This is a guitar fingerstyle cover and transcription of the piece "It's been a long time, long time", played by the Harry James orchestra.
The song was composed right after World War II and it is about a post war lovers reunion. It became a jazz standard and was sung and played by many artists, such as: Perry Como, Peggy Lee, Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra and even Tom Jones. The song was also used in two movies; Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: The First Avenger.

@@noviceturtle8042 I've recorded my efforts and will put into a video please God at some stage. I had to drop the odd awkward note and there's a few to say the least. But I got the bones of it and I'm happy with my end result. Its funny sometimes i play a piece extra slow and people hear it and say that was lovely played slowly like that. They don't know i couldn't play it at the proper speed if i could i would. LOL. THANKS . Hope you have a great Christmas the best ever. 🥳
