Just. Awesome. My blessed. Happy. Childhood. 1960s. They are Great cartoons. Thank you all you wonderfu l. people. Perfect cartoon voices. R I p all who went on before me. God Bless everyone. Julie kilburn.
I loved this show as a kid. As an adult, I see even more that I had missed. It works on so many different levels. One thing it never did was talk down to kids.
Excellently informational, and witty!!! Always LOVED, June Forays' voice!! But this is the first time, I've seen what she, actually looks like😁 (and I'm 61🙄, and watched these, my whole life). 61 and just finding out what beauty and talent, she possessed, also.
This is great! I think I saw this when it originally aired. I lived in the SF bay area and I remember watching a Rocky & Bullwinkle marathon on New Years eve. This must have been it!
Thank you for showing these I grew up watching these since I was born in 59. I loved Rocky and Bullwinkle thanks for showing the original shows brings back so many memories of Good times .✝️♾️🛐♥️🙏
This was a "one-time" deal of a telecast in the San Francisco Bay Area; as after seeing this in 1986, I diligently kept tabs with TV Guides each week to see if there was going to be a repeat telecast, and there never was on Bay Area TV up through the year 2000.
Given the video recording technology of that era of 1986, the visual quality of this video is remarkable. Whomever did this aircheck did it so in the "SP" VHS recording mode; as the '6-hour' "EP" mode would have never gotten this kind of visual quality.
I remember watching this New Year’s Eve 1986 when I was living in the Bay Area in California, where this particular recording is sourced from. And I remember while watching it at a friends house, I wished I had set up my VCR to record it! And here 36 years later, I can watch it again! Thanks for uploading.
This was my first encounter with the distinctive voice of Edward Everett Horton. Years later, I saw him in various movies and could finally put a face with that wonderful voice.
Man, this is great ! Did you tape this when it aired ? My channel is full of my VHS archive from the early 1990's. This is GOLD what you have here. Many thanks.
BULLWINLE’S NEW YEARS EVE SPECIAL WOW 🤩 THIS EPISODE IS SO TOTALLY 💯 AWESOME 🤩 NOW THATS ENTERTAINMENT ITS FANTASTIC THE ROCKY AND BULLWINKLE SHOW THE GOOD 😌 OLD DAYS
There's a segment in this video where the writers had the adults in mind with the humor. Starting @1:02:15, lasting around a minute: It pokes fun at colleges, and the Rocky & Bullwinkle banter about girls got a big laugh out of me. And please keep in mind that back in the 1960s, the labels with 'ladies,' 'women,' and 'girls' were interchangeable; as adult women back then were commonly referred to as 'girlfriend' when dating guys.
Bullwinkle: "As you know, this is really the Huntley Brinkley report." 🤣😂 Now that's an old school news show for sure, when it was 4 channels only for national and local news - ABC, CBS, NBC & PBS. Rocky, Bullwinkle, and Fractured Fairytales rule! They were brilliant. 🥇🫎🐿
I finally figured out what Bullwinkle is referencing at 14:36. For the final of all the pairings he says, "fair & warmer," which turns out to be a then-popular (1960) cocktail from Craddock's Savoy Cocktail book. Hahaha! Maybe Jay Ward bought two of those for June Foray at their famous luncheon! Lol.
Starring the one and only June Froay as your interviewer for the special (she was in her late 60's when this special aired). This special contains the Wosamotta U story which has 12 story parts from the 5th season from 1964.
..didn't check to see this original version with period correct commercials, hadn't been doctored with Captions; but sent link, to share to short list of friends anyway.. Nothing like 1980s ads, except those newer youtube provides😇 ~ small town AK-USA🇺🇸❄🍄🌿🌻
BULLWINKLE ‘S NEW 🆕 YEARS EVE SPECIAL WOW 🤩 THIS EPISODE IS SO TOTALLY 💯 AWESOME 🤩 NOW THATS ENTERTAINMENT THE ROCKY AND BULLWINKLE SHOW CARTOON NETWORK GREAT 😌 CARTOON SHOW
This is the first time I've seen this! The fact is I was born in 1987! But I still love Rocky and Bullwinkle! But ever since June Foray died I was heartbroken! I never got to tell her how I felt about her! To me she's like a fairy godmother! Especially when I sometimes felt like Cinderella at school a long time ago! Oh well at least Tara Strong to the replacement voice for Rocky! And now I really wish that there was a better Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon other than the one on prime! Because that one was really horrible! If I ever make my own Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon it should be called Rocky and Bullwinkle moose mysteries or squirrel secrets?! They would have old friends and new friends as well as old enemies like Boris and Natasha and some new ones too! But it's a good thing I learned how to draw a Rocky and Bullwinkle in a different way! I've always been a fan of Rocky and Bullwinkle ever since I was so little! You might even say that I've studied a lot about the Rocky and Bullwinkle show! Therefore I thought I would make my homemade comic strip about Rocky and Bullwinkle and their friends and foes! Especially a brand new story of how they matched A Little orphan girl named Chloe Clover who had a long-lost older brother named Lucky Clover!but as much as I really wanted to have the rights to the Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon I just don't believe it's possible! But what I do believe is there might still be a chance for a new Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon to come! And I really hope it won't be as stupid as the one on prime!😢
Sometimes when I see the part when Dudley Do-Right brought a white dog instead of a man it made me picture Dudley holding mr. Peabody! And as a cartoonist I had to use my imagination!❤

Very true!
I was 6 in 1966 and Bullwinkle was definitely my favorite, his goofy nature was so funny.
I remember seeing reruns of it and getting all the jokes I didn't when I was a kid.
I born in 61 and loved this cartoon also
@russellcollier8202 I'm getting stoned, and laughing my ass off, presently😵💫😏…………

Kick Ass. My siblings wore out the vhs copy my grandmother recorded off the TV. Thanks.
This is great! I think I saw this when it originally aired. I lived in the SF bay area and I remember watching a Rocky & Bullwinkle marathon on New Years eve. This must have been it!

Thanks Vinnie! I love Bullwinkle (and the commercials are totally radical as well)!

This show is off the chain KRAZEEEEEE!
51:34 "Blue Grange...don'tcha mean Red Grange?" "Let's not be controversial!"
News went totally downhill after Cronkite, Huntley and Brinkley left. 😢

June looks like Rocky...Lol
1:35:56 the announcer clearly said GIVING AWAY, but then it's actually $17.
2nd half is same as the 1st half. Tho it was totally enjoyable. Also, loved the old commercials.
I didn't know coach Kirby took lessons from Fearless Leader
Context: Kirby Smart is the coach of the Georgia Bulldogs and his coaching (I assume) is ruthless & militarizt judging by the team so far
I'm watching this in 2024 all the way into 2025!😂🎉
