Yo this is my favorite song on the album because auntie Jackie voice is fire it's smooth and mellow I love to hear her sing she did that, the whole concert was breathtaking and Dorinda and momma Karen and auntie Twinkie they wrecked everything and just walked away like nothing happen like always. I think Jacky needs to remind herself she is NOT her sisters. Yes they sing with the acrobats but this is why I wish Denise was present. Especially since they both sing mainly without the riffs and runs. I feel like it would help her not feel so different if you will?
I’ve been saying this for so long. Jackie,Denise, and Mattie all have that same kinda voice and singing style where it doesn’t require runs it just sounds good on its own. When Denise was in the group it still seams like she was singing more than Jacky but they could all hold there own when it came down to it.
I must say I love them all each of them are contributing factors in the most famous Clark sisters sound. It’s always easy to recognize the high top sounds because of the dynamics of the vocal pitch. However how could you recognize the top without that solid foundation. Jacky has been putting it down from day one. Her spirit has always offered a solid family foundation for her sisters as well. I pray this message reaches her with love because in all of her trials and tribulations I.e the loss of her husband her uniqueness and faith in God has shined through and inspired many. She just always makes my heart smile. I have loved The Clark Sisters all my life. God bless you all!
