I'm 78 ys old, hate Metal Music, most hard rock but there is something about this band and I can't put my finger on it. I freaking love them!
Today I read about someone who visited his grandmother and asked what she did then. She said there was an angry opera with a lot of fire. She watched ARTE.😂

Would love to see what you guys have to say about their song Radio, especially if you like their synth. It's a damn catchy song with a great homage to Florian Schneider and Kraftwerk. Rammstein are fans of Depeche Mode as well, and you can hear that influence in many of their songs.
They are also fans of Alice Cooper. Big Fans.
The song is about self harm. The lyrics during the quieter/on the podium part include ‘I see my face in the mirror. You love me. I don’t love you.’ The bath is one way self harmers are advised to reduce the risk of self harm. Take a very hot bath.

Paul McCartney once secretly entered a Paul McCartney look alike contest and finished third. I can't see that happening with Till, he is truly one of a kind. Who else has a voice like that? But Chris CB is correct, this band is much more than their front man, they are a legend. Stage shows that no one else would dare to try. They are getting older now, how many more shows do they have in them? If you can somehow manage to see them, by all means do so. We will never see their like again
I usually always suggest the live videos, which obviously can't be wrong.
But there is one song, where I do suggest the video: The acoustic version of "Mein Herz brennt - Piano Version by Sven Helbig".

Please go down the Rammstein rabbit hole. They are Genius. Their official Videos are pure Art. And they have a lot of haunting Songs and Ballads. Please check out mein Herz brennt. First the piano Version than the official Video. Breathtaking.
Also they're doing their European stadium tour right now. It might be their last tour. I highly suggest everyone go and see them. Then this summer is the American tour. I'm going to Minneapolis in August and might get tix to San Antonio in Sept. This absolutely might be the last time to see their live show
I'm seeing them in the UK in a few weeks time and I'm totally stoked. There are a lot of rumours about them calling it a day after this tour but I still can't decide whether it is just good PR or not? It would make sense in one respect to go out in a high. I watched some of Paul McCartneys recent concert and it was a complete train wreck. I felt embarrassed for him. Not a good way for people to remember you.

The chorus is playback 'cos Till couldn't guarantee reproducing it live - I don't really care, pretty much everyone uses 'support vocals' at some point these days. It doesn't take anything away from the show.
Song is about S&M and was censored to perform on the radio in Germany when the album came out in 2009.they are singing about barbwire in the urethra…The title of the song is “I hurt you”.

I am sure you found out meanwhile, that they are singing about barbed wire in body parts.

" I see your face in the mirror" hints that the person he’s singing about is actually himself. Maybe this song isn’t about a sadomasochistic relationship, but is rather about self-harm.
You urgently need a good translation, because their lyrics are very deep and you got to know what they are singing about. Try "educated marine" he got some pretty good translations. Lindemann is a great poet, he wrote books of fantastic poetry!

I see music and I go into the tabs and somehow well english subtitles is pretty easy should work if they alowed it so go in youtube and type in how can I change subtitlle languege took me two years to find it I was so damn lazy to look it up
