Nootropics gave me my brain back! After having had Covid and a dark period in my life where I slept, ear and just treated myself poorly I felt like my cognition had...aged. After using nootropics for more than a year (along with healthy lifestyle) I got my focus, memory and cognition back! I love everything that has been discussed in this video except Lions Mane and Curcumin which are DHT blockers and I can really feel those negative effects on me unfortunately. Sleep is essential for memory consolidation and cognitive clarity. During deep sleep, the brain processes and stores information from the day, aiding retention and focus. Older adults should aim for 7-8 hours per night to support mental performance. Establishing a regular sleep schedule, reducing screen time before bed, and practicing relaxation techniques can help improve sleep quality, promoting mental sharpness.
Hey Jim I am 55 years old I've been struggling with memory problems for the past 10 + years. Struggling with processing, comprehending, and retaining information. It has been affecting my everyday life!! I've previously been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea but haven't been able to treat it due to high deductibles unable to meet. I'm not sure if I have ADHD or not never been tested but always had problems in school. Are there any supplements you can recommend for me?
Sleep Apnea could also lead to memory problems and focus issues since your body and your mind isn't able to properly rest throughout the night, i'm not a doctor or anything, but my dad has same symptoms and has sleep apnea.
First fix the issues that will reduce sleep apnea: Fix any obesity, BP, and blood sugar issues with weight loss, clean diet and regular lot of exercise, and intermittent fasting. Also good sleep hygiene.
I took two days of natural stacks brand L-Acetylcholine, and I felt what he described about jaw tension and headache. I returned it immediately, did anybody else have similar symptoms?
Hello Jim and Dave, I didn’t know about the kale surprise at all, totally blindsided by it. I’ve been eating kale bagged salads from Costco for months now every day at work. I was thinking of asking my doctor to do a Thallium test to see. Is it a blood or urine test? Welcome your thoughts. Thank you, Anthony Chaiken
I had used Alpha Brain and it was amazing for me. It accomplished everything that i had hoped! The only issue is that it made my left eye twitch. As soon as I stopped, the eye stopped twitching. I then tried Qualia which I did not find to be as powerful/work me my brain nearly as well. Can anyone recommend another pill similar to Alpha Brain?
JIM: Trimethylglycine sleep research shows that TMG supplementation can improve S-adenosylmethionine (SAMe) production in the body. Preliminary research shows that increasing SAMe levels may be able to mitigate obstructive sleep apnea, thus contributing to better quality sleep overall. In some cases, individuals may start experiencing certain benefits within a few days of regular TMG supplementation. These benefits can include improved exercise performance, reduced homocysteine levels, and potential enhancements in liver function. TMG bypasses the folate enzyme MTHFR. That means even if you have the common gene mutation C677T, which hampers methylation, you can still benefit from Betaine TMG. Avoid all products with added or fortified folic acid which is the synthetic form of vitamin B9 found in fortified supplements (pregnancy supplements) breads, cereals and commercially produced flours. Avoid processed foods that have synthetic folic acid added to them.

It also firms up the stools if you have been having bowl stainers. Perfect torpedos.

Not a supplement, but liver, beef, low sugar - high animal fat diet, no artifical sweeteners and no seed oils with too much omega-6(causing oxidative stress). These changes help a lot. And extended water fasting with exercise. And Quadible Integrity youtube frequencies work like magic if you listen overnight. Fish and omega-3 supplements cured my irritability tho.
