Nootropics gave me my brain back! After having had Covid and a dark period in my life where I slept, ear and just treated myself poorly I felt like my cognition had...aged. After using nootropics for more than a year (along with healthy lifestyle) I got my focus, memory and cognition back! I love everything that has been discussed in this video except Lions Mane and Curcumin which are DHT blockers and I can really feel those negative effects on me unfortunately. One nootropic stack that I have discovered recently is the CILTEP stack (Acetyl L-Carnitine, Artichoke extract, L-Phenylalanine, Forskolin and B6) which induces Long Term Potentiation in the brain and skyrockets my focus and memory. Love this one. I'm also using L-Glutamine, Taurine, Magnesium L-Threonate and Phosphatidylserine. Happy brains to y'all!

Hi, I am currently studying ohysics and we study a lot of math (college) the problem is we kind of study 3 chapters for three questions and I kind of understand and study them but then i easily forget everything i have studied especially the ones I studied in the beginning. What do you recommend for school especially math and physics memory?

Modafinil makes ADHD worse (easily stay up all night but get nothing done). Tyrosine and pre workout things containing it are great. Little known pyritinol helpful for focus but brain tolerates to it so you have to cycle it.

      Jim,
I have been "researching" or just rather reading and listening to different people, some know what they are talking about others don't. Recently I've decided to pretty much just listen to your advice bc I feel most confident learning from you.
Here is my question - well first let me just say that my biggest issue is the -Dont take supplements just eat better vs supplements are vital??
I really think that they are vital to me.
So anyways I have MDD, PTSD, ANXIETY, ADHD, FIBROMYALGIA supposedly
& I Have been in and out of active addiction for the past 7 years.
I'm to the point where I am ready for a real change for the better. Addiction is so hard to distance yourself from when you are trapped in depression.
I have tried just about everything. However I really believe that I could be sober and live a better life if I could just figure out what will help my brain and boost brain function as well as keep me full of focus and energy. So many times I have relapse just for the simple fact that I am so tired and feel so drained that I can't possibly just get up and do the millions of things I need to do. Jim help me!!! Lol help me help me so that I can help others. I know that there has to be more to this and I believe that a healthy body invites more healthy choices and bad health invites bad choices.
I want to collaborate and figure this out. You're the best person to help with this in my opinion. Thank you in advance for your time and help.

Ive been taken lions mane since April 2022. Several times for 1-2 months. And i do it now. Its a wonderful nootropic. My mind got new resources without any bad effects or addiction. Memory is better. For example, i've got some facts from childhood in details. I can speak using much more complicated termins and more quickly. I can remember numbers and navigate in big buildings, which was a problem for me. I understand English better. It was a great progress to subscribe and listen to your videos without translation, and so was about songs in English. I see more detales in the world: during a walk, talking with people, reading, etc.

    I am 55 years old
I've been struggling with memory problems for the past 10 + years.
Struggling with processing, comprehending, and retaining information.
It has been affecting my everyday life!!
I've previously been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea but haven't been able to treat it due to high deductibles unable to meet.
I'm not sure if I have ADHD or not never been tested but always had problems in school.

Seeking Guidance - short term memory problems
I'm interested in starting a stack but I need some guidance. My situation is, that I've been having short-term memory problems lately and I do have some upcoming studies that I need to focus on.
So far what I have researched about are:
    L theanine
    L tyrosine
    L-threonate magnesium
    Lions mane
    Ashwagandha
    Alpha gpc
    Gingko Biloba
I was thinking about L theanine in the evening & Lions mane, Gingko Biloba during the day. Also seen videos on Neuro-Mag that I like but will be too much to add that on top I think?
    What do you guys recommend?

JIM: Trimethylglycine sleep research shows that TMG supplementation can improve S-adenosylmethionine (SAMe) production in the body. Preliminary research shows that increasing SAMe levels may be able to mitigate obstructive sleep apnea, thus contributing to better quality sleep overall.
In some cases, individuals may start experiencing certain benefits within a few days of regular TMG supplementation. These benefits can include improved exercise performance, reduced homocysteine levels, and potential enhancements in liver function.
TMG bypasses the folate enzyme MTHFR. That means even if you have the common gene mutation C677T, which hampers methylation, you can still benefit from Betaine TMG.
Avoid all products with added or fortified folic acid which is the synthetic form of vitamin B9 found in fortified supplements (pregnancy supplements) breads, cereals and commercially produced flours. Avoid processed foods that have synthetic folic acid added to them.

Things you have put off for a bit get done. If you have to read something you can absorb it word for word instead of getting a random thought every few words. It also firms up the stools if you have been having bowl stainers. Perfect torpedos.
