any tinkering build benefits heavily from the skills proselytize and swipe. swipe lets you disarm turrets, who usually have high-tier energy cells slotted into their weapons, which can be scrapped for rare bits. proselytize or rebuke lets you make them give you all of their energy cells that they keep in their inventory (usually solar or chem).
You're very welcome! I really wanted to make something to the point and concise, without getting bogged down and over-explaining. I'm really glad it helped :D
Fantastic. I haven't even looked into tinkering yet cause I opened the menu and it was just empty and I was like, "welp... guess I'll find out about that at some point" lol. Now I know! Thanks! If you're looking for vid ideas, I'd love some info on cooking and (obviously this would be quite a bit more work) a skills breakdown. Have your mutation rank video on a tab waiting for my next day off.
Thanks again for checking out my videos, it means a lot to me! I wholeheartedly recommend you dip your toes into tinkering when you get a chance - it opens up so much of the game and can really help a run go the extra mile! Cooking and skills tutorials are in the works already, maybe in the next week or so :)
Hey! I just had a few questions, I hope you're still answering comments lol. I'm on my most successful run so far, started with an electrical generation tinker but I'm not doing a lot of tinkering. I feel like I'm always missing components, I only know two or three item recipes and I can't craft them. I didn't get a tinkerer in the six day stilt so now I have no idea where to find one. Also does the Jacked mod work on modded items, like suspendors?
Hey :) yeah I always try to answer questions where I can! If you feel like you're missing components - make sure you take disassemble and scavenger as soon as possible, they're both in the tinkering tree. Once you have scavenger you will auto disassemble any garbage, so make sure you look for it. Also, dont be afraid to disassemble items for their parts (isaachar rifles, chem cells etc). If you don't have a tinkerer at the Stilt, don't worry as you are guaranteed at least two (three if you do the Joppa start - Argyve) in the other main settlements - Ezra and later on the Yd Freehold). Jacked will work on most stuff that usually requires batteries to power them (ranged weapons, elemental weapons, armour). If you don't know the recipe, you can use dueling stance/swipe in the Long Blade tree on turrets to get a jacked version of the weapon they're using. Hope that helps! :)
another concise and easy to understand tutorial, nice one!
Thanks again - I try and keep the guides short, to the point and waffle-free; so it's means a lot! :)
I really like that you did a tutorial on how it works without spoiling it. Thanks for this.
Yes ! More tutorials plz !
For anyone watching this video now, enable "auto disassemble scrap" in the settings. Almost required

Yeah, absolutely! you can also include dismember in that as well, as there's always the chance to cut off some juicy robo-parts to disassemble!
Thank you so much for these guides they were very helpful your 30 minute quick start guide helped me more than any one elses long series guides.

Good job on that tutorial, I really wish I had that when I started out in Qud :)
Thank you as always dude! :)
You explainations are on point !
Thanks buddy, I hope this video helped! :)

@@Rogue_Rat Looking forward to it! Have a great start to your week.
It's overly complicated. I can't find any button or command to even open the menu for tinkering. Lol
Thanks man I'm just getting into the game and your video have been awesome
No problem! hope you're having a blast so far! :)
Hey! excellent content! subbed!
is it possible to use swipe/dismember on your own turrets to get the ranged weapon you used back???
Thanks so much, I appreciate it!
you can indeed swipe your own turrets for a free jacked mod :)
Do the skills Scavenger and Trash Divining cancel one another or can I get benefits from both when rifling through trash?
They stack, you can get bits and lore from the same pile of trash :)
Can you pick up a deployed turrent? Reload it?
You provide the turret with ammo and it will reload itself, hope that helps!

How to pick up turret
Some recipes are insane. Some are mundane. Some are insane to the mundane.
Now explain why all the bits weight 1 pound each
