    This is an extraordinary vehicle and deserves recognition (I’m an American btw) but it isn’t competing against the Humvee anymore. The American army now starting to replace the Hummer and use the JLTV. The new JLTV’s destroy the Humvee’s on every statical comparison and are quite the formidable light armored vehicles. Same as the Tigr’s. Both are extraordinary vehicles and operationally exceed both military’s battlefield requirements. Which is better is hard to say but I would argue they are both about the same performance wise and any vehicle that has an edge over the other is minimal.

    Btw: They should compare the "Tiger" to the "L-ATV" not a relic from the early 80s. The Humwee was in service in 1983, the "Tiger" was designed in 2001 and in service in 2006.

    Excellent show. I am sad that it's now from a country that is murdering innocent people. As we've seen recently, they burn pretty damn easily and that mobility doesn't seem to work in urban warfare without decent run flat tires. To be fair, there are reports that what we're seeing with the tire problem for the Russian Army is NOT rotating tires, and the subsequent heat, light, and cold damage, when in long term parking, and the fact that MANY of the destroyed tires appear to be Chinese made rather than the standard. Sadly, a lot of Russians have died in and around those vehicles already and the war isn't even two weeks old.

    • @nixles2577
      @nixles2577 2 года назад +6

      What you see is only a small part of what is happening in Ukraine, and most of what I see are photos of several Russian armored vehicles exchanged for entire cities (I wonder what kind of losses the defenders had that they literally surrendered their fortified positions? But you probably won't find out about it, because it's an inconvenient truth that can easily be kept silent.)Ukraine is fighting with 12% of the Russian army and still loses, Ukraine is already on the 5th (or 6th?) wave of mobilization, while Russia has only allowed to accept volunteers with experience in the army. I know that in your schizo-news they tell tales about RUSSIAN SHADOW MOBILIZATION (What kind of shit, do they even understand how it sounds?) While Ukrainian leaders openly sign documents on mobilization, and Ukrainians (mainly from Odessa) create groups in a telegram in which they report which areas it is better not to appear, because there they are issued summonses to the military enlistment office. Are you another CIPSO bot? Where did you get the lie about deliberately killing civilians? Russia, and the Ukrainians themselves (not very smart representatives) have been and continue to show a huge amount of evidence of how the Ukrainian army occupies positions in schools and kindergartens. Just this month, Ukrainians showed photos of the Russian ARMY's VILLAINOUS SHELLING of a Ukrainian GROCERY STORE and posted photos themselves in which Unguided aircraft missiles are clearly visible in the store's warehouse. More recently, there was news about a shopping center that caught fire from a missile hit on an industrial complex in which weapons supplied by NATO countries were stored, But the Ukrainian authorities decided to lie and say that the rocket was originally aimed at the shopping center, while the next day they themselves posted a video where you can clearly see WHERE this rocket was flying. I know that the Russian army treats the residents of Ukrainian cities humanely, and I personally brought humanitarian aid there, not only to the cities that are in the rear, but also those that were located Near the front. I know perfectly well that there are still civilian casualties, but they are not even close to as many as the Ukrainian side claims (after these words, I remember how Ukrainians joked about the dead children in the Donbass in 2014 and said that it was all blown up air conditioners) and they are not being killed on purpose. (it's fun to launch an expensive ballistic missile at civilian infrastructure a couple of times a month, right?) Stop believing your stupid TV. I'M NOT ASKING YOU TO CHANGE SIDES AND STOP HELPING UKRAINIAN CIVILIANS, THEY STILL NEED HELP, FOOD, SHELTER (especially with such an army that considers it right to place barracks in schools) I PERFECTLY SAW WHAT THE CITIZENS OF THE DPR AND LPR WENT THROUGH AND I UNDERSTAND HOW SCARY IT IS. I ask you and people like you to try to look at the news from the other side, no one has ever banned the Ukrainian language or Western Musicians in Russia, but this is happening in Western countries. In Russia, news channels that spread disinformation are banned, but no one prohibits channels that tell even the INCONVENIENT truth from both sides. We know about our successes and failures, about our heroes and traitors, we look at both sides of the coin, while you look only at the one you are allowed to look at. If you are interested in learning some news on Russian sources, use a translator and write keywords to find the news you are interested in. The information is always different on all portals, so it makes sense to watch it on several sites. I wish you good luck and a clear sky over your head

Пилу, топор и лопату в армии никто не отменял... 30:13

    Tiger is good vehicle but compare to humvee and British army vehicle is not suitable. As I know humvee design was made around 1975 to 1980 . It was made as light strike vehicle not an light APC. the British army vehicle is an command vehicle with light fire power. It was not much of an off-road vehicle.tiger is best for airborne or para drop role. But it can't withstand much of an IED attack , humvee can't do that as well but the British army vehicle can withstand the blast. It term of better drive capabilities British army vehicle is not so good in jungle warfare nither is humvee . But Tiger is.

    And no offense, but those portal axles on the humvee with the upgraded duramax engine makes it the best off roader for light military vehicles. Not even close. I love Russian tech, it's the MOST capable next to american tech as it likelihood of actually being used in combat.
    Look at the british l95 bullpup rifle theyve been working for decades, they ended up buying ar15s (they're version m4s but made in Canada so c6 or something) because they work. Spain has tried to make the cetme, but nato ruined it like everything else people tried working on that wasn't supplied by us manufacturing.
    I, am a proud american, but I bought for my first rifle an ak 47 variant, legal of course so dumb childproofing crap all over it but I love it. Low maintenance and I KNOW it will work if I need it to. It was still over 1k but you can buy good ones for 600bucks and ammo is WAY cheaper than 556. That's why a LOT of countries still rock old russian gear. It works.

      @syed musa have you ever gone wheeling or rock crawling in one? Ever heard of the rubicon trail? That's out my back door, I'm guessing you have NO idea what a portal axle is or it's function. If you don't understand the context of my statement maybe responding isn't such a good idea.
      Also, willing to bet you've never driven a humvee, I have many times, and yes, I will outwheel.you or anyone you know in that armored car with a humvee.

      @@pashapasovski5860 lol, what is the standard rifle for sas and sbs? You know, the people who use their weapons more than anybody else in the british military?(hint, ar-15 family ,c7's, hk416s and many others.)
      The iwi tavor is a superior rifle in every way, cost less than a tenth to develop than that of the cost of the enfield. I have fired both, I would much rather carry the tavor than enfield.
      Not saying it hasn't been improved, but the program has been a nitemare for the british army and cost an insane amount to improve.

      Don't worry, we know in Russia the humvee is great. Humvee is relatively light, compact, and quite capable, and optimal for its purpose. At the same time I don't konw what purpose Tiger is optimal for. It is heavier, bigger, and hence harder for air transport, it is just an expensive iron monster which is have no sense to produce. It is more armored? Ok, but if things go so bad than maby it is better to use BMP, or Kurganets-25...

    While this may not be the best vehicle of its class, it has to be noted that Soviet/Russian doctrine to war and military equipment is very different to that of western nations. Rather than investing a lot of resources on a fewer number of equipments to make them as perfect as possible, they make compromises and make their equipment good enough, so the price per unit drops, and they can make more of said equipment for the same price. All in all it comes down to your perspective, do you want a tank that is the best in the world, or a tank which will do the job with 80 to 90% efficiency and 70% the cost of said best tank. In a perfect world, the best tank would always be chosen but in reality that cannot be done by many if not most nations.

    When we see all these Tigers in Ukraine that have the walls of the tires blown out- is that because these are cheap Chinese made tires or is it because of poor maintenance? If it’s poor maintenance- why is it so difficult to maintain these vehicles?
