One of the few good companies that can release a product right after Black Friday and the Holiday season - when everyone is pretty much broke - and remain confident they'll make a ton of sales. Count me in guys!
Huge kudos to Alex and the team for working hard to finesse their products and not compromising by releasing prematurely. It really shows in the long run and has been worth the wait every time. Spitfire and Orchestral Tools continue to lose places in my toolkit thanks to Cinematic Studios.
2021 couldn’t have started off any better!! Thank you CS for bringing us what I believe is the best orchestral libraries. I hope you’re all safe! - & glad to hear some more of your music Alex! :)
Oh man, your piece at the end would be nastyyyy with all the sections- like a dark and twisted circus or something. I mean that in the most amazing way possible. Oh man, the ideas flying through my head right now!!
Great stuff. Tight sound, just what you need articulations, lots of extended instruments. Sounds like it was worth the wait. Excellent composing as always too.
Im considering this or the VWinds series. Curious, if anyone reading this have experience with both? Is CSW outdated at this point, or will it be the thing to get also in the coming years?
Was about to sleep, saw the notification for the video, watched the video, and now I need to buy it. Curse you Cinematic Studio Series and your well made products.
Have been looking for a decent woodwinds library for a while, and this one sounds incredible!! I already own CSS and CSSS so this looks like the perfect addition!
I consider buying this but I would be very happy if someone could elloborate on the possibilities/limitations with the new runs. Particularly I'm looking to create something that sounds like the so called fall offs in Big Fish Audio Vintage String.
@@thegoodgeneral it's a legato run with spiccato in between almost unnoticeable. But i found that whilst css has measured terms Orchestral Tools does have spiccato runs but in their symphonic strings library.
@@Metalpazallteway that’s what I figured you meant, but hoped you meant smudgy short notes to make high speed detaché runs… no library does these well. As for your concern, it sounds like there’s some overlay in the demonstration in this video. If it’s not to your satisfaction, though inconvenient you could always layer some spiccato notes of your choosing to achieve the desired result.
@@thegoodgeneral I want to say yes there is. Before getting the Arron W and B collection I researched this library too and liked it but lacked other instruments and colors i was looking for. Also, spicc runs I meant for a strings library which CSS doesn't have but orchestral tools does have that option now because they blend it in their new GUI 3 mode series slow fast and blended Legato.
If you buy one of the main libraries, you'll get a $120 discount on each of the other two (and $100 off the solo strings). Still puts a dent in the pocketbook, but it helps!
@@ScottSemanski Yeah, still $1,150. I knew I would regret not taking advantage of their Black Friday sale. Ehh well. I'll continue to make due with what I have until the next one.
@@-Meric- yeah, though keep in mind that even if we get fewer articulations we got 13 instruments, one more mic position and again more than 2 legato speeds
I like CSS but I don't see you guys streaming videos about various topics, like composition etc. Spitfire is doing a fantastic job but I don't like their products.
Difference here is that Alex is practically a one man operation. Spitfire Audio is a company with many faces for delegating promotional/educational responsibilities
"Sneak peak of CSS string runs mode, early 2021"....
Did it get released?
A momentous moment my dudes.
And that is a moment for sure!
Indeed my fellow dude. Indeed.
This is a Moment Moment
Already looking forward to the review!
It was only a matter of time before you showed up. :D

I purposely didn’t buy anything from anyone all last year - I was waiting for this.
I mean spitfire just announced something new
OH GOD ITS HAPPENING STAY CALM EVERYONE
*reaches for asthma inhaler to stop hyperventilation*
I've been waiting for this!!
New CSS runs @3:28! Wow!! Winds sound amazing too.
The best woodwinds library so far.
Re-watching this and getting super excited about the runs mode
At 3:26 new “Runs Mode” for CSS is “announced”/teased.
Did it get released?
I just bought Cinematic Studio Strings a few days ago & I absolutely adore the library. Excited to get this!
Good timing with the loyalty discount 😉

Great to hear you are doing so well Al
Dear cinematic samples. Why there are no classic legato patches for Brass & wind please?
This sounds really good.
I hope Cinematic Studio Percussion will come.
Bravo Alex and team!!! At last, "Woodwinds" is no longer greyed out on your website! Sounds brilliant.

Anyway, to change short notes into key switches instead of mod wheel?
Anyone else feels like it's gonna disappear if we don't buy it now this instant?
yes. Tis killing me
has this happened before?
I am in love with this library, the sounds and articulations are so natural
Beautiful! Someday I'll buy the three and get my "Cinematic Studio Orchestra" :)

how great it felt to get the notification in the mail after waiting on this for month
and it sounds sooo smooth and nice :)
Thx to Alex and all Cinematic Studio Series team, for another great library!
Alex you are a GEM! Thank you. Now just for the percussion to complete the entire set 😋
All the 3 libraries (Strings, Brass and Woodwinds) have an amazing degree of Realism. Well done.
Was about to sleep, saw the notification for the video, watched the video, and now I need to buy it.

You guys just killed it with those fully custom runs.
Bought it instantly and I am absolutely amazed, as with all your libraries!
"Cinematic Studio Woodwinds has been in production for several years."
...I noticed that. lol
Thank you! Love your other libraries. It sounds like I will love this one too
YES. I’ve been waiting for this. I use CSS, CSSS, and CSB every single day in my professional work. Can’t wait to add this to the collection.
Congratulations ! CSW sounds awesome. Thanks
Looking forward to more videos.
Yep. YEP!
Sounds so great! Alex, you have done such a wonderful job here. Thank you!
Oh, yes, hope to get this soon! Finally!
And now,the percussion.and after that,please choir!😁
Do you think you guys will ever add smart delay-like from the birth of the trumpet vst. Or polyphonic legato to your libraries?
any update on the release of the update for CSS?
Oh my, it is finally here! Wow, beautiful!!
YO the upcoming CSS runs sound AMAZING! Can't wait!! Free update I hope?
Well done Alex. 👍🏻
don't have a dynamic knob that we can automate on ?
Glad you finally got it finished!
Finally :D Can't wait to use it! And the runs for css..... yeeee
I shall buy this in the coming months. I do wonder why you need such talented players for a sample library though
My lord they've done it again
Had been waiting for this! beautiful sounds 💙
