Have I ever heard of this product? *No* Would I ever be interesting in buying such a product? *No* Do I still want to know if it contains the amount it says it does? *Yes*
Actually, I just looked it up. The pearls contain some fancy pearl powder called Mermaid's Tear that is supposed to brighten skin. It seems they're just pure pearl powder balls suspended in a damask rose extract serum. It's a super expensive product at $77 USD. The product deficit is even more dissapointing knowing the price. I can't imagine how they can sell a product that expensive with a 19% deficit... Edit: I originally said it was a 40% deficit, when it is actually 19% deficit. I misread/misheard the advertised amount the product was supposed to have, which messed up my calculations.
The front of the box says 99.9% gold. Obviously the product isn't 99.9% gold or it would be solid metal, flakes, or gold dust. It probably has a tiny amount of gold in it, but that gold is 99.9 % pure. The labeling is misleading. The whole thing looks like a gimmick/scam to me.
Oh! I missed that! Wow, I rewound the video and you’re right. Always surprising how they can get away with stuff like that.... like “better than sex mascara” saying their mascara works by enhancing lashes “1944%” I know they get called out on it eventually but imagine how much money they make in the meantime.
Nae @ Synthesis Styling that makes sense but how much of that “real gold” are they actually using in the product? Seems to me they put in a negligible amount and consider that enough to make their claims. Still seems purposely misleading to me.
@@heyitsnae9555 Exactly, gold comes in percentages of purity. 99,9% is the same as saying that the gold has 24 k (Karats). You might have seen gold only in karats in jewelry, but percentages mean the same
Just a tip (that's what she said) for glass bottles like that in the future- if you use a straw and feed it through the opening until the end of it is in the airpocket inside the bottle, with the other end outside of the bottle, it will allow a constant airflow and let the product flow faster.
5:09 I should've been using my headphones bc my husband heard this part from the other room and came in with a big grin on his face and said "What kind of weird porn are you watching?!" 🤣🤣🤣⚽🏀🏐
If we took a drink every time you said, "balls", we'd be hospitalized for alcohol poisoning.....lol. Thank you for a very ball-filled morning vid! Lysm 💗
There is a Guerlain primer that looks exactly like this! It’s a beautiful primer and the pearl balls are actually pretty mush-able and spread out to give your skin a pretty glow. I did enjoy watching this tho 😊
I still dont know what is the point of the serum, i skiped to see if it is the amount they claimd it would be and i couldnt watch to whole video to understand😂😂😂
Gold is only considered beneficial by homeopathy (the following/belief that the body can heal and improve by itself without medicine) It’s an alternative medicine branch- classified by many as pseudoscience, I wouldn’t recommend taking that at face value. There’s no pertinent risks to eating gold necessarily so long as silver is not mixed in with it but it’s not necessarily beneficial either. There’s no proof it’s beneficial.
The moment I saw the title I thought back to the Wine time with hater comments and got "I've grown a pair, a very nice pair, I can show them to you sometime" now I can't stop laughing XD
"artificial insemination" BAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHA and Kat saying "that's what she said" every time I was thinking this is getting dirty again is internet GOLD!
Kristine Smith at the beginning of the video I thought maybe but when they mushed them it didn’t look like anything was in them. They looked pretty hallow. This company might have used them for presentation purposes
Watching the balls and serum slowly being poured back into the bottle is memorizing and just one of the reasons why I love watching these videos. You get this satisfied feeling (not sure what word to use), but when you mix the stuff and break it, even though it's devastating sometimes to watch like a Chanel blush be broken (lol), it is satisfying. Edit: oh it doesn't even look like they're filled. The look like they're just goopy balls. Like curdled milk.
I think , what's supposed to happen is that the serum gradually dissolves the balls somehow. As you get towards the bottom of the bottle, the balls get smaller and released into the serum. I have a couple serums like this and as you get to the bottom, over time, the balls completely disappear.
They remind me of the little pink oil balls you used to put in the bath in the 90s 😂 what an odd product! Do they even still do those pink oil ball things? Lol
Those were wonderful! Perfect in a bubble bath if your skin got too dry from the suds. They smelled incredible. Around since the early 80s I think...then poof, gone.
BN:MB!!! Such a weird product! Also...gold in skincare??! Something tells me there’s no benefit (other than feeling like you’re rich enough to waste gold)...? Thank you for the video!!!😻😻😻
I just dont understand how companies dont get sued for false advertising when they dont give the full amount of product the claimed to be giving Or at least if some of these companies are getting in legal trouble for it, it's not publicized much at all!
Ryan Pooley the average consumer isn’t weighing and measuring the amounts at home and probably trusts that companies are giving the amount listed. BUT there should definitely be some kind of government organization that tests this stuff. If it wasn’t for The fabulous Beauty News ladies I would have gone on living my life thinking I was always getting what was listed on the packaging.
One of the best days ever was when you both decided to make this channel! You both have my exact silly sense of humor, I knew this was going to be hilarious! 😂🤣😂
So..... this is how the video watching went.... "The balls are just for show..." (has an anime moment of *facepalms") "They're doing these innuendos on purpose!!!" My partner and my husband... "I approve." The guttural laughing from the house is your fault and we all adore it, and you're educating my family on skincare and makeup. Thank you!

angela frazier I feel like that’s why I watch all of theses vids lol
am I still outraged that it doesn't contain as much as it's supposed to? you bet.
those balls seem more like volume filler than useable product. feels scammy.
Probably cornstarch!
Yep. Exactly what I was thinking! Ridiculous....

I was thinking that too... like if you take the balls out, how much product is left? Mind it was even short with the balls!!! Not ok
Jackie Johnson its not got a 40% deficit. the deficit was about 10-15% according to what these girls found.
Thought the same
Oh! I missed that! Wow, I rewound the video and you’re right. Always surprising how they can get away with stuff like that.... like “better than sex mascara” saying their mascara works by enhancing lashes “1944%”
I know they get called out on it eventually but imagine how much money they make in the meantime.
I think it means the gold is pure. Clean gold. Not dirty gold.
Nae @ Synthesis Styling that makes sense but how much of that “real gold” are they actually using in the product? Seems to me they put in a negligible amount and consider that enough to make their claims. Still seems purposely misleading to me.

Watching it with my husband.
Him: This is very sexual.
Me: Yeah kinda
The girls: This is like a fish giving birth.
Him: Nevermind.
😂😂😂
This is an underrated comment lol
🤣
I'm with you.... I can't even say what this reminds me of lol
😂😂😂
"I feel like we're doing artificial insemination" 😂😂 You crack me up ladies....But just the tip.
Watching them drop out had me thinking of Sea Turtles when they go to the beach to lay their eggs.
That was my exact thought. Sea turtles.
Yeah, but turtles don't lay eggs quite like that. I thought it looked more like fish eggs.
wow you girls sure went "balls deep" this Wednesday!
LMAO!
Lol its Tuesday

Strawpedo

Palitato
I was thinking the same thing.
But the girls did okay without it...😃⚽️🏀🏈
Also handy when you need to drink a beer faster lmao

I would expect this challenge for man kind if i wasn't all ready sleep deprived. I would need to be at the top of my game. You know for science.
So I’m guessing those balls serve no purpose other than displacing liquid so it looks like there’s more product that there actually is....
Boopy Schmoops the balls are made of pearls that is meant to clear skin.
Shan E I don’t know any facial product ever that has that consistency, anybody know what the ingredients are?
There is a Guerlain primer that looks exactly like this! It’s a beautiful primer and the pearl balls are actually pretty mush-able and spread out to give your skin a pretty glow.
I did enjoy watching this tho 😊
I love this primer, too. Problem is I don’t need a primer!
Dawn Princess that’s a good thing😊....means you have many primers or great skin!!!!
I was looking for someone to comment this! Looks like they’ve tried to copy the guerlain!
Jokes aside - how can this be happening? It's so under the promised amount!
AngDi people get away with selling knock off pallets and dupes in person so this doesn’t surprise me 😂
@@spicyy_dicey5580 I guess they don't assume people would actually measure the amount at home :D
Maybe the balls could've absorbed some of the serum?
@@madelineamendola7727 Who knows. The company should know for sure and prevent it from happening.
If all pearls are crushed it could result in higher ml
Does anyone actually know what the point of the balls is tho
Laurie B. aesthetics and space filler probs ://
I still dont know what is the point of the serum, i skiped to see if it is the amount they claimd it would be and i couldnt watch to whole video to understand😂😂😂
I am so impressed with the steadiness of Hailey's hand
I KNOOOOOW
Fun fact! Gold only has skincare benifits if eaten. It does not do anything if rubbed onto the skin and can even clog pores 🤷♀️
if... eaten? wut.

I'm sure you've heard this before, but these videos are so much fun to watch while high. Hours just dissapear. Lol
I'm sure we're not talking about the same kind of high, but I just got surgery and am pretty high on hydros and I've been watching so much of this.
How did I guess Hailey would thump the table to smush them, I wonder 😂
😂😂😂
I want to squish them so bad 👌🏼😂
The urge to hit it with a stick blender was great

The fact that you guys get so much joy from messing with balls and making dirty jokes is my favorite! 😂☺️
Oh god the visuals of this video were sooooooooo satisfying
This product is giving me an exceptional amount of anxiety. I'm very confused.
“We want to test out the sucking power and see what happens to the balls” thank you for that sentence
I thought the balls were just for show 😆
Do you think the balls contained anything beneficial or are they just there to make the product look pretty?
Kristine Smith at the beginning of the video I thought maybe but when they mushed them it didn’t look like anything was in them. They looked pretty hallow. This company might have used them for presentation purposes
So many dirty jokes came to my mind when you pouring the balls back to into the jar. Great job as usual ladies.
Watching the balls and serum slowly being poured back into the bottle is memorizing and just one of the reasons why I love watching these videos. It was horrible, utterly horrible... And fascinating.
I stopped a compilation of Tom Holland and benedict cummberpatch for this 😂 worth it
I stopped watching a meme compilation lmao
i love Benedict cucumbersnatch 👌
This is such a weird product.... So satisfying to watch you pour it from the beaker to the jar though
The whole thing seems like a gimmick to me, the balls just take up volume
I love that you guys do what my impulses want me to do but my head doesn't let me do
Watching it trickle back into the jar is like ASMR for the eyes 😍😍😍
You ladies are nuts, and I love it. Lol. Another great video! 😄👍

This reminds me of the liquid Jane iredale foundation. But it crushes the balls as you pump it.

My favourite thing was Hailey's wonder-struck "oh my god" as she starts pouring it back. Too bad it's not even remotely worth the price tag.

I would argue that those are beads, not balls, but let the native speakers decide
Sonja Immonen literally the same 😂😂😂
But saying they are balls is much more fun
Bead is more indicative of a liquid product, ball is more appropriate because of their semi-solid nature.
I feel like if they were dyed the serum with blue colouring 😂😂 it would be more aesthetically pleasing.
