The birds looked happy. I didn't see where they kept the birds of prey. Definitely not in the open aviary or the vultures and hawks would feast on the birds.
This is a newly developed bird park. I did the walking tour on the 1st day of opening. We can see the beautiful birds at close range. Glad you like it.
Love the tropical birds. Flamingos and the blue bird with sheer crown are my favourite. Lovely parrots 🦜 too. Thank you for sharing this wonderful bird paradise
I love the lories and lorikeets at the Lory Loft. They are so cute and friendly. They will climb onto your shoulders if you spend time playing with them. The lone bird at the waterfall is lovely too. These birds are very used to be close to humans 😀
You must have visited the beautiful Jurong Bird Park which was closed in January 2023. This new one is at Mandai, near where the zoo is. This video was recorded on the launch day 😀
We have something similar in the Netherlands, "Wildlands Emmen". But the hot & cold side are reversed here, we have to build a greenhouse to keep the heat inside, while the penguins need no cooling 🤪
I walked the whole place and it feels like driving in the expressway… Of course me being me, I walked every possible path and filmed the lifts. Uploading them soon.
I would go around 9am, have lunch at the very expensive food court and leave in the afternoon. The Bird Paradise is big. 4 hrs could be ok if you just like to look-see look see. If you are a photographer or nature lover, you will need longer time. I missed the entrance waterfall. It's near a wall of glass doors when you drop off from the bus. Please ask people if you are not sure. You must not miss this wonderful waterfall.
I listed down the prices initially but later decided to delete them as it wasn't nice to write negative things about this beautiful park. I missed and forgot to remove "the price". I wanted to say that the food is expensive there. Canned drinks $3, dispensed drink $4, fruit juice $8.90 etc... Thanks for watching and leaving comment.
So most of the birds of prey (eagles and owls) were only in shows and not in viewable enclosures? Jurong Bird Park used to put those in enclosures years ago.
Haven't seen the zoo but this bird park already looks pretty cool Andi mean the birds are so tame and come right up to you over even on your hands and shoulders!!
@@sitinursharida8728 If I have only 1 day, I will visit the Bird Paradise, and the zoo. It will be a rush but that's the best option. Can skip the River Safari.
I was looking for the Winged Sanctuary too. The park personnel told me that it's not opened yet. I searched and found The Winged Sanctuary (Breeding and Research) to the left of Penguin Cove as we enter the Bird Park. It was blocked. Please let me know if you have information on this.
Nicholas, indeed I missed the Winged Sanctuary. I saw it in another RUclipsr's video. The park personnel gave me the wrong information and also the frontage was boarded up to the left. Thanks for alerting me.
Love for birds!🐦🐦🐦💙💙💙
Lovely, me too. Cats and birds 😀
Wow so cool
Thanks for your lovely comment.
An amazing place. I hope the birds are all happy in their new home.

I googled Wildlands Emmen. That's a beautiful zoo with drive-in safari. And that greenhouse is something new to me. Thanks for letting me know.

Great capture brother. I went there too. Mine is 2 hours plus. RUclips is still processing. lol. took so long
My footage is 2.5 hrs. I shortened to 48 mins. This is my longest duration video so far. Can't wait to see your video.
I walked the whole place and it feels like driving in the expressway…
Of course me being me, I walked every possible path and filmed the lifts. Uploading them soon.
You were more interested in the lifts than the birds at the Bird Park (and everywhere else). Thanks for watching.

So this is the new jurong bird park?
Yes Jurong Bird Park is closed and this is the new park.
How to get there? By bus or mrt
The information is in the description of the video. Thanks for watching.
So most of the birds of prey (eagles and owls) were only in shows and not in viewable enclosures? Jurong Bird Park used to put those in enclosures years ago.
I was looking for them too. Don't know why they were kept out form public view.
I been there not too long ago I saw some at winged sanctuary enclosure :0

If have 2 option. Which one u go? Singapore zoo@riverwonders@birdpark? Can anyone help

Yes some of the little birds even climb onto your head! The big bird at the waterfall was within 1 metre of me. It was a nice outing.
The River Wonders is inside the Zoo. You need to pay an additional fee which I think is worth it. So you can visit all 3 places with your 2 options 😀
@@SingaporeCityWalks didnt seem enough time to visit all 3 in one day. Which is the best 2 options among the 3?
