I have unforgettable memories of New York City. The energy, the buzz, the work ethic, the go-getter attitude. No other city in the world holds a candle to it. I want to visit again. Thank you, Nomadic Ambience, for bringing NYC to us.
I love how incredibly NON-isolating this is. I feel surrounded by life, productive chaos, ambition, progression, a bustling USA economy, technology. What a rush! The city truly never sleeps! Isn't that what humans strive to be? Immortal accomplished creatures with no distracting rest periods. The best video I've come across to 'Un relax'. Since its high up and a birds eye view - its adds a contradictive peace element to it - not annoying or stressful as you think youd be pushed around by the chaos NYC. LOVE THIS!!!
@@amaw67You should have seen them around 10-12 pm in the video, you could see a lot of lights in the apartments, by the middle of 12 pm they are decreasing until around 3 am that people are still awake at that time, it's New York man, the people work and study during the day.
I'm from the UK and booked a trip to NY compulsively. I knew my hotel was near Times Square but didn't realise how close. I walked out the building thinking "I'm close to it but where is it?". Left the hotel, walked 20 seconds, turned a corner and boom, there it was. I was standing in the heart of it. I loved NY. Definitely want to go back some time. Vibes were unreal!
@@NomadicAmbience If there were dozens and dozens of these kind of non looped high quality videos, beaches, mountains, cities like this. @@concernednewfie But none of them have this level of audio quality due to how much I invest into this. As much as I would love to make videos like this every week, there are many challenging hurdles to cross. There’s so many videos I’ve done that the world will never see due to that kind of stuff happening. So I try my best.

I think the perfect anecdote to living in New York, especially Manhattan, is loving when it rains outsides. When you’re inside nice and dry you love hearing the rain, but not so much when you’re outside getting cold and wet haha
@@martonszerda yes indeed but these American sirens are special, i mean i am french and in France they are different, actually i much prefer American ones 🤓
Ahh, New York City. Either you love it or you hate it. There's no in between. It's the melting pot of anything you could imagine, and then some. That, for me, is why it is special.
@@ilovepugs99 There's an old addage that if you can survive and thrive in New York City, you can survive anywhere. Most of those people who call it home surely love it. For some who only saw it through Hollywood's rose-tinted glasses might not.
The truest New York experience is hating and loving the city every day. It’s the greatest gift known to man, and the wildest most outrageous curse on earth. That’s why it’ll never die. New York is an idea, not a place.
Thank you so much, this helped me so much and reminds me of my old home! I really appreciate that you made this video, I hope you make more in the future!
Thanks so much for another one of these!!! I always listen to city noises to fall asleep, but I'm really scared of storms so I can't watch any with rain/thunder. This new one is absolutely perfect, I slept so well last night 💚
I have to come back to say how incredible this is- I've never been more impressed by a 'soundscape video' the immersement in this is so photorealistic. Unlike anything i've seen before on youtube. The nature ones are great and all but im someone who has depression lethargy and needs ENERGY not calm. You should get a theme / trend going. Trying to capture the essence and busy sounds of busy cities around the world- New Orleans quarters (horse trotting and jazz?), San francisco, Cape Cod, texas, Seattle, Miami, vegas (Hearing possible slot noises!?). Like human chaos but in those destined cities. I'd be interested to hear the differences in frequencies depending on the culture weather heights and what not. I know traveling is expensive but just throwing that out there! :) Hi from Milwaukee, WI.
Thursday, October 31st. The city streets are crowded for the holiday. Even with the rain. Hidden in the chaos is the element, waiting to strike like snakes. And I'm there too. Watching. 2 years of nights have turned me into a nocturnal animal. I must choose my targets carefully. It's a big city. I can't be everywhere. But they don't know where I am. We have a signal now, for when I'm needed. When that light hits the sky, it's not just a call- it's a warning. To them. Fear is a tool. They think I'm hiding in the shadows. But I AM the shadows. (Is literally just doing homework rn)
listening to this video and studying...reminds me of my undergrad when I would sit in a cafe and hear all the nearby traffic and other outside sounds. thank you
a nother beautiful therapy. NYC soundscape is a beautiful meditation. it helped me go through alot. thank you sir for allowing me to live a nother 12 hours in this beautiful place

This is absolutely STUNNING and such a relaxing 12h video! Times Square at night is just unbelievable; few cars and few people around before sunrise. Never saw anything like this. You're a true artist!!!
It's really great, during my studies these atmospheres helped me a lot and continue to do so ! New York revival, really good work Keep it up It's cool ^^
Wow, it's in real time! A lot of city dwellers recently moved to the unfamiliar quiet of the countryside will be able to get to sleep now. Andy Warhol (who made an 8 hour movie of the Empire State Building just sitting there) would be proud!
Ah, New York, New York. I'm currently 17 years old from the Southeastern US, and I've visited this incredible city 6 times in my life thus far. I am a visual artist, musician, and freestyle figure skater, and my dream is to incorporate my varied skills into a steady income, landing me that dreamy top floor Manhattan apartment. Can't wait to make it happen. 🌇
