whether Bamboo or Vietnam airways is better but overall Bamboo seems likely to be a strong competitor and maybe join an alliance in the near future
bro i went on Vietnam airlines to go back to ho chi mhin for like 4 weeks to visit my grandparents and DAMN when i went on the Vietnam airlines the people idk what to call them but they were so welcoming and nice. the food that i got there were bomb😍
Bamboo have a great lounge in Hanoi - you can add to ticket for US$17 which is dirt cheap. And, awesome views. The VN lounge in Hanoi was good also from memory - large. Doing the Hanoi to Bangkok route next weekend also, and you need only $10k insurance, health declaration and vaccination (you can go unvaccinated but more hurdles to jump) so quite 'open' now!
Hello friend, I’ll be leaving from Cambodia may 21st 2022 and I got everything including hotel booking too and does the hotel will be picking me up or do I need to go there on my own ?
The random pull aside for baggage check and the asking for money by the customs guy would leave a bad impression of the Airport on me also. Loving the passengers in full PPE 🤭. The synchronisation of the FA's doing the safety demo was impressive though. Banh Mi sans fresh herbs say what, but you would appreciate no coriander so it was a win win. Glad Thailand got rid of those silly protocols finally. I think that Vietnam Airlines was way better than Bamboo just because of the seat and TV. A very comfortable short flight that would be fine even for a longer flight in the bulk head row. 👍
My whole trip was so wonderful and that officer almost ruined it for me LOL! I saw quite a few passengers wearing full PPE in Sydney last month when I was heading for Ho Chi Minh. I saw them at the security, most of them heading to Guangzhou and Shanghai. The restrictions are very tight and quarantine can be scary over there, so I don't blame them being over the top when flying to China. Vietnam Airlines is definitely more 'established', everything you need is there, nothing (including headphone) missing haha
VN is an up and coming airline. I had taken their flights before and enjoyed their in-flight service. I wish it had joined Oneworld instead of Skyteam. Anyway, at 9:54, the auntie behind ... lol 😂
For historical reasons I suppose France (AF/KL Skyteam) has closer ties to Vietnam. Also alliances don't like to have members too close to one another. Hence MH and CX are already Oneworld. (So is JAL but the latter is that little bit farther away)
@@alexmcwhirter6611 Yes. The colonial ties are still strong. It's wishful thinking on my part but I would rather OW kicks MH out and brings VN in. MH is a disgrace to OW and hogs the Southeast Asian membership slot, preventing other more credible carriers like PR, VN and BI from joining OW.

For example, they might find something illegal or say that this thing is illegal and ask you for money so that you can continue your journey. Who knows…
