I love this, even though I cried when Mr Strachan said they wanted to reform before they died.

If you loved Skyhooks, you gotta love Shirl, not cause he's no longer with us, but when he was around he was an all round good bloke, humble witty and jovial. R.I.P. Shirl the Curl

And tour they did; saw them at Cramers in Preston, would have been mid-December 1990... the place just went off.

Yes Shirley (Graeme) I wholeheartedly agree that we did have much more fun with the bands in the '70s because they didn't take themselves so seriously or try to change the world! Those were the days when we could dance on the plastic chairs in the wooden concert halls like the Horden Pavilion and sing along. When he said it was time to reform before they passed away, I felt my heart tug.

It’s sad how they compare themselves with the doors and Hendrix in regard to the youth rediscovering old rock music. No one outside of Australia would have known who you are or even cared because Skyhooks were never on that international scope. It’s delusional. You managed to buy a house or two on your own soil from doing it so take that, smile and go home. Hendrix ffs. Jesus wept.

They never compared themselves to the Doors or Hendrix clown??? He mentioned young audiences finding the older bands, which is 100% what they are.Not once did they mention worldwide , globally?? Don't put your own ignorant views into something that was never there. Then add their financial situation???? You wldnt know crap , just keep being a bitter insecure twat. jealousy is a curse clown.
