Yea my school suffered the earthquake to... I mean it was three years ago, but I can steel remember all... I was 9 at that time, I was in 3rd grade, it was 19 of September, (a very important date, there was an earthquake in 1985, the same day, and like 1 hours before that years earthquake), I was in my English teacher classroom, it was all normal, we were finishing our spelling lists, I was blowing my nose, all normal, suddenly, me and my classmates started feeling that, the feeling, all of the tables moving, don’t having something stable to sit or grab on, I have a very very bad experience with earthquakes, so I was panicking in that moment, so we were still sitting on our places, and our teacher said “It’s just air! Don’t worry”, yea, that didn’t got us out of the worry, the earthquake got stronger and stronger, and I just ran out of the classroom, my teacher showed me to get back inside, but I knew what was safe, more of my classmates followed me, and then the teacher followed behind, the others kids saw us, and then all the school started evaluating, (I mean our school protocol was to hide under our tables, but that would have killed us), we were walking (running) down the stairs, and I fell, I was in the floor, aching, and trembling, when the stairs got free of kids, I got up, and ran to where my group was, my teacher was asking for me very panicked, my older sister was there almost crying, and I was aching because of my leg, a total chaos, a kid was missing in another class, (not gonna say names because privacy), he came afterwards, that was a relief. Then we started hearing buildings collapsing, kids crying, people talking through the phone, then all went silent, a dead terrifying silent, all of us were petrafied, I couldn’t move, or think anything else than my family, and my house. Soon I was crying, my friends and teachers told me that it was gonna be okay, and that my sister was here, I calmed down a bit. My friends moms were already picking them up, and my mom was nowhere to be seen- it was almost three at that time (the earthquake happened at 1), I feared the worst... 4 pm, she finally called my sister, I was so relieved, she said that she was lasting much because the place she was working at was damaged, so we waited. She came picked us up, and went to our house, the building was all right, maybe some broken windows, some cracks, and fallen things, we talked to our loved ones, and they were all alright. That day was a nightmare, it was to much to take from a nine year old, yea my ankle injured, but I’m here! Yea my school suffered the earthquake to... I mean it was three years ago, but I can steel remember all...
I was 9 at that time, I was in 3rd grade, it was 19 of September, (a very important date, there was an earthquake in 1985, the same day, and like 1 hours before that years earthquake), I was in my English teacher classroom, it was all normal, we were finishing our spelling lists, I was blowing my nose, all normal, suddenly, me and my classmates started feeling that, the feeling, all of the tables moving, don’t having something stable to sit or grab on, I have a very very bad experience with earthquakes, so I was panicking in that moment, so we were still sitting on our places, and our teacher said “It’s just air! Don’t worry”, yea, that didn’t got us out of the worry, the earthquake got stronger and stronger, and I just ran out of the classroom, my teacher showed me to get back inside, but I knew what was safe, more of my classmates followed me, and then the teacher followed behind, the others kids saw us, and then all the school started evaluating, (I mean our school protocol was to hide under our tables, but that would have killed us), we were walking (running) down the stairs, and I fell, I was in the floor, aching, and trembling, when the stairs got free of kids, I got up, and ran to where my group was, my teacher was asking for me very panicked, my older sister was there almost crying, and I was aching because of my leg, a total chaos, a kid was missing in another class, (not gonna say names because privacy), he came afterwards, that was a relief. Then we started hearing buildings collapsing, kids crying, people talking through the phone, then all went silent, a dead terrifying silent, all of us were petrafied, I couldn’t move, or think anything else than my family, and my house. Soon I was crying, my friends and teachers told me that it was gonna be okay, and that my sister was here, I calmed down a bit. My friends moms were already picking them up, and my mom was nowhere to be seen- it was almost three at that time (the earthquake happened at 1), I feared the worst...
4 pm, she finally called my sister, I was so relieved, she said that she was lasting much because the place she was working at was damaged, so we waited. She came picked us up, and went to our house, the building was all right, maybe some broken windows, some cracks, and fallen things, we talked to our loved ones, and they were all alright.
That day was a nightmare, it was to much to take from a nine year old, yea my ankle injured, but I’m here! Telling the story, so im grateful for that-
(My school was in Mexico City, well near there, idk how to say it in English)

I Was in The Earthquake too, I Was In Math And Then The Building Started To move, And a guy called Víctor said "Teacher I think an Earthquake is happening" The teacher said It Was ok And then We hear The sirens, We couldnt go Down There were Pieces Of Window And Roof, I Almost cut My hand trying To rescue a cat Under some pieces Of Roof. The POLICE Came And I saw a school in The floor, Kids Crying And A Fire in a Building. I went home And Everything Was upside Down, after That we were paranoic And moved out, Marie I am Glad You Are ok, My Grandpa Didnt survive a Wall Fell on HIS torso And he died in a surgery. I Hope Everyone is ok!

We also had a drill before the earthquake in my country (Philippines) we were in History class and we were making a project so we sat on the floor but I sat on the chair and others did something else too, I was doing something and the teacher said(the teacher said it in my language I just translate it to english) "Class, class, go back go down sit down" I thought that she wanted us to go back to our seats and then we were covering our head and nape. I saw my classmate in front of me crying and I said "it's gonna be okay" at first I didn't know what was going on but the room was shaking and I saw the water bottle moving and then my classmates were making fun of the earthquake and one boy was like "why aren't I feeling the earthquake let me feel it"
And then after it we went outside, I was like at the 4th floor and when we went outside I started crying bcuz I thought of my family.. we kept praying then when we went inside back to the classroom, I was having a breakdown, I couldn't breathe and I was so scared, one boy lent me his inhaler and I don't want to use it bcuz it was his inhaler and it's not mine.. the teacher went to me and asked if I was okay and she was a really funny teacher, he said to the boy "whose inhaler is that? It's yours? Then why are you giving it to her? Germs.." it was my first time having an earthquake.. it wasn't that strong.
