      I just wanted to complain that it is too slow. For beginners this pattern is too complicated and they not going to try. For advanced crocheters it is too slow. But I may be wrong. Unique pattern.

    Yeah that's a half double in the USA I know it can vary in other countries so incase it's different where your at if your not in the USA idk just got confused cause the half double is one of my favorite stitches I use on blankets because of how it looks nice and tight no gagging wide spaces warmer that a triple crochet stitches blanket with all the spaces but not as heavy as a single stickers blanket that would take forever.

    This is beautiful and your demonstrations are perfect. I am teaching others how to crochet and I am always looking for 'EASY BEGINNER' type things to teach them. I wish you and others would not say easy and beginner, when this is NOT. Doing a reverse stitch is NOT beginner stitch. I say that because I still have to remind them which direction to wrap the yarn, and if I then introduce a reverse of that, before they have the usual down pat, I would really be doing them a disservice. I don't think that you or others do it on purpose. I think you forget what it was like when you were first learning.
    Again, beautiful stitch. And I have subscribed to your channel. I'm not a troll. And of course, this is just my opinion.

    I would like to see you state how many less stitches than chains you will have after you turn to do 2nd row. That will help beginners. Like 15 chains after turning and doing 2nd row you would have ?number of stitches at end of 2nd row.

    • @TubaCrochet
      @TubaCrochet  3 года назад

      hello, we always start with 2 chains by turning the pattern after the 2nd row (the order in which we created the pattern) and we must make 1 less than the number of patterns I have made in the 1st row, so we will make the patterns as one inside and one outside. 1st row 20 pattern 3rd row 19 design 5th row 20 , 7th row again like 19

      @@TubaCrochet No, not a flaw. I do not care how I get a pattern, with or without subtitles, if you are willing to do it. You are awesome Tuba and I thank you for taking the time to share this beautiful pattern. I posted hoping one of your native English speaking followers that have already mastered this pattern would do it for those of us that haven't mastered it yet, and learn better with a video and written pattern. I did not want to push you Tuba for the written pattern as you have said you are not a native English speaker and I know you have already put in a lot of work with the video translation (very generous of you) and speaking another language is difficult, so I know you care. If you are willing to do a written pattern that would be awesome, if not, do not feel bad, I will chase everyone out of my house as soon as I can, lock myself in a room and watch the video as many times as I have to in order to learn the pattern. How many skeins do you use for this blanket?

    • @TubaCrochet
      @TubaCrochet  3 года назад +3

      8-9 pieces of 100 gr yarn for 100x100 cm, but it varies according to the size and crochet number.

    Need to know how many chains for baby blanke?

    • @TubaCrochet
      @TubaCrochet  3 года назад

      I know how many chains, and I leave the choice to you, that's why in my video you can make as many chains as you want, I wrote to express that there is no coefficient when making the chain of the blanket.

    Great tutorial! One question, would this work with a chunky yarn?

    • @TubaCrochet
      @TubaCrochet  3 года назад +3

      thanks, of course you can work with any yarn you want

    • @Sepulchre_Gate
      @Sepulchre_Gate 3 года назад +1

      The real question is 'why would you want to do it in chunky ?' It would be an inch thick by the time you went over the row of slip stitch . Plus it's already a yarn hog ; doing it in chunky would double the cost of the project . It would be much cheaper to use a regular worsted and hold it dbl. or triple . By doing that you could use different shades of the same color and give the project a heathered look .
