- This video accompanies Part 7 of the Fruit Garden Crochet Along project. Within the film I show how to work parts of the Chrysanthemum motif and how to work around the Acanthus Motif to start to build the rectangular shape.
You can find the patterns for the Fruit Garden CAL project as free to download PDF documents on the Stylecraft web site.
You can find more information and yarn kits for the project on my web site, where you can also sign up to my mailing list:

I can't believe this, I ve jus found this channel, Janie, you are an artist, yo should be proud, thank you! 😍
I had always been a stickler against videos grrr shame on me! You have helped me to see things that I could not understand and the videos compliment the written patterns! Thank you so much
I was really struggling with the written instructions... then somebody mentioned your video...thank you, thank you. What a life saver. I'm going to have to redo several...But I figure this one is the learning one. Next one... look out! Love your work too...Thank you again. great video instructions.
Dear Jane, when I started this project some 5 months ago I thought this Acanthus motive would be top much for me. Thanks to your excellent video's I now have done 4 of them already, thank you so much!
Thank you Janie for these wonderful videos
When I first started this project I thought it would be beyond me. These videos have pointed me in the right direction. Thank you so much. I've bought 2 more kits now. Hooked!
Just about to start on my caramel rows and wend my way through the terrifyingly twisted tangle of blue and green leaves. Hope this gilded frame will secure them all. Thank goodness for these videos. They are so reassuring and are invaluable to check that one has interpreted the pattern’s instructions correctly.
Your engineering skill is astounding Jane! Truly amazing. Loving trying to work out my shorthand ‘mud maps’ as I crochet and watch and read along with you. You really have made this project an exciting challenge. Thanks so much.
Gorgeous! I am planning to make a crochet bolero vest and the back section be a square from one of your designs...oh myyy all the beautiful choices!!!
Thank you so much for this blank I’ve just finished mine as a lockdown project really helped me to stay sane
You amazing 😘
Bonjour Janie, plus de 6000 vues pour cette vidéo et seulement 8 commentaires ......
Merci pour votre travail et de partager tout ça avec nous . merciiiii
I've completed the two new rounds on one of my acanthus! It only took me three hours. Just 7 more to go - and the chrysanthemum of course. What a challenge , but we're nearly there and I'm thrilled with what I've accomplished as a relative beginner. Thank you so much Janie. I'm also making your Susan beaded bag and loving that too.
Thank you Jane for this wonderfully inspiring ‘block’. Can’t wait to do 8 of them!!
I was working from your video and had to redo the part around 58:26 four times until I finally realized that on making the second corner you were instructing us to make a double when the stitch was actually a treble. Quite confusing as I ripped these ends out on two separate days.. of course I had also done the next two rounds before I figured this out.
🙏🌹 que maravillas más grandes.!!!quiero hacerlas.

Hello dear Jane. Your work is just wonderful. I have seen your work years ago in Simply Crochet mags. I would love to know “How can i find your First work” that you have done.(it was many years ago). I would love to see if it was possible. I love all your work, but i wished to see ALL THE ITEMS YOU HAVE CROCHETED FROM THE VERY BEGINNING. I have been following a long and it is just so beautiful 🤩 what you have done for All of us, who love to crochet. Thank you so very much for your loving kindness, looking forward for receiving your very kind reply.
