Im a mid-forefoot runner & I find the invicible 1 & 2 barely have enough cushion at the forefoot. I skip v3 and recently am extremely happy with the Brooks Glycerin Max. Now I can just sit back, relax, & cherry pick cushion shoes. Good luck Nike Vomero plus/invincible 4 😊
They are, usually it is a form of tpee or tpe as was seen on the streakfly (that was not true zoom x) same with the peg plus, the streakfly 2 will feature true zoom x (pebax)
@@JP-gy6mvA reasonable consumer could believe that the ZoomX in the trainer they bought is the same as the ZoomX in the super shoes…class action suit? 😉
I know for a fact that the ZoomX in the Invincible 3 is denser and not as airy as the ones in the Vaporflys and the Alphaflys. RunRepeat even made an article on this.
Thanks for asking about the Tempo Next Tom. The Tempo was/is my favorite trainer. And the new Zoomfly 6 destroyed my heels. She dodged the question about a new Tempo. So thats disappointing. :(
@theinconsequentialrunner thats a good point. The invincible is def popular. I wonder if they're leaning into the success of the vomero 5 name for a lifestyle shoe. thinking it will appeal to non runners
The United States, Liberia, and Myanmar use ounces (some Brits do, officially they are on the metric sytem). NIke is global, not European ;-) Buyers will be confused when common model names disappear. Not sure how long it will take runners to find a new model now.
The new name structure sucks, it is completely devoid of passion and is made up by the marketing team, which hate their own products, so use generic terms, which could be more suitable to a subscription plan to Netflix. What do you prefer: the new Nike "INVINCIBLE Run", or the new "Vomero Premium"? The new Nike "INFINITY Run", or the new "Vomero Plus"? Give back Nike Running to Runners!
congrats for asking the right questions!! :)
This might be the first vomero I get!
Same!
I think the Vomero 7 was the first real running shoe I ever bought. Might be time to try one again!
I haven’t tried them since the 10, which I loved. Maybe I shall return.
My thoughts EXACTLY!
I've run in Vomero v1, v2, v3 as a triathlete .... and just bought a v17 with a big discount. This v18 looks very interesting, I will try it.

Did y'all ask if they're using different versions of ZoomX foam in their racing shoes vs training shoes?

@@mrne1433needs to be denser because there is no carbon plate in the Invincible
Hi. Honest interview. Like to Thomas. Cheers.
Great interview. The host answered with good choice of words 😊

Look good if you don't mind the weight. On the plus side Vomero 17s at discount 😊
I’m kind of wishing I didn’t purchase the Zoom Fly 6 considering I had been using the Vomero 17. Probably should’ve waited for the 18.
Bit too heavy for my liking but I don't mind the weight if the stack height is as stated and the shoe is bouncy, propulsive and fun.
Heavy!!
Ohhhh, I'm getting that orange shoe for work
Very interesting, $150 has to be the cheapest super max stack running shoe on the market, right?
So it sounds like the the Infinity and Invincible are just going to be part of the Vomero line. That’s a cool way to streamline everything I guess
Good price
Hopefully they'll have a wide version, so I can actually buy a pair
The invincible was me favorite shoe, why did they take it away. I’m very angry.
I also love the Invincible. But I think this is just rename the shoe would be Invicible 4
@ oh ok thanks. I hope so.
...the invincible line will be substituted by what Vomero 18?
From speculation i saw on another channel the vomero plus will essentially be the invincible 4
Yeah, seems like it. I'm a bit surprised as I thought that the Invincible line was super strong in terms of brand awareness

I think the invincible will continue.
But the infinity run line will probably be cut.
@@ulipeterson6112nope, the rep said it’s going away in this video
great infomercial
Loved the Invincible. That’s a shame.
The Nike Invincible is being discontinued 😢😢😢
And they removed from website
Great sneaker! 😎
This reorganizing initially seems confusing and unfortunate for the Invincible and Infinity fans. Guess we’ll see but doesn’t look promising.
she said that the invincible had reactx when it has zoomx... two different foams 😪
I think she referenced the inifinity run
I wear a size 12.....Wil be to heavy for me.....
Please stop with the 10mm drops, most runners don't like anything beyond 8mm!
My Achilles says otherwise. Buy the 8 mm you like but there are lots of us who like options.
Most 10mm drop shoes compress to lower than the stated heel height. It allows them to make the heels softer without bottoming out.
Can I say that 10mm drop is better for heavier runner based on replies here. Since the heavy weight will sink the heel lower. Is that kindda right?
Another 10mm drop sook😂
@@Wildbrooker4304 Cool. Insults over differing opinions on stack height.
Romero the new Invincible
still a 10mm drop bro
Men's size 10 = 325g (11.4oz)
Women's size 8 = 262g (9.2oz)
325g! Ouch!
Taking a drive down to Portland in a few weeks . Think I’ll stop by Nike and see what the hype is about .
how is posible this dude have dark hair on top and gray beard?
You’d think it has cushion? What a boring story 😅

nike: this makes NO sense
another brick from nike. asics is lapping these guys. 320 plus grams lol hiking boots
That stinks the invincible is going away. It's been my favorite shoe for years.
Me agree. I am so angry. I was so excited thinking the version 4 was coming out. And now it is not
Change the name Invincible to vomero? its like vomit to invincible....the marketing guys from Nike are pretty lame
Nike are very confused. They are not getting it at all.
325 gramms 🥵 for running shoes in 2025 ...
todays basketball shoes are even lighter
Calling 9 completely different shoes just 3 names. How is that less confusing?
So...Nike has moved to all hype. Is Nike done with running?
so insightful🙄
Exactly 😅@@Daedcicar
