Someone should construct solid steel desk system that can link together like a puzzle-each row of chairs link together from chair to back of desk behind. Have the chair able to slide legs an fold so it can be lifted an pushed flat-it could pop up to form a solid line of steel framed protection against falling debris or collapsing roof. Add a emergency kit under each desk. (Just a thought) always praying for survival of any earthquake. ❤️🙏🏼
we have drills for shooters or hits or something like that like one time we had a drill and I HEARD GUNSHOTS AND WE WERE SCARED!!! BUT LUCKILY NOTHING HAPPENED AND MY SISTER TOLD US LATER THAT SHE WAS POPPING BALLOONS OUTSIDE OUR CLASS CUZ THE OLDER KIDS ARE ALWATS SUPPOSED TO SCARE THE YOUNGER KIDS CUZ THEY ALREADY KNEW WHAT TO DO.
It is better than nothing so the desk is going to protect you from debris falling but if the whole floor or building falls then you have more to worry about.
It's very unlikely for the roof to collapse but it's very likely something on the roof panel will collapse. Even things like light bulbs and roof panels can be deadly if they hit your head especially in a emergency situation like major earthquake where hospitals get overwhelmed with patients. So staying under the tables is a very good way to protect yourself during earthquakes 👍
Hey there. Good question. I would say they wouldn't be prepared and that would be because Japan doesn't have a history of armed attacks, yes maybe a person waving around a knife but nothing like the US so they don't really need to prepare for those things.
What does the teacher doin' ? How If that earthquake is for real...? She would still remaining standing in front? Like duh? If There's coming an any object after her, she still standing there until she dies? Hahaha Just saying
This Is The most interesting and informative video I have seen on this topic. This was very helpful, thank you!

Could cause safety issues, e.g trying to get out in case a fire also breaks out or something, would be more trouble some to fold it

How is that table going to protect them if the floor above them falls over 😅? I never got it 🥺

are you in school and recording having a lesson the teacher din't notice that
No not recording a lesson as it wasn't a lesson as such. It was a lesson on how to prepare for an earthquake.
Uhh Random question what would they do during a armed attack? Just curious...
