@jdcnow I'm just happy ABC hasn't done any standardizations (Besides incorporating the ABC logo int he station's logos, which is completely fine)
When WLS gets a new makeover (hopefully they'll get refreshed graphics within the next 2 years or so) I hope they get a variation of these, they're excellent, and semi-reminiscent of WABC's graphics. This style is PERFECT for an ABC affiliate.

@Robshow35 Yeah! I downloaded their open. Their logo is very similar to the logo WSYR just got rid of. KUSA-TV Denver has a 9 stylistically very similar to the WSYR 9 within the WSYR circle. KUSA's logo is 40 years old and in desperate need of an update. I recommend they should create a logo like WKYC. (KUSA and WKYC are the Gannett flagship stations. It only makes sense that their logos resemble each other).

@Robshow35 Similar to 9News in Denver and KMBC-TV. Ironic that 9News has WSYR's Reporter Kevin Torres. There is very little you can do with a nine logo.

@ctmajka Yep, they did. Observation >> With all of the so-called "fresh" and "new" ideas we've seen in the past couple years or so - cough.networkO&Os.cough (which are really the same boring set and/or graphics in a can for each market) - it's refreshing to see a news station whose look actually IS fresh and new. Good job, Hothaus, and way to go, WSYR! (raises roof...)
