Was Russia inform Canada would confiscate the Russian plane before it had delivered the medical supplies. In fact Russia offered to purchase the owners of Russia's leased airplanes, but the owners filed an insurance claim before Russia could make a purchase offer. So now we know two facts which disputes what Canadian gov't says. When you confiscate something which doesn't belong to you is called stealing. Maybe Canadian politicians are so used to graft they don't recognize theft?
Our liberal government ranks among the top countries in the world for money spent by public officials, its easy to spend money thats not yours. I mean have you seen the budget local MP's get? Have you ever taken a small look at what they get for yelling and bickering at each other once a week? ON TOP of all the luxuries they get? Their entire family is covered by tax payer dollars and their "salary" essentially just stays banked. I mean we are talking about people who live 20min drive from each other, and instead of a local meeting they will have a meeting in Hawaii, Paris, Barcelona etcetera. All expenses paid OF COURSE, and not just for them but their entire family, not some "low class" 500$ a night hotels either, upwards of 2000$ a night.

If you want to seise its property to stop its war then you also strained your ability to produce products in some degree too. Essentially it isn't not like trying to remove a country that is not taking any seat on the market.

At least I can flip the finger to my prime minister and I won't fall out of a window... Freedom is something Russia will never experience until the old guard is all hanging. The biggest mistake of the West is trying to evaluate every situation through the lens of the law, all the while russia has not just repeatedly and persistently demonstrated its total disregard for the law, but has also been doing so in deliberately brazen and overt ways. Having been formally declared a state-sponsor of terrorism, it has lost its privilege to the treatment by the law.
So stop talking about whether seizing that plane is legal or not.
I think the government should simply put the jet in storage and use it as a potential bargaining chip in any future peace talks.

Not only Russian military is now a laughing stock, in terms of looks, equipment, capabilities and strategic ineptitude, but the Russian economy is worse off as well compared to Canada. The only thing Russia can offer to the world in terms of threats is a nuclear strike and judging by the late 50's-60's equipment that half of the Russian army is using, it looks like the nuclear stockpile might be in the same condition, if not worse. Second strongest army in the world was losing to the 20th strongest army in the world so bad, that its now in a defensive position for the second month in a row. Now that's a proper joke about "powerful" country of Russia.
