I am currently using the original one and it is amazing. I have combination skin (oily on the T-zone and dry on other parts of my skin). my skin concerns are dehydrated & acne prone. I think this helps cleanse my skin really really well and doesn’t overly drying. since it cleanse my skin very well, my acne are slowly going away. I’ve never tried the acne senka but I don’t think I’ll try it since the original is good enough plus my skin somehow doesn’t work well with a lot of antioxidants.

I just switched back to senka last week and my skin is finally calming down with the cystic acne. I guess the takeaway is alcohol and fragrance are not (categorically) the devil, and skin science and what individually suits your skin just don't make sense sometimes.

I've watched a Korean program which reviewed all these various beauty products. It appears that Perfect Whip has a relatively high pH value at 8, which means that it is alkaline(like most soaps). This explains its ability to clean well, but also means at the same time that it might be somewhat stripping to the skin barrier (sadly). It was such a pity considering that it really cleanses skin well compared to most products.
yes they definitely don't label it as a low ph cleanser - so as I said at the end it may not be ideal for people with dry to extremely dry skin 😔 I've loved it from a young age and its worked well for a long while but being back in Australia where it has been a lot drier/I'm getting older 😱 I may take a break for a while and move onto something with a lower ph/more moisturising!

I actually have tried many self foaming ones and they are great in the morning when I don't have time! Although I don't think the foam is quite as dense and fluffy as when I foam it myself 🤔
I've never used Senka before although I think I might get it next, they are really cheap! I just have used a few of the Rosette, Hada Labo, Sana Nameraka, Biore and Etude House ones.
Because of my oily skin... I try the blue one...with written fresh (green word in colour)... I feel amazing ... I got less oil in my skin... n when im using my next skincare... it less oily and breakout...But as i know... Although oily skin... I still have need to moisturise well....
I have consistently gone back to the regular one over time but honestly, my skin is drier than it used to be so I probably like the collagen in one now!

it depends how dry you get - I am combination but on the drier side 😔 so prefer the collagen - if your on the oilier size go for white clay or regular! x

I have two nets and I def. have to use them more often. When I am lazy I use my hada labo self foaming cleanser. And I also have to try my mochi cleanser, but I don't wanna open a bunch of products at once.

None of them actually have ingredients to 'whiten' your skin, the white one has ingredients that can help cell turnover and gently cleanse your pores to make your skin appear brighter but it won't actually lighten your skin tone! Hope that helps 😊

frances kelly savella if you do have quite sensitive skin I probably would recommend it - it is not specifically formulated for sensitive skin and I have had friends with sensitive skin who it didn’t work for unfortunately 😔

I just got some of this bc Nayeon from Twice (in my pfp, queen) recommended it and her skin is so perfect! I’m kind of nervous about using it tho bc I just learned that it’s not best for dry skin & my skin is combination :(
As long as you replenish your skin properly with hydration & moisture afterwards it will be fine! Also if you focus mainly on cleansing your t-zone that is oily first, and just use the remainder of the foam to quickly wash the rest of your face it shouldn't strip your skin x

Kevin Jang I use it as a first step. My second (cleanser) and third step (toner) have a very low pH.

Tina you could also buy the speedy perfect whip. You could just easily pump the foam to your palms.
I actually have tried many self foaming ones and they are great in the morning when I don't have time! Although I don't think the foam is quite as dense and fluffy as when I foam it myself 🤔

The Hadalabo may work better for you then since it has a lower pH therefore more gentle!
