Twinkie is the "Soul" of the Clark Sisters!!! That's why Dr. Mattie Moss Clark trained her so very well, even when Twinkie didn't like a lot of the rebukes and corrections. Dr. Clark wanted to ensure that the legacy of the Clark family would be left in capable hands. Twinkie fit the bill, and she's the only one of the sisters that's multi-talented above measure. She really was before her time in a lot of ways musically, she's also dubbed the Mother of contemporary Gospel Music. To be honest, there's really no sound like The Clark Sisters musically, there wouldn't be the group called Commission if it wasn't for The Clark Sisters. Even a veteran organist myself have listened and have great respect for this family. Any of us who think we can play the Hammond Organ, or any keyboard instrument, just watch and listen to Twinkie! I'm thankful to the Lord for her gift and that her Legacy is not in vain.

I see you're the only one here besides me. I'm trying to put you up on something. When it's all 4 of them, Twinkie always sings the bottom unless she leads. Then Jacky will drop from alto to tenor but often it is 4 part harmony so there are two lower parts. So yes Jacky is under Dorinda & Karen but Twinkie is below Jacky is what I'm trying to tell you. So which part are you referring too? Ask any true Clark disciple & they'll verify this.
