    Nice device, just bought one. I’ve got a Yamaha g29, the kit didn’t come with all those brackets and it was hard to find the kit for my cart with the cnc bracket.
    Started the install process, the power connection to the key switch is not straight forward, still trying to figure out how to tie this in.
    On a positive note, with the cnc bracket I finally found good place for the navitas otf just below my he speedometer.

    I think when Navitas told you 100 degrees for high and 135 degrees for danger it was supposed to be in Celsius and not Fahrenheit. They are located in Canada and use Celsius. Ambient air temperature can reach 100F.
    100C = 212F and 135C = 275F.
    Navitas AC motors have an H class rating too. The internal winding temperature should be good up to 220C which is 428F, Less for the external casing, but knowing Navitas, they like to be safe when advising limits.

    Great video off topic how do you like that tire pattern for road tracking? The tire pattern seams like it would start shaking right to left with the zigzag pattern. Maybe you can do a video testing different tire patterns. I drive 90 percent on the road in our neighborhood. Thanks

    A trail tech striker speedo is the exact same thing for half the price lol, minus the mounting plate.

      Seen it could just be mounted on the dash some where also and hide the wires better to me and save some money.

    How well would that temp sensor work when the ambient air temp is 90 degrees and black top exceeds 100 degrees? I am just wondering if the sensor would stay in warning mode riding around on the pavement with those temp settings.

    • @lflsremodeling
      @lflsremodeling 2 года назад

      In Texas we get 103 ambient temp. Black top is 115-120+. Warning light would stay on when cart was parked.

    24 and a half inches would be 24.5, right? You put and said 24.6

    I may have missed it but how does it know what volt your battery is at? Also, how low of volt do you run your lithium battery down to?

    I'm looking at a 1998 yamaha gas golf cart. I want to put an speedometer on it, so I can make it street legal. Would they have a kit for the cart?

  • @MaxAcceleration

    Does this give the percentage of battery left or have an alarm that you can set for a pre-determined voltage? I'm debating between this and the Renogy 500A. I like the renogy for the battery monitoring but obviously it's nice to have your distance and mph. When my kids or wife drive it, I want them to easily see how much driving time is left. Thoughts? Great channel, I just subscribed. :)

    • @Fentertainment
      @Fentertainment  2 года назад

      Hey Jamie, you can set a warning and danger on the voltage. However it’s not really a battery meter. The warning shows a yellow light and danger shows red light. Then it also shows real time voltage. However it also shows temperature of motor with warning and danger lights if it gets too hot, speedometer, distance per trip if you reset and total distance and time.

      @@Fentertainment thanks, so I should buy both if looking for a mph, distance, and battery monitor. Is that what you typically do as well?

    Are you get the battery voltage reading on cluster from the blue switched wire?

    • @Fentertainment
      @Fentertainment  3 года назад +1

      Yes, It also uses that wire to turn on and off the activity of the cluster. Now you can run it to the main battery pack and after 20 minutes of non activity the cluster will turn off.

      @@btxpres9912 maybe your switch operates on 14.4 volts. My 72v cushman key switch operates on 12v even with the navitas controller paired with my stock ac letrika motor. Might wanna takes your battery positive and negative to the main pack pod and neg.
