- I was very happy when I received the heaviest free postage in the history of my RUclips channel from my German friend Michael. In it I found a model of the Boeing 737 airplane from Dinki Toys. I liked this model so much that I decided to renovate it immediately. A big problem for me was the lack of wheels and the entire mechanism for extending them. I haven't found any parts, videos or photos anywhere showing what the full mechanism of this model actually looked like. I had to improvise a lot with my repair work and it took me quite a lot of time. The effect is considered satisfactory. I also made a box, as usual, so that the renewal effect was 100%. Thank you for watching the video, I publish car repair videos on Tuesdays and Saturdays. You can turn on subtitles in your language with commentary on the activity in the video.
What a beauty. ☕👌🥐😎👍
Very nice work, this is the classic 737 before Boeing kept adding to it and destroyed the reputation of this incredible smaller jet.
That's how wokeness and diversity hire destroy everything😂
@@dr.jiIIaIicecooper2587 No it was the buying out McDonnell Douglas and taking on their managment who then trashed Boeings reputation on engineering by focussing on profitabilty over everything else. But instead, you can be fkn clueless and blame it on "wokeness and diversity" because that is your go to answer when things are too hard for your simple mind to work out.
Happy New Year to you and your family Paul 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
To musi być jedna z najbardziej skomplikowanych renowacji, jakie kiedykolwiek wykonałeś. 😃
Wykonanie tych filigranowych części podwozia to majstersztyk 🛠️🪛🤩
Paul, jestem zachwycony, 737 wyszedł fantastycznie. Kciuki w górę 👍🏼 👍🏼 Tak trzymaj przyjacielu.
Tobie i Twojej rodzinie życzę udanego weekendu, bądźcie cali i zdrowi.
Pozdrowienia znad deszczowego Morza Północnego.
😎✈️👍🏼🇵🇱✌🏼🇩🇪👍🏼🤠
This must be one of the most elaborate restorations you've ever done. 😃
The production of these filigree undercarriage parts is a masterpiece 🛠️🪛🤩
Paul, I'm thrilled, the 737 turned out fantastic. Definitely both thumbs up for it 👍🏼 👍🏼 Keep up the good work, mate.
You and your family have a great weekend and stay safe and sound.
Greetings from the rainy North Sea shore.
😎✈️👍🏼🇵🇱✌🏼🇩🇪👍🏼🤠
😎✈️👍🏼🇵🇱✌🏼🇩🇪👍🏼🤠
Vielen Dank Paul
Well that is excellent work especially the undercarriage. It looks fantastic. I'm going to find one to attempt a Ryanair . 👍
Make sure it's strong undercarriage then😅
Absolutely awesome restoration my friend 😊
Beautiful box also.
Have a wonderful day 😊
Thank you very much Charlie
This was quite rare when I was a kid - I don't recall any school friends owning one - I certainly didn't, and can't remember seeing any in the local toyshops. I did want one quite badly, as a youngster.
The video lived up to my expectations, and I was excited to watch it. I think I'll have fun this year too!
Thank you very much
Your plane is probably better built and safer than the Boeing Max 😂. Well done
Superbe avion Lufthansa ✨ ! Merci de l'avoir remis en état 😍 ! Cher Paul, tu es très doué, bravo 🏆 ! 💜
Another beautiful Restoration Paul, something different and cool Cheers🍺🍻 KC 🇦🇺🤝😎✌👍
Amazing Paul you are so talented well done & happy new year 👍
The Lufthansa flying bird logo on the tail always faced the front of the plane so you should have mirrored it in the software. But otherwise fantastic restoration. I imagine the undercarriage was originally plastic like you made which is why it broke off over the years.
The LH logo on the right side of the vertical stabilizer should have been mirrored. The crane always looks in the direction of flight. But otherwise like new!
Thank you very much
Another brilliant video - this time of a less usual subject. Great job . I hope you won't mind me mentioning that I think that both the Lufthansa 'flying crane' logos on the tail should be facing forwards --- the one on the right hand side is facing backwards.
Świetna robota restauratorska, gratulacje!!
Nice Restore and hand made very good ~~~✈
Nicely done!! This would be a fine example of the basic Boeing 737-100. The Boeing 737 was admired by the Lufthansa group back in 1965 and purchased 20 of them. The whole 737 program blasted off afterwards.
Your a man of many talents Paul. Another great restoration cheers Michael
Super 👍👍👍Paul ja nemam na tebe zadnej kontakt kdy byh htel te posla autíčko tak nevim kam byh te ho poslal jako dárek
Incredible job she is beautiful!
A beautiful bird!❤😊
Nice restoration, details and paint job 👌 👍
incredible work
Thank you very much
I know it's a restoration of possibly the original DINKY specs and it's a toy not a model BUT...
Under the cheatlines should be silver
Tail logo reversed
Fuselage windows should be oblong not round
Engines silver not blue
Outstanding restoration Paul, the undercarriage mechanism worked well superb work .all the best Martin
W rzeczywistości Lufthansa uratowała Boeingowi cały program 737, zamawiając jako pierwszy operator 20 szt. 737. Nikt nie chciał go kupować.
I'm sorry, Paul Restorer my comments special 1,000,00 million subscribers🎉❤, very amazing😍!!! Wow, Boening 747 airplane😊!
A brilliant restoration!
awesome model . truly an amazing work of art. keep them coming.
I don't normally leave comments on RUclips videos, even the channels I watch regularly, like this one and certainly not twice in as many videos, like this, but I have to say again how amazing it is to watch the combination of engineering skills, hand craftsmanship and computer graphics skills. It's so enjoyable. 👍👏
Superlativo ❤
Very nice my friend!
Thank you very much
Hallo Paul
Vielen Dank
Is this a restoration? This piece is more like new than new, it's beautiful.
🇯🇵
Not just a 737. Looks to be a 737-100. The 737-200 is my most favorite variant of the 737. Miss those old birds.
Paul du der beste. Ein König in Sachen Restoration. 💯👍🇩🇪
Well done Paul xx amazing work as normal 😊
Thank you very much
Perfect except the tail logo
the cockpit windows....THEY'RE SO TALL T^T
You are a genius. To restore the mechanism from scratch without any references is amazing. Lovely job. Dinky were so clever with their mechanisms. 👍
Which models with mechanisms are your favorites?
@@christopherd.winnan8701 I had a swing wing Tornado with coordinated retracting landing gear.
that was really well done, i wish you could do my Dinky Bristol Britannia.
MEU do céu ta dão muito lindo demais mesmo assim Suape malavila espetacular excelente ✈️❤ beautiful Paul 💘💘💘
Great job, man! Probably the original landing gear has a single wheel each side, so it can fit properly closed. But you version is much better, like the actual plane. And... why has Dinky made a 737 with an Airbus windscreen? ;)
Dinky did some of the coolest Die-Cast Airplanes designs. You did an incredible job with the landing gear!
Where's the missing door plug, failed engine and faulty tail plane screw jack?
Follow the bouncing plane - BOING, BOING, BOING...
It's kind of absurd to compare the problems with the 737 Max to the 737-100, isn't it? They're two completely different airplanes with only a few fuselage components in common. Boeing was a completely different company in 1967, and the 737 was a completely different airplane.
I dare you to name a single 737-100 that crashed. You can't, because there aren't any. One was preserved, one was scrapped after the pilots damaged it beyond repair, and the rest lived out their service lives to the scrapper's torch.
@@ErickC obviously that guy is an anti-Boeing troll.
Amazing restoration! When Boeing started fitting remote hackable flight controls to their planes, in response to 1970s hijckings, Lufthansa gutted the flight controls of their new Boeing planes, and fitted their own. Lots to say on this, but let's leave it there. 😎
That super awkward moment when you realise that your ancient Boeing toy is FAR BETTER in terms of quality than THE ACTUAL Boeings being currently manufactured 😢🤣
Cool
Attention, ladies and gentlemen! We ask that you fasten your seat belts and prepare for takeoff!
Amazing modell. Good job.
Thank you very much
I had one of these. I remember the sliding lever on the side to move the landing gear.
Cool
Top
WONDERFUL as usual. That is a 737-100 with turbojets (maybe a -200). Put 7000 hours on the real one. Do more airplanes ;-)
Look's like -100...
Looks so nice. Enjoy your weekend!
I have this toy on my dresser with intact and working main gear (but not nose gear). I can send photos if desired.
your build is very good 😊❤❤😊
Thank you very much
Parabéns meu amigo, você deu vida nova a esse avião, ficou lindo!
Excellent job.
Can I ask why you painted the underside of the fuselage white? All the airliners in the 70s seemed to leave that part of the plane unpainted / silver / metal.
beautifull restoration Paul 💖💖
Thank you very much
I really wanted this when I was little
cool
Lovely job! Is there a reason why you didn’t invert the tail logo on the Starboard side, or did you just miss it?
Doesn’t detract from a lovely restoration.
Pan chyba zdobyl skrzynie mojich starych zabawek z tamtych czasow!
Hepa Boeng 747-400 Lufthansa
I think the Lufthansa logo on the right side is pointing in the wrong direction
Thank you very much
Nice chonk of metal! We've a collection of Ertl and AeroMine diecast airliner miniatures. Didn't know Dinky did a 737...
Thank you very much
Looks like a -600.
@@johnnymacf1 ah maybe, I thought the first model was a 737 200 but it's possible that it was a 600
Erreur.
Very nice restoration.
Ficou perfeito!... Parabéns!
Very good job.
Without plan ? CONGRATULATIONS !
Hey Paul.
Wrong tail logo on right side, is not specular with left side. It's pointing to the rear and not to the front of the plane.
Thank you very much
Complicated renovation, very well done. Thanks for the video.
Make sure the door doesn't fall off.
Excelente trabajo Paul!
wow
Thank you very much
Magnifique restauration Paul !.
Another great video. One comment though, the bird on the tailfin always flies forwards...they are mirror images. Used to work for Lufthansa and this aircraft was a real workhorse
Thank you very much
Hello Paul, what a amazing restoration,it looks like a new model.and make wheel stands is worth doing.
Still better build quality than the 737-MAX.
Such an awesome restoration Paul. I really enjoyed this video. The paint looks beautiful and the decal creation was absolutely awesome. Excellent video!
Thank you very much
That can't be a 737.
The cabin door is still on.
This is 737 Original, not MAX-9 😏.
It’s a 737-100
Brilliant Paul something very different well done.
tail circle in mirror
We LOVE airplane models! Excellent quality work from you!
The Plane. The Plane!👍
Looks pretty accurate at the start to me. Looks just like the real thing. Windows missing. 😂
Nice to see you renovating a model airplane a B737 airliner. How about an Airbus A320-200 model too.
Muchas gracias Victor
Wow!
Thank you very much
Fantastic work
