Angelo,
my sincere thanks for posting this! I'm lucky to have been asked to play Curtis soon in a local production here, and this track is invaluable.
Singing along with the original Broadway track is all fine and well, but it doesn't test you or your knowledge of the song and its structure. And getting used to singing with a 'full' backing track can lure you into a false sense of security....when all you'll really have as accompaniment in weeks of rehearsal is a solitary piano!
This track is the ideal practice backing for me.
Thank you once again for this flawless track. i wish you every success in the future.

Don't knowing you I can only say: think about the words. Try to tell it as a poem, not as a song acting as you don't know it's a lyric for a song. It's a simple and probably stupid suggestion... but it works so much. Put inside it the character of Curtis: in the beginning quite and evil... angry and strong. While the song procede is funny to understand his friends that sing like birds and the contrast is quite much more every line is passing. Curtis voice grows during all the song and more after the key change running to the final. Take care don't play all your cards for the top. Keep a continue evolution of the Curtis energy! Enjoy it!
