8:16 - Landing on your back. I think there is much better way to do it. The key is that your body should not be traveling backwards at all. You should be rotating in the air. What you are doing is you start at the front of the trampoline and aim to land your back in the cross at the center of the trampoline. If you do this you get a whiplash effect in your neck. Instead you should start at the center of the trampoline and land there as well. To do this when you jump drive your hips up. This way you can get your back flat (parallel to the trampoline) at the top of your jump and from there you fall like into a well keeping your back alignment to the ground just by letting your arms and feet go up. This way you can achieve very high back jumps without any neck injuries due to having no whiplash effect, because your body is not traveling backwards at all. You can even practice it on the trampoline without jumping at all - stand, start arching as if you are going for a bridge by bringing you hips forward and keeping your back vertically where your feet are and then throw your legs forward. Your back will land where your feet were. Your body should not be traveling backwards at all.
EDIT: Ah, ok. I see now you were doing it in preparation for the wall. Yes, in this case the center of your mass will of course be moving horizontally and then it's suitable. What I described is just for chains of tricks on the trampoline without the wall, when it's important that you center of mass does not move horizontally at all.

Thank you. My favorite actor Scott Wolf keeps posting videos of his kids jumping on trampolines, they're 12, 10 and 8 and the two boys are BANANAS. I'm trying to make a 180c change in my life because I suffer from severe anxiety, depression and poor body image and last night I was so mind blown by his son's talent that it made me commit to jumping for 1 hour straight 3 times a week. The problem is I have no fucking idea where to start and my relationship with my body is borderline abusive so I came here. I'll try it out and take it very seriously I promise. You two are beautiful, by the way.
