Elsa's Reef - Rye Pier, Melbourne.m4v

Elsa's Reef is a new artificial reef about 60 metres off Rye Pier in 6 to 7 metres of water. We have no idea who has built it but I have no doubt it will become a fantastic artificial reef in no time at all. Next time you're at Rye Pier, head north from the front left corner of the pier, look for the yellow capped star pickets and eventually you'll arrive at the site.
Look for the octopus in the biscuit tin - maybe it's a resident, but surely there will be more marine critters making this area its home over the summer.
