  • I'm so excited to be sharing my most easy, lazy and simple sourdough bread recipe EVER!
I created this recipe out of desperation, as I had stopped making sourdough bread when my daughter was born. I honestly, could not commit to perform folds every 30 minutes for 4 hours (approx).
So, this recipe is for all of us who want to make sourdough bread, regardless of our busy schedule. Have in mind that as I explain in the video, you are compromising the outcome by just a bit! (you'll see that it's not a lot though).
That said, go feed your sourdough starter, and start making healthy sourdough bread again!
    Recipe for 2 loaves:
1000 grams of all purpose flour
    730 grams of water
200 grams of active sourdough starter
    20 grams of salt
    For process, check video!
Baking: 450°F 25 minutes with lid on, 15-20 with lid off.

Hi, so happy to have found your video, i am fairly new to baking bread and for the past 3 months it has taken a lot of my time since it’s become an obsession and I starter because bread is so expensive and I wanted a healthier version that store bought. Going to try your recipe but I have two questions. 1. Using the loaf pan do you oil the pan? 2. Can you mix flour combine ie white flour/whole wheat etc and can you add seeds, sunflower seeds, flaxseed etc to your mix? Thanks

Hi! you can oil and then coat with flour or you can put parchment paper as well. If you want whole wheat and seed its better you find a different recipe using this method as its not a straightforward substitution! Hope this helps!😊

If you have time to do 2 or 3 folds over the 4 hours, does that help at all?

Keep some in the freezer. You will need to thaw and feed for a few days.

That would be factory sourdough, add lactic acid.
