- So this week I’m preparing for several small craft fairs where I’ll be selling my homemade gifts for the holidays, so in preparation I’m using my xTool M1 to laser cut and engrave on both cardstock, paper and thick cardboard, let me show you some of my projects and maybe you’ll find one that inspires you.

Love this, what setting did you use for cardboard?
The pre defined setting for corrugated cardboard but it will depend on the thickness if your cardboard, some are thinner, others more dense. Do a small test piece in the corner to check before committing.
What is the power and speed setting for that cardboard. I have a 10 w diode laser.
I showed it with the screen view of my computer at 00:25. It was 100 power 100 speed on the score setting. This was very thick metallic card so your speeds and power might change for your cardstock.

Its called à honeycomb for laser printers 😊

what settings did you use for the paper bag please?

What is your setting for scoring your gift box? Im trying to score 110lb cardstock and it keeps going through all the way?
It depends on your paper, but there is a score option that worked for me, so make sure you select the score marks and change these to the score setting.
Did you use the blade or the laser on the M1?
For this example I used the laser
