In this episode: I travel to Germantown, Ohio for a solo overnight trip on the Twin Valley Trail in Germantown Metropark. Recorded April 20 & 21, 2024.
I went back and watched this again this morning to see if I felt the same peace while watching it on a Monday morning as I did on a Sunday afternoon and I absolutely did. I am so glad you had this time to reset and think of lovely memories like exploring as a kid in your grandparent’s backyard. I love the shot of you sitting in the tent. I was recently reminded how nice it is to enjoy the pleasures of camp and I’m so glad you were able to do that on this trip. I'm glad this could help you feel some peace on a Monday morning that will probably be anything but peaceful. It was so good to be reminded how it feels to sit at camp for half a day and not have anything to do. I forget about that sometimes during those long days of hiking. We need to do it more often! There were a lot of good reminders on this trip. I'm glad you enjoyed it and didn't mind screening it. 😉❤
