Journey over grueling mountains, hazardous swamps, and bone-dry deserts on a distant world far from civilization - it is just you, your fellow adventurers and the amazing, jet-powered hover-buggy you built yourself. Explore, crash your vehicle, build a better one, and get as far as you can with whatever spare parts you find along your way.
Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

The simple tailfin, all you gotta do is just push it off the cliff. It rolls through the cave by itself then ends up right next to the drone thing.
1:12 yeah, I think you had to go up here by jumping using thrusters... well, we were very early game and had only engines... you can just cheesy climb up the wall with good outdoor vehicles, thats exactly what we did, we sequencebreaked so hard^^
To get to the first checkpoint in the video, I just made a wall climber with 4 mini thrusters and 2 bulldog engines, with basic wheels, starter bricks, and a cockpit seat

You have GOT to do a death race,
choose a circuit in trailmakers and then race in it BUT you are allowed to "attack" each other (not with guns though because nobody would finish) and possibly use things like spike traps etc. to try to stop the others from finishing (goal is to finish first)

when i used to play i had a monster truck i named Atlas, he was super heavy and massive, had a magnet in the front and a lot of weight blocks in the back. It was very fun to play with Atlas because he could carry everything and he could survive almost every fall because he was simply too big. Also, Triple suspension lol
I've been watching a couple weeks now, i just really wanted to say, i love love your intro!
So I've only been playing for a little bit but I've played enough games over the years. One little tip there's on that checkpoint if you go a little bit further up that way and then stay on your left keep going down there's a ledge if you have a fast enough vehicle you can wall climbing it
Each of you should build half of a vehicle but both halves can work independently and both halves magnetically attach to create a stronger vehicle

A NEW VIDEO!!!! I've been waiting for along time like a year (nahh just kidding) but it's still exciting for me
Scrapmans content is amazing and we need to get him to 1 mil subs
I was in the campaign and got to that checkpoint, you can also just use some suspension, offroad wheels and a small car to just drive up the cliff and get it that way, just an fyi for others in the campaign

I accidently built a wall climber as well but the glider made it look so easy there by the lava!
Just like my carplane^^
Once I had gimballs, I used my carplane for almost everything^^ (Except collecting stuff)
For the lava zone i used indestructible seat as a wheels 👍

The handoffs are so very satisfying
Pro tip : If you want to go somewhere where it is difficult to go just go to build mode and move your whole build on top of the place and spawn it in. (This method would've been very helpful in this video) and yes i have used this method in the game it works 🤓🤓😎
It's more fun to play the game how it is intended and exploiting really just ruins the fun

Idea for Multiplayer Monday: you build a transport vehicle BUT you have to build it in a way that lets you win a battle, and then you battle with the vehicles.
So no thrusters, weapons, or glitches, but anything else is allowed.
Yay I clicked on this video in under an hour!
Seeing this makes me see how much different than you guys im taking the campaign. Im 20% in and im already there and i have wallriders. No wings at all. No dragon engine etc. Wallriders and boats saved my life so far 😂
To make the jump you can also get some dragon engines on a small aerodynamic car
I only need 16 power cores until I complete it but I really can’t be bothered lol

With the giant pieces, you can put your magnet on a hinge and lift the off the ground to carry them easier.

when you find the dragon jet and have gimbals and sensors, make an auto stabilizing car with a magnet with additional gimbals to go up and down. then you safely return to a recovery drone.

Scrap mechanic evo challenge idea:
Tron but each time a new attribute gets added like at first you can't jump or do anything outside of a basic bike the 2nd round you have to have jumping 3rd round self stabilization using glitches ect 4th added wepons to increase your chances of winning
i remembered all of the maps because of scrapman, i saw his vid 1 year ago and he totally forgot about the cave xd

Multi-player Monday idea: High school egg drop challenge, using a trailmakers diving bell as the "egg". Try dropping your egg off a cliff, without using thrust or aero blocks whoever can drop their egg the highest without it blowing up wins the round.
