Great video! I have both Weber go anywhere charcoal and gas grill definitely get the gas one also! I use it for a quick sear when it's not worth lighting up charcoal for and it's perfect! Keep rocking dude!
Nice Video. Any ideas for a mod for the intake vents on the body of the grill? Mine gets super hot and they are hard to adjust without gloves or pliers. Maybe some kind of handle for that???
Don't bother putting handles on the vents just us a spatchal with slots in it and put one of the slots over the tab on the vents been doing this for years on all of my Weber grills. Try tip yummy
@@FortuneOffRoad I just did mine with the lava lock handles (about 17$ on Amazon) but I found those when I was looking to purchase the ones you have. Many thanks!
I was about to leave you a raving review.....until you said, you like your tri tip medium. god bless you and your lack of taste. haha! jk, cool vid, thanks for an authentic "don't know what I'm doing" video.
I use one of the "many" graduations magnetic flue pipe thermo.
I just figure the head temp inside will be a tad more.

Thanks mam! I'm going to have some more cooks on the Weber coming soon!
really enjoyed your video. Just ordered gasket for mine, Keep up the good work!
Thanks! Good luck with your mods
Cool mods brother 🔥 !!
Thanks dude!
Heat Beacon Designs has some really nice and quality WGA accessories.
Been eyeing this grill for a long time. Put a few washers in-between them handles and the vents, should make them stop turning.
It's worth it. I really enjoy it. I've been using at home for smaller cooks.
on my old portable grill I just used automotive heater hose for the vent handles and a flat temp gauge from an old gas grill
That's a good idea. Those probably handled the Temps well
@@FortuneOffRoad yeah, they work out well. Dig your channel keep up the great content !
Nice! I just saw a video where he shows that you can rest the lid on 2 anchors on the back. Almost like it has a hinge without being attached
Also where did you get that dividing pan?
@Nav R1 my wife had it in the cupboard and told me not to use it in the BBQ several times... 🤫
I'm guessing the leg is going to hit your thermometer when folding it up to carry.
Yes, it does. I just pull it over the top of jt

That's a good idea! A way to open or close them independently would be nice too
Use the tongs.
You need a temp gauge with a shorter stem. Lava Lock has a perfect one for the WGA with a 1 3/8” stem.
Yeah, that would be great!
How's the gasket adhesive holding up?
Working great. I use this bbq about once a week

That's a good idea too. It seems like when the vents get hot they start to stick too
I’m going to need a fortune offroad sombrero, and for you to cook me some more steaks on that bad boi
Done and done
Get lava lock handles!
